The Scoreboard presents all the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) numbers you need from Wednesday’s matches all on one screen, from LiveFPL‘s rundown of the goals, assists and bonus points to the underlying Opta stats that have freshly arrived in our Premium Members Area.

Erling Haaland (£11.8m) was the star turn of the evening with a hat-trick and a 17-point haul, with Gameweek 5 captaincy rival Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) having to make do with two assists in Liverpool’s last-gasp 2-1 win over Newcastle United – a match in which Alexander Isak (£7.0m) scored on his Magpies debut.

Gabriel Martinelli (£6.4m) and Gabriel Jesus (£8.2m) continued their fine starts to the season with goals for Arsenal against struggling Aston Villa, while Harry Kane (£11.4m) made it four attacking returns in as many matches with an assist in Tottenham Hotspur’s draw with West Ham United.

Managerless Bournemouth, the side thrashed 9-0 by Liverpool on Saturday, managed to hold Wolverhampton Wanderers to a goalless draw: that’s now just two goals in five matches for Bruno Lage’s troops.

Our usual Scout Notes article, which summarises more of the main FPL talking points, notable manager quotes and injury news, will follow tomorrow morning.

WC8 is optimum for me because that's the point where Liverpool and Arsenal's fixtures get tougher. Most of us have 5-6 players from those teams and by the time gw8 starts I'd want to half that number.

It's also the starting point for some good fixture runs for Mitrovic, Bowen, and Trippier.

I'd also want to move away from Salah before the Chelsea game in gw8 and bring in Kane who looks the best captaincy option for gw8 and 11.

The way the fixtures fall, I see gw8 as the best time to restructure the squad

2 FTs, Robertson to go but who else? Save or possibly switch Rams

    Rams (Ward)
    TAA / Robbo / James / Cancelo / Peri
Salah / Grob / Mart (Dasilva / Pereira)
    Haaland / Jesus (Taylor)

I suppose its Rams, Robertson and Dasilva who should be changed

Zaha - Martinelli - Diaz- sterling ( Andreas)

Gents, really undecided on what to do with Rodrigo. I’ve got 1.1m itb and 2 FTs and planning to wc game week 8 or 9 so looking at short term gains.
Zaha is the first name that comes to mind but Palace fixtures aren’t great!
Gross, Harrison are the other names I’m seeing name dropped quite a lot but neither are inspiring me.
Instead I am thinking it might be a good time to go a bit maverick, and transfer out TAA for a sub 5 def (Saliba perhaps) and doing Rod > Sterling/Bruno.
    Thoughts welcome.

Fair point, it does keep it simple, increases money itb and enables me to carry my remaining FT in to next gw.

It's a no from me. United will probably score because we're missing several players and Saliba won't get jammy assist every other week. Sterling is a nice pick but Diaz could easily match him. That's just my opinion.

What are your goals, when there's 10 million players in the game? Yeah, of course you'd like to be the best and win FPL but stay realistic. The most talked about 10k finish will be extremely hard to reach. Would you be happy with top 100k at the end of the season?

There's 'only' a million paying attention, and I'm guessing a fair few multiple accounts. The best thing about 10M teams is that it's much easier to get within the top 1% or 0.1% - and much easier to estimate % off the top of your head.

Not dissimilar to my situation (above). Selling James now could come back and haunt you so would advise against that personally.
Rod > Zaha possibly, although I’m not sold on the move myself.
      Harrison or Aaronson possibly?
Or downgrade Rod to fodder (Longstaff or similar) to increase money itb.

      1. Jet5605

Yeah the word is that James' injury isn't too serious and with Chelsea signing CBs we could see James back at full back / wing back where he does damage.
Zaha looks good but I'm not crazy about his fixtures. I'm keeping my eye on Paqueta at West Ham. £50m player but only £6m in FPL. Rod to fodder could work and maybe get Mitro or Isak as third striker.

I see most are planning for a GW8/9 Wildcard - is there any reason for this other than it's about half way before we have to Wildcard again in GW17?

Feels like quite a few of us are fairly happy with our squads now, so perhaps it makes sense to hold the WC a little longer in case the landscape changes?
