Gameweek 12 is the second midweek round of the 2022/23 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season and follows hot on the heels of Sunday’s action.

Brighton and Hove Albion v Nottingham Forest get us underway at 19:30 BST, with Crystal Palace v Wolverhampton Wanderers three-quarters of an hour later.

Roberto De Zerbi makes just one change from the side that lost 2-0 at Brentford in Gameweek 11, as Adam Lallana replaces Pervis Estupinan, who drops to the bench.

That could potentially see Leandro Trossard line up at left wing-back, although a system change to a back four is another possibility.

As for the visitors, Steve Cooper makes three alterations. In come Serge Aurier, Orel Mangala and Jesse Lingard, with Harry Toffolo, Cheikhou Kouyate and Emmanuel Dennis dropping out.

Neco Williams, meanwhile, is included in the starting XI, with Aurier expected to feature at left-back.

Over at Selhurst Park, Patrick Vieira makes just one change from Saturday’s goalless draw at Leicester City, as Michael Olise comes in for Jordan Ayew.

Managerless Wolves, however, ring the changes. Nathan Collins returns from suspension, while Nelson Semedo, Hugo Bueno and Boubacar Traore are all handed starts.

Jonny is a substitute, but fellow full-back Rayan Ait-Nouri is absent from the matchday squad.

GAMEWEEK 12 LINE-UPS

Nottingham Forest XI: Henderson, Williams, Cook, McKenna, Aurier, Mangala, Yates, Freuler, Lingard, Gibbs-White, Johnson

Crystal Palace XI: Guaita, Ward, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell, Doucoure, Schlupp, Eze, Olise, Zaha, Edouard

Subs: Johnstone, Goodman, Tomkins, Ebiowei, Balmer, Riedewald, Milivojevic, Ayew, Mateta

    Can someone explain:

Salah has Net Transfers (NT) of around 800k. His ownership(Selected By(SB)) though jumped from 2.7M to 4.3M. Thats 1.6M NT. No?

I guess FHs? If 10% of the game FH, that’s like 1m extra Salah owners for instance

Don't FH's and other chips included in NT's? Doesn't make sense NT mean the IN's minus OUT's.

The fpl site shows 4.3M or is that specific for this gw alone(due to FH's)? Then it reverts back to the 3.5m going forward..

On the scoring page when you click a player, in the far right column: 4.3m
            Now he has 33% ownership * 10.7m active teams = 3.5m
I think the delta is free hits

either of those gross chances fall to Trossard and he scores, hopefully de Zerbi sees sense and stops playing Trossard LM

Trossard looked a bit lethargic. You could see he doesn't play the way he used to under Potter. Either way he is out of my team with those fixtures coming up.

I’ve taken the decision to steer clear of Pool players for now. I’m still not convinced so instead I’m loaded on Arsenal Spurs and City. Not going there unless the string together a few results. There’s enough quality elsewhere so far this season.

    Almiron + Mitrovic > Foden + Archer -4

You seem to have the special touch with transfers this season anyway!

        Almiron GW8: 2, 15, 7, 3
        Kepa GW10: 6, 10
        Dier GW11: 6

As moves in isolation, I don't like them (obviously the Foden in one is good). Most of those other players are very good though and you'd have a good team going forwards with all the players everybody wants to try and get in over the next few GWs so would be ahead of the curve if you buy them nowish. Which of the others would you need to bring in too and when would you do it?

I have all the rest already.

        Kepa Ward
        Cancelo Trippier Dier Gomez Neco
        Salah Zaha Martinelli XX Andreas
        Haaland Kane XX

I'd basically be forced to play 2 of Dier, Gomez, Neco and Andreas every week but I don't think that's too bad for a few weeks and I get all the meta attackers this way (except Saka).

It'd not terrible just would just look forward towards what your squad will be looking like each week. Front 7 fine (if no rotation), but back three a bit iffy - especially in GW15 when Dier/Gomez play each other.

It's also assuming Gomez keeps his spot - but I guess you've got an out with a player like White (although GW15 still hard for him).

Also there's some fixtures where an Arsenal double up up front might be better (e.g. NFO GW14)

Yeah I have a much more basic Zaha > Saka available as well. That was the 'safe' plan.

Similar team to mine, except have Kane/Almiron/Kilman instead of Scamacca/Foden/TAA.

I like the Scamacca pick, but this is the first time this season I have had Haaland-Salah-Kane, so will run with that to the WC break.

Scamacca seems to have displaced the Snowman as first choice CF, and after Liverpool West Ham have three tase fixtures. But so does Mitro.

People will already be finding reasons to not captain Haaland after one blank as often happens, I'm not too sure Salah having a good game is great for captaincy. I suppose spread over 2 players is better than one but it also means that we'll very rarely have differential captains, it'll always be one of the two

    19 from 5...

Good thing I never took any hits. Its looking like a tragic gameweek.

Ha feel your pain! 12 from 4 for me, following up my 40 all out last week. I’m least I’m nailing the consistency

I don't think that's bad give today's fixtures. Very happy with 17 from 4 (hit counted)

Haaland will get autosubbed out but I guess theyre playing a dangerous game not selecting a playing VC.

Many prestigious firework displays have been banned this year.
I hope those peeps affected do their own garden display, and an errant rocket finds it's way up where the sun don't shine.

yeah get Edouard instead of Greenwood, then a 4.3 sub defender, that gives you a better bench with no dead slots

Personally I'd drop the 5.6m 5th defender down to Neco and turn Greenwood into Solanke, or any other forward you think has a ceiling higher than 1.

I have somehow landed on a threemium although I had no intention to do so. Now, I have so many options for GW13.

    Pope, Ward
    Trippier, Saliba, Andersen, Webster, Struijk
    Salah, KDB, Martinelli, Zaha, Andreas
    Haaland, Toney, Mitrovic

    A. Zaha ➝ Saka
    B. Zaha, Pope ➝ Foden, Kepa / Raya (-4)
    B. KDB, Andersen ➝ Foden, Cancelo (-4)
    C. Toney, Andreas ➝ Saka, 4.3m (-4)
    D. KDB, Andreas ➝ Saka, Foden (-4) [bench headache for mid/fwd]

Thanks. I made a mistake in the list numbering.

Cancelo is very highly owned indeed.
