The Scoreboard presents all the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) numbers you need from Saturday’s matches on one screen.

As well as LiveFPL‘s rundown of the goals, assists and bonus points from the day’s FPL action, we’re bringing you a selection of the Opta stats that arrive in our Premium Members Area almost immediately after full-time in each fixture.

Our usual Scout Notes article, which summarises more of the main FPL talking points, notable manager quotes and injury news in extra detail, will follow later.

BRIEF ROUND-UP

FPL Gameweek 13: Saturday’s goals, assists, bonus and statistics 10

Erling Haaland (£12.2m) has now scored over twice as many FPL points as Mohamed Salah (£12.8m) in 2022/23, with the former recording his fifth double-digit haul of the season and the latter blanking in Liverpool’s desperately disappointing loss to Nottingham Forest.

Many FPL managers’ teams will be a one-man Norwegian band after Saturday’s games, with Phil Foden (£8.4m) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.2m) the latest victims of rotation, Wilfried Zaha (£7.5m) blanking, and the clean sheets of Manchester City and Chelsea wiped out.

The cherry on the turd for many will be Neco Williams‘ (£4.1m) clean sheet points – well over 80% of the budget defender’s owners benched him in Gameweek 13 – and a goal from the most-sold midfielder of the week, Leandro Trossard (£6.9m).

Everton were surprisingly comprehensive winners over Crystal Palace, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£7.9m) not just managing back-to-back starts without breaking down but also finding the net for the Toffees.

Alex Iwobi (£5.5m) rose to joint-third in the Premier League assists table by setting up two of Everton’s goals, while Bernardo Silva (£6.9m) is one place above him after he too claimed a brace of assists in City’s 3-1 win over Brighton.

In the evening kick-off, a last-gasp Casemiro (£4.9m) goal rescued a deserved point for a Manchester United side who again looked the part in periods of their clash at Stamford Bridge. It also ruined a double-digit haul for Kepa Arrizabalaga (£4.5m), who was on the cusp of a fourth straight league clean sheet.

Expecting a few different answers here depending on peoples ages but who in your opinion is the GOAT?

Obbiously you have Messi and cristiano who've set levels that probably wont be seen again for a very long time. However, for me it's R9.. such a shame for the horrific injuries but growing up he was the phenomenon

For longetivity and stats, you have to say Messi.

At their absolute, absolute, absolute peak, Ronaldinho or Maradona.

R9 may have been the GOAT if he didn't get those 2 big injuries.

Would have to me Messi but am sure some of the older generation would say Maradona.

I feel like peak Ronaldinho was the most gifted player I ever watched but Messi has to be the GOAT

Peak Ronaldinho was no where near Messi

I cant believe i just read that

He had a 2 year run as maybe the best in the world and never put up elite scoring and assisting

          then dissappeared

He gets my vote as both a great player and the most overrated player of his generation possibly any

People tend to remember his 98 and 2000 appearances and the CL goal + 2006 run

On the flip side his week to week club form was ...average at best

Nedveds numbers were way better when Juve sold him to Madrid both in the league and CL

Yes he was a great player but still those few golden memories may people gloss over years of single digit goals and assists

Interesting take, really interesting. Did you ever see that video whereby it just focussed on him playing v Villarreal?

Ultimately, I just think he played football in such a unique way, bossing it at club and international level. The flair, the style, the balance, the awareness, the solutions. Magic

Yes, he probably didn't boss the numbers, but watching him play was like a perfectly choreographed dance

Controversial, but I feel Ronaldinho is one of the most overrated players ever.

He never put up even close to the numbers and consistency of Messi. Yes he had some big moments and he was a flair player but he can't compare to the Maradona, Ronaldo, Messi tier of players.

Not even close. I'd put him closer to Zlatan than those guys.

        1. Qaiss

That is controversial and I strongly disagree. It’s wrong to call him overrated. Of course he can’t match Messi when it comes to longetivity and numbers but he could do things with a football than no-one else has ever done, he was extremely technically gifted. That’s why I said “for absolute peak”, because he was at the top for only for 2/3 seasons and didn’t maintain that level for long.

Even at his peak he wasn't that great for me.

Zidane was a superior player for me in a similar mould. He was skillful yet effective and was also a leader who could control a game by himself. That talismanic quality is what separates the greats imo and is why I don't consider Ronaldinho elite.

Not controversial. People overrate him due to FIFA and his flashy style of play. Only people who truly havent watched the game long enough or know what they’re watching would put peak Ronaldinho even near the top 10, let alone GOAR

        What a list

England has never produced a player anywhere near their levels, as much as we've tried to hype up certain individuals

By extension, there would possibly be argument for George Best with regards to the UK, but as excellent as he was, I don't think he comes close to the names above

Hopefully one day these islands can produce someone that is a juggernaut akin to one of those above from Europe and/or S America

Rooney is simultaneously both underrated and overrated

No effing way. Messi is not fit to lace Maradona's shoes. Maradona was pure talent, raw genius, was a god created in the Olympus. The most important thing in this game is the ball. Then right there side by side with the ball is Diego Armando Maradona. End of.

However, the best footballer in my opinion is the one who makes your jaw drop at unexpected moments. In that regard, Messi is the absolute best I have seen. Taking into account consistency, it would have to be either Ronaldo or Messi.
      Someone said that
Ronaldo is amazing because he does what many other great players could do but he does it consistently.

Hard one, lot of things to take into account. If I had to pick one it'd probably have to be Messi or Maradona, and I think I may have to go with Maradona. For all he achieved given the teams he was with. Not to take away from the likes of anyone at Madrid or Barca in the last 20 years or so, but they were phenomenal teams. Maradona hit such a low point after his Barca move yet he dragged Napoli into challenging for and winning titles and not just as a one off, and then did the very same with Argentina (although that was certainly a capable side). That being said, I do think there's a very good chance that Messi finally matches that World Cup achievement this year.

      It's Messi.

He is an alien on the football pitch. He's just technically, mentally and physically better than anyone else in the world of football. The way he sees space and exploits weakness is absolutely incredible. He is easily the best player in the world even now and the greatest of all time imo.

Ronaldo can play in any team type of football good in the air.
But as for the greatest of all time I always feel defenders get a raw deal, rarely mentioned (bar the English with Bobby Moore).
But for longevity and playing at the highest level while making football look effortless Paulo Maldini surely deserves a mention.

      Tony Adams

When working at a holiday camp he came there with a few of his pals and always lined up a round of drinks for the staff in the evening.
He was an absolute gent and hugely entertaining and generous with no "Big Knob" status whatsoever and a huge sense of humour. He had us in fits most nights.

This, for me, makes him the GOAT.

Who cares about pumping a ball of wind around a pitch anyway, and he did that pretty good too.

Messi CR7 Maradona Ronaldinho are definitely some of the best players to ever played this game..

But Ronaldo Nazario is next level. No one comes close to him IMO.

Its crazy how underrated CR7 is. For me its only between CR7/Messi nothing else come close. I have not watched Maradona/Pele. But players who played from 1998+ only between CR7/Messi imo.

What criteria are you using? International success or is club level suffice?

If we are including international success, that rules out Messi.

I think it comes down to Pele, Best, Maradona, Cruyff, R9, Zidane, CR7 and Messi. Showing my age I guess but Pele was a phenomenal player that could do everything.

Thanks for posting this by the way Rash. This has reminded me how lucky we are to live in a time with players like Ronaldo and Messi around. I've seen the former live but never the latter, I really need to try to make that happen ASAP. Haven't been to the UK for a game since a year before covid, if by any chance PSG get matched with a British team in the knockout rounds of the CL I might have to somehow find a way to get to it. If not then guess I may have to get to Paris somehow

It makes a nice change to have a proper discussion and been interesting to hear others views.

I've seen both CR7 and messi live FWIW (both at old Trafford)

I’ve noticed that most professional footballers of a certain age usually vote for Maradona.

The original Ronaldo seems to be very popular with people who’ve played the game too.

For me, it’s a toss up between Messi and CR7. Messi is easier on the eye (and obviously more likeable), but the fact that Ronaldo has performed to the highest level in more leagues edges it for me.

Also, surprised that no one has mentioned Tony Hibbert. Legend.

It used to be Maradona for me based on what my dad told me. Pele based on what my granddad said.
Based on who I have seen highlights of (I don't watch La Liga week in week out) probably Messi.
Based on players I have watched week-in week out, Moussa Dembele. Maybe Bareth Bale.
Based on players I've seen plenty of on match of the day - hate to say it - Thierry Henry closely followed by Dennis Bergkamp. Blurgh.

Point is, we all have these strong opinions but it's interesting to see what it is based on. Opinions are warped by the highlights we see of great players, by what other people tell us, and by our own team preferences. Peak Gareth Bale would pick the ball up midway inside his own half and you got excited because it already felt like a "goalscoring opportunity" before he even crossed the halfway line. Every time.
Not may players come close to that,

Andres Iniesta had something very special for me.
His vision, his movements, his game intelligence on managing the game tempo, his ability to make the players around him shine and most of all the enjoyment I had watching him perform.
I had the chance to see him
Live and his placement intelligence and game without the ball was something incredible to witness and something you can’t see on TV.

Peak Yaya and Peak NGolo were something very very special too although. They don’t shine by numbers or stats but they would be the first name on the sheet for any coach in the world.

For me there is no doubt...
      ***Ronaldinho***
At his peak he was the best player that i have ever watched.
He got everything and everything he did was with the smile.
Then Ronaldo (Luis Nazario Da Lima).
      Henry
      Zidan
      Messi
      Scholes
      Iniesta

Lets say this is my top 7..but I probably forgot someone 🙂

Can't believe Modric hasn't been mentioned yet. Sensational footballer with incredible longevity especially in his position. Was severely underrated at Spurs too, even by our own fans. One player I could watch pass the ball forever and not get bored, especially those passes with the outside of his boot.

Maybe not the GOAT. But he is certainly up there. I'd have him in the conversation with Xavi and Iniesta, maybe even above them for me.

      Salah + Firmino -> Saka + Kane worth a -4?

Even then Pool need Firmino and Darwin with Jota and Diaz gone.

      Foden or Cancelo?

I have Haaland and KDB. Thinking Haaland - KDB - Foden will sort of gurantee points if City scores and they will score against lei, FUL, BRE.

Cancelo could get a CS and an attacking return for double digits

Actually I’d love to see the 21/22 series as well. Just to get a better grasp of the impact of those that left, like Mane.

Issues aren’t around Mane ; its around injuries and the stop/start Darwin project. They knew Mane was leaving in good time, hence Diaz.

Wish I stuck to my guns and went with 1 premium from GW12 onwards. Unfortunately swayed by Salah's recent goals. Happy to go with 1 premium and drop down to Saka

      What to do guys

      Pope
      Tripp, Cancelo, Dunk
      Salah, Foden, Andreas, Martinelli
      Kane, Haarland, Mitro

      Ward Billing Neco Emerson
      1ft 0 ITB

Was thinking Dunk ---> White as my transfer ?
But after this tricky home fixture against Chelsea his fixtures are really good
      Would appreciate your thoughts

I don't think there is much between them between 14-16. Might lean towards saving a transfer or someone with a higher ceiling

Dunk to White is the most boring transfer imaginable. Salah and Andreas are the ones I would move on, for a hit, asap.

            Really?
Not worth keeping Salah for Leeds game
And Andreas is a good player to keep as sub
Should I focus on removing billing?

Money is not only meaningless this season, it clouds the judgment. The objective is to get as many points as possible, not to maximise TV.

We’d probably be better off if we only had 90m ITB at the start of the season.

Don’t worry about the money. I did that move before this week. Was thinking about getting TAA for Dier with the spare but whatever, it gives a lot of transfer freedom

Not convinced. Varane cries about ‘being injured’ at least twice every game. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if he’s back next GW
