Five more Gameweek 12 matches take place on Wednesday evening, with Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur following on from four 7.30pm BST kick-offs.

As predicted/feared, Jurgen Klopp and Graham Potter have made several changes this evening with the games coming thick and fast.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabio Carvalho, Kostas Tsimikas, Jordan Henderson and Darwin Nunez are all recalled by the Liverpool boss at Anfield tonight, with James Milner, Harvey Elliott, Andy Robertson and Fabinho benched and Diogo Jota now sidelined for months.

David Moyes gives Flynn Downes his first Premier League start for West Ham, while the fit-again Kurt Zouma and Pablo Fornals also return. Vladimir Coufal and Emerson Palmieri are demoted to substitute duty, while Lucas Paqueta has reportedly picked up a shoulder injury and is set for a spell out.

In west London, Graham Potter has matched Klopp in making five changes from the side that began the 2-0 win at Aston Villa at the weekend.

Out go Thiago Silva, Ben Chilwell, Mateo Kovacic, Raheem Sterling and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with all bar Chilwell on the bench. Kalidou Koulibaly, Cesar Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Conor Gallagher and Armando Broja are their replacements.

Hosts Brentford make two changes from the side that began the 2-0 win against Brighton last Friday as Zanka and Mads Roerslev oust Kristoffer Ajer and Yoane Wissa from the starting XI.

In the later kick-off, there is just one change apiece.

Marcus Rashford replaces Cristiano Ronaldo for the Red Devils, while Spurs’ Yves Bissouma comes in for the injured Richarlison as Antonio Conte opts for a 3-5-2 at Old Trafford.

On Tyneside, an unchanged Newcastle take on an Everton side who have Anthony Gordon and Dominic Calvert-Lewin back in their team. Dwight McNeil and Neal Maupay make way for the Toffees.

Some 300 miles south, Bournemouth are also unchanged for the south-coast non-derby.

The only alteration for visitors Southampton is enforced, with Duje Caleta-Car coming in to replace the injured Armel Bella-Kotchap.

Salah was incredible against Man City, scores the winning goal then next game is shoved back on the wing.

Klopp determined to make Nunez work at the expense of Salah.

He played about 35 mins central after Nunez went off. Looked more threatening and had a chance but of course it looks better when he plays against a team that dominates the ball and gives him chances to break past the last man at the halfway line. He's not going to get that against other teams. They spent a lot of money on Nunez so Klopp will persist, he's selfish and wasteful but he's able to find space and chances very well. Don't forget Mane was often one that had to play with someone on the opposite wing that didn't get his head up often and went for goal on most occasions too

You paid a lot of money for him but paid quite a bit as well to extend your best player's contract in the summer. Klopp must find a way to make Nuñez work without eclipsing his star player and main man. It's just a waste of talent to see Salah pinned down like that, it's just not right.

I'm not a Liverpool fan firstly lol. While I agree, the thing is Liverpool don't have anyone else that can play the RW role like Salah. Elliot has played there but he's a very different player, he doesn't have Salah's pace or trickery and he won't stretch teams the way he does. With Diaz and Jota injured too Liverpool don't have anyone that can do the same on the left, Carvalho is playing there now to fill the gap but I doubt Klopp wanted him playing the minutes he has been this early on. Could play Nunez there but he'll naturally drift infield so the same issue is there, no width

Problem is with Jota and Diaz injured then there is a shortage of quality front players so Klopp is trying to get both Darwin and Bobby on the pitch which pushes Salah out wide.

Tonight we went top of the Championship.

Yet instead of celebrating, us QPR fans are sat here worried that our bright young manager, who is building something special here, is going to leave us for a team currently now only 3 places ahead of us in the football league pyramid.

That’s crazy. Didn’t realise qpr were doing so well. Certainly shows how good he is in how bad villa have been since he left. Made gerrard look good. Hopefully get some big compensation?

Congratulations I really enjoy the way QPR plays ... a shame if he leaves but Wolves are miles ahead as a club and the money must be really good

I know, I don’t begrudge him going to Wolves.

And it’s no surprise Villa are struggling since he left, he was the power behind the throne.

I just have to trust that the process that made us unearth Beale can work again with the next man. Brentford had to do it and they hit the jackpot with Thomas Frank, so it can be done,

Just a shame that tonight, of all nights, this has put a dampener on us going top.

The odd thing is I've seen a lot of Wolves fans saying they don't want him and feel like it's at best a step sidewards, the allure of a PL team seems very hard to pass up for a lot of people. Hope things work out for you guys, you've deserved to be there IMO (although I hate that you've sent Reading on a losing streak since you beat us a few weeks ago, not that we deserved anything from that game!)

One of the rare times a manager leaves a club in a better position than when he joined them, if you look at it with a different perspective he deserves the chance to manage at the very top in the beast league worldwide.

With all due respect to QPRs start to the season, the Champ is a tough league that can change very quickly. I wouldn’t be surprised to see form trail off & other teams lead the promotion race as happens most years with The Hoops falling away. At least now Beale can leave with a legacy intact & move on to bigger and better things.

Good luck for the season regardless.

I'm past caring at this point, as nothing really pays off. Going for differentials burned me first and after that playing safe didn't really work out either. All 5 transfers after wildcard in GW8 somehow turned out terrible. It's time for -8 or -12 and bringing back Arsenal assets. Let's make FPL fun again, if not else. 🙂

Both good, saka better option but not much in it so depends what you can do with the extra cash if going martinelli

      Why not both?
If you can only get 1 it's easy - Martinelli if you already have him (and got him on the cheap); Saka if you have neither

Saka possibly worth paying the extra for Pens but over 4 games he’d be lucky to get one.

    Which one?

    A) KDB + Almiron
    B) Foden + Saka

He should start vs Utd. Maybe just keep?

Nah he’s done nothing. Not worth his price tag

I’d keep as should be nailed for this weekend at least.

United looked good tonight and Chelsea still look like a team in transition. Sterling looks on the fringes.

Thing is, there are peeps like me about to bring him in, because we understand the Mad Potter.
Do you really want to do that and potentially shoot yourself in the foot with the rebound off the concrete floor directly impacting your brain.
