The Scoreboard presents all the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) numbers you need from Wednesday’s matches all on one screen, from LiveFPL‘s rundown of the goals, assists and bonus points to the underlying Opta stats that have freshly arrived in our Premium Members Area.

Erling Haaland (£11.8m) was the star turn of the evening with a hat-trick and a 17-point haul, with Gameweek 5 captaincy rival Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) having to make do with two assists in Liverpool’s last-gasp 2-1 win over Newcastle United – a match in which Alexander Isak (£7.0m) scored on his Magpies debut.

Gabriel Martinelli (£6.4m) and Gabriel Jesus (£8.2m) continued their fine starts to the season with goals for Arsenal against struggling Aston Villa, while Harry Kane (£11.4m) made it four attacking returns in as many matches with an assist in Tottenham Hotspur’s draw with West Ham United.

Managerless Bournemouth, the side thrashed 9-0 by Liverpool on Saturday, managed to hold Wolverhampton Wanderers to a goalless draw: that’s now just two goals in five matches for Bruno Lage’s troops.

Our usual Scout Notes article, which summarises more of the main FPL talking points, notable manager quotes and injury news, will follow tomorrow morning.

    Lost on last page

Thinking of punting on a Forest midfielder. Playing Neco this week too. They have great fixtures.

Is Gibbs White any good? 12 goals last season in the championship, or Jessie Lingard?

Avoid Lingard, he's sitting too deep during attacks, only had 0.3xG before last night and I doubt it went any higher after a game against City. Not sure about MGW to be honest as I haven't seen much of him for Forest yet but from what I have seen of Forest in general, I think if I was punting on a player it'd be Johnson as he's looked most involved to me, maybe possibly Yates too who's also looked decent.

Morning all. I felt sure last night I'd sell Salah but then had second thoughts. The issue is even up to the Bournemouth game I felt I couldn't captain him given Liverpool's poor form at both ends of the pitch and I know I won't captain him any time soon. Bournemouth ended up being lucky, but even then Liverpool sounded quite fortuitous to get their second goal last night (saw a number of people saying an extra 3 mins than the given additional time was given). I think they'll struggle in midfield again against Everton and especially against Wolves so I'm not sure if I ought to keep, but he keeps getting points so I guess it's silly to get rid. But unless that midfield is bolstered it's going to be very hard to keep him against any team with a competent midfield as Henderson doesn't have the legs any more (same for Milner) and Elliott isn't really good enough yet to play that role from what I've seen.

But I think TAA has to go. Getting only 6pts combined from 4 of his 5 games (ignoring Bournemouth) is way too poor a return for 7.5m and I don't see it getting too much better soon. I can move him out for any other defender or I could use both FT and move him to a 4.5def and move Bernardo to Sterling. I only brought Bernardo in and am happy to keep him mind but Sterling does have decent fixtures and Bernardo is a rotation risk and it can be hard to know where exactly he'll play each week. Thoughts? If I wanted to just stick I could just move out Raya to avoid burning an FT (not an awful idea either, he's been great for save pts but the number of shots Brentford have been conceding is worrying).

Yeh I've been wanting us to sign a midfielder it was our obvious weak point! I hope we get someone in soon to replace Hendo in that three.. Harvey Elliot has been playing well I like how he sometimes goes on the outside and allows Salah to drift in but ultimately as he's left footed also he cuts in which means Salah seems to be spending more time out wide..

Re Trent his form is awful! But I reckon once Gomez is out and Matic / Konate is back our defence will sure up and clean sheets should start ticking over - Trent hasn't been the same in terms of attacking deliveries and how far forward he's getting although this may be to how Salah is spending more time on the wing and also defensive vulnerabilities meaning he's not pushing up as much and overlapping.. When Thiago played in the right of the middle 3 him and Trent can put in balls from the right and also it creates that space infield for Salah! All a matter of time hopefully

Cheers for the insight. Maybe I'll consider bringing him back in once Matip looks up to scratch, I know he's an important player for Liverpool's build up. Agree about Elliott's impact on Salah and probably TAA too

I've always played the four game thing where you look at price, points return and whether a player doubles that e.g. TAA is 7mil and scored 21 points in the first 4 so represents good value but 3x his value

It's simplistic and doesn't consider other variables but worth noting.

C is worth it as a 3 week punt and a good differential. If it pays off you'll be ahead of the curve and get the price rises.

If he doesn't look good then you've got an easy way out with the wildcard

I wonder if Darwin will come straight back in for Firmino

    Jota resumes training today

It's so unclear to me. And affects Salah's role too, so it's important for the captaincy

Great points I hadn’t thought about. Their rotation is about to increase.

Firmino in great form but has a replacement to rotate with all of a sudden.

I’d guess one of firmino rested and then subbed on. Jota will get a cameo as he will have fitness concerns

Salah just isn't a captain option anymore. Just doesn't look involved whatsoever. Will be worse when Darwin returns.

Fixtures and rotation risk/fear have me down to few alternatives this week

Maybe Gross or Toney, but I trust Salah more than I trust them

Could be Jesus if Man U somehow looks horrible with Casemiro starting tonight

Pep has my armband off Haaland for GWs 5 and 6. Punished in GW5, but that's how it goes

    3. Nate(U)dog(ie)

I'd be surprised given Firmino's form (I'm delighted for him too, not a Liverpool fan but he's a special player and has been so key to Mane and Salah's success over the years). But it's definitely a risky spot now, even Diaz must be at risk with Nunez and Jota being able to play on the left (although it sounded like Klopp's preference was as a 9)

Early WC9 thinking is to dump Jesus…

Mitro, Toney, Isak all good picks with the fixtures. Two of them plus Haaland looks the best frontline.

Toney looks good on paper when the fixtures look favourable but I wouldn’t want him. And going without Haaland, Kane, Jesus all because they play in Europe to load up on strikers who aren’t is overkill.

The Arsenal fixtures don’t put me off particularly in attack. United away is not to be feared and they are (h) to Spurs, Liverpool and City. Liverpool defence is shaky, Spurs can be stubborn but it’s the derby and City conceding goals when they’re not up against the likes of Forest/Bournemouth. And that is only 3 fixtures in 8 gameweeks. I am sticking.

He does, but you need to play him every week to get that and bench a Trippier/Walker/Cucurella/Zinchenko type in the process.

          Oh, definitely

At a push, I'd say Neco over Trippier for just this GW. But then Trippier can easily make that look silly

Maybe someone like Walker gets a full rest and he comes on anyway

The mega haul will come at some point. But maybe it's not been coming because he's so far forward in the first place, weakening his flank defensively in a squad that hasn't fully gelled yet

Very true, Neco looks lively getting forward and has a great delivery but no one to convert his crosses and Forest clean sheets are not happening.

Agree. I've always seen him as a trap. Those hauls will be wasted on your bench. Same for Andrea's but he's not blocking a promising 5th mid whereas Neco is preventing you playing a Saliba or Dunk.

Archer dropping in price is annoying.

Armstrong isn't a good enough upgrade. Hasn't even completed 90 minutes in a game. Had him last season for a spell of good Southampton fixtures and was underwhelming.

Better off holding onto Archer for now and raising more funds to get Mitro/Isak/Toney

Cheers, point taken. I'm sure I won't get 11 starters out this weekend. I'll replace either Archer or Perisic. Or even upgrade 5th mid to Carvalho or Elliott. Hmm.

Meed to replace Neto. I an just get aaronson, but have 2ft so considering downgrading james to upgrade replacement. How low should I go? Thinking maybe Trips.

    A - keep james
    B - cucurella
    C - Trippier
    D - saliva
    E - fofana

I’d have neco 1st sub and even consider playing over perisic who I think is benched this week

I have a hideous rank right now. Gone without haaland too long. Activated WC.

Is Darwin too punty?! I think he starts Saturday to freshen things up

Firmino form though? Maybe Darwin is introduced later in the match.

Same here and I already hate all my WC drafts… Not sure I’ll include Darwin but I’ll definitely make sure to have enough in the bank to transfer him in with just one move.

I feel your pain. No Haaland has been a killer..KDB (c) last night being benched was annoying too. I'm waiting one more week to WC in the hope Haaland is finally benched at the weekend...

Really tempted to downgrade TAA to trippier and upgrade Greenwood to Mitro, don’t feel as though I’m getting value for money with Trent this season

Not essential, but good value for that price and output. And ownership. So wouldn’t go without him

I don't think he'll be essential for much longer as there are now a lot of good forwards to choose from.

Arsenal's fixtures also get tougher while there are other strikers with better fixture runs to jump on

We've been linked with Youri Tielemans for a year now and most recently with Danilo dos Santos de Oliveira. Douglas Luiz rumours are circulating around and that's it. I haven't heard anything concrete about other targets.

Was considering selling after this week (and keeping Walker for City cover) but last night was a reminder of what he’s capable of, and throwing their fixtures in to the mix he’s a keeper no I think. Actually quite happy to go with him and Walker up to gw8/9 wc
