The Scoreboard presents all the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) numbers you need from Saturday’s matches all on one screen.

As well as LiveFPL‘s rundown of the goals, assists and bonus points from the day’s FPL action, we’re bringing you a selection of the Opta stats that arrive in our Premium Members Area almost immediately after full-time in each fixture.

Ivan Toney (£7.1m) was the top-scoring player of the day with a Haaland-esque 17-point haul, while Aleksandar Mitrovic (£6.8m) and Harry Kane (£11.4m) made it six attacking returns in as many matches with goals in Tottenham Hotspur’s win over Fulham.

Erling Haaland (£11.9m) hit the 10-goal mark after scoring in Manchester City’s draw with Aston Villa, meanwhile.

Budget defender Neco Williams (£4.1m) also popped up with an assist in Nottingham Forest’s 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth, while Kieran Trippier (£5.1m) inched his way into second in the FPL defenders’ points table with another clean sheet.

They were rare success stories on a pretty grim day for well-owned FPL assets such as Mohamed Salah (£13.0m), Luis Diaz (£8.2m), Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.5m), Andrew Robertson (£6.8m), Marc Cucurella (£5.2m), Reece James (£6.0m), Ivan Perisic (£5.6m), Dejan Kulusevski (£8.2m), Joao Cancelo (£7.1m) and Son Heung-min (£11.7m), who all blanked.

Our usual Scout Notes article, which summarises more of the main FPL talking points, notable manager quotes and injury news in extraa detail, will follow.

    Hi all,

    I still haven't got Haaland.

I have Kane and can't do a straight swap.

Leave it a week and use 2 free next week?

He has to be essential at this point. I would do anything to get him in if non owner.

They are playing each other this week! Tricky one. Kane +4 Vs Haaland. That's close

I own both. His ownership and captainers is just so high tho that it's a massive risk not owning. Best of luck whatever you decide.

Must have worked for you to have two big hitters up front.
            Gambled on no Salah?

Got 2FT and not so much to do as I keep faith in Trent and Salah.
    Should I change

    1) Henderson to Pope or Sanchez?

    2) Cucu to Trippier or Dalot?

    2FT 1,0 ITB
    Henderson, (Ward)
    Trent, Cancelo, Cucu, Saliba, (Neco)
    Salah, Martinelli, Diaz, (Andreas, Soumare)
    Haaland, Jesus, Toney

Sanchez Trippier in is an upgrade from Henderson Cucu I would thought. Or maybe just Trippier and save 1 FT.

    2FT 0.2m ITB

    Sanchez
    TAA Cancelo Robbo James Neco
    Salah Martinelli Groß Andreas Rodrigo*
    Haaland Jesus Archer

Mulling over what to do with the FTs, can stick to a 4-4-2 for free or take a -4 to switch to a 4-3-3 or 3-4-3:

    A) Robbo + Rodrigo > Trippier + Zaha/8m mid
    B) Rodrigo > Sinisterra (roll second FT)
    C) Robbo + Rodrigo + Archer > Patterson + Sinisterra + Mitro/Toney (-4)
    D) Robbo + Rodrigo + Archer > Trippier + 5.5m mid + Mitro/Toney (-4)

I'd definitely look to move to 3 up top soon.

The way the fixtures fall, gw8 seems a better time to do this so I'd do B for now and take a -4 next week

Hmm... Robbo + Rodrigo > Trippier + Aaronson, then Mitro in for free in GW8 could work

My thoughts on the ref's decisions today.

Coutinho goal - That is a linesmans error and has got nothing to do with VAR or the ref, that happened 10 times a week even before VAR was introduced. Also all city players stopped playing, so yeah, error by the linesman, nothing new.

West Ham goal - Bowen never touched the ball and had his leg trailing. It's a freekick to Mendy. That's a similar situation in which Chech got his head injury, because Hunt decided to keep his leg trailing. Clear freekick for me.

Newcastle goal - This is the one I haven't decided over yet. It's a 50/50 call for me and I can see both sides of the argument. It's a shoulder to shoulder tackle between Mitchell and Willock. Is Willock still responsible for his tackle into Guaita, probably. Does he get tackled into Guaita, yes. Difficult one...

None of these come close to the Cucurella decision a couple of weeks ago though, that one still baffles me.

He could have damaged the sole of Van Dijk's foot with his shin! Some players get lenient calls by refs. Stevie G used to hack lads out of it and refs would barely book him. Freemasonry is my guess.

As for the Coutinho goal - it’s a linesman error, but it’s the ref that blows the whistle. Doesn’t that make it the ref’s error.

      1. Zalk
        • 15 Years
        4 years, 18 days ago

The ref always blows the whistle if the linesman signals for offside,t hat's why the linesman is there, because he has the angle to make the decision. He shouldn't have been so wuick with the flag.

Ranked 2M. GW3 WC set me up nicely, but I've missed hauls via my own decisions. Anyway, I'm targeting this squad with FTs:

    Sanchez Ward
    Trent Cancelo James Trippier Dalot
    Salah Zaha Martinelli Gross Andreas
    Toney Haaland Mitrovic

Tentative FTs to get there from my current squad, if other issues don't appear:

    GW7: Perisic to James
    GW8: Jesus to Mitrovic (C)
    GW10: Dasilva to Zaha (VC)

No price issues either: buffer of £0.5 between now and GW10

    Any criticisms?

Am I correct in thinking we have first WC to use before GW16, unlimited changes during World Cup, and then another one to use until end of season after GW17?

I have a few drafts. None include Salah. I’m trying to work out if I’m knee jerking him out or it’s the right time.

For those who hit their WC's, the clean sheet rate is erratic. Does not mean you should pick bench fodder defenders to start for you but perhaps look into picking defenders which will work within your budget. There are some decent undervalued defenders available. As we have seen, the strikers are becoming the crown jewels now and there are loads this season.

    GW1 - 5 clean sheets
    GW2 - 5 clean sheets
    GW3 - 4 clean sheets
    GW4 - 5 clean sheets
    GW5 - 3 clean sheets
    GW6 - 3 so far

Picking defenders that work within my budget… I like this idea. I’m going to do exactly that. Thanks mate

I think getting Mitro in for fodder up top is the right move. Which downgrade to make?

    A. Trent to Trippier
    B. Salah to Sterling
    C. Diaz to £6.4m mid

Haven't watched nor looked at the stats of this Sinisterra guy, any good for Kulu replacement to enable Mitro?

Only when he plays on the left, which conflicts with Harrisson.

    Sanchez
    TAA James Robbo*** Cancelo
    Salah gross martinelli rodrigo***
    Jesus haaland

    Subs ward n.williams archer Andreas

    2ft 0.5 itb..

Robbo, rodrigo, archer to trippier, harrison/Aaronson and mitrovic for -4 ?

    Raya
    James Cancelo TAA Trippier
    Martinelli Gross Zaha Salah
    Jesus Haaland
    Ward Andreas N.Williams Greenwood
    2FT 1.7m ITB

Feel it's time to lose Salah, although could be risky and Greenwood. But which option would you choose?

    1. Salah & Greenwood > Sterling & Toney
    2. Salah & Greenwood >

Still quite like Diaz... Sterling didn't register a shot today apparently.

Yeah Diaz is an option. I'm not entirely convinced on Sterling but he seems a popular pick and has good fixtures

Accidently pressed post... 2 was Salah & Greenwood > De Bruyne & Mitrovic
      3. Salah & Greenwood > (any mid up to 7.7m) leeds or united perhaps & Kane

Thoughts on this team? I keep rolling transfers with no real changed.

    Sanchez (ward)
    Trent/Cuc/White/Trippier/Neco
    Salah/KDB/Martinelli (Neto) (Andreas)
    Kane/Jesus (Stanfield)

Roll again? Or Cuc to cheap defender?

It'll be close and I do like Kane myself but Haaland could get scary numbers this year if he carries on the way he is. I suppose it depends upon who you'd rather have between Salah and KDB for how to get in Haaland

Bit strange that Alvarez didn’t come on with City drawing 1-1. I got him for before forest game and surely he deserved some minutes

Pep is outsmarting himself or becoming his own worst enemy.

Even a blind man knows if Haaland is not going to touch the ball much then he should be camping close to or inside the oppositions box, otherwise Haaland becomes a flagpole.

Which mids would you target if on WC, struggling a bit for inspiration atm:

    Pope Ward
    Cancelo Trippier James Perisic Neco
    KDB Maddison Zaha Martinelli Andreas
    Haaland Mitrovic Toney
