Spurs v Newcastle team news: Doherty and Perisic benched

Gameweek 13 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) continues at 16:30 BST on Sunday, as Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United go head-to-head.

Spurs are looking to get back on track after losing 2-0 to Manchester United on Wednesday, while the visitors are one of the Premier League’s form sides and arrive in the capital full of confidence.

As for the team news, Antonio Conte makes five changes to his starting XI, with wing-backs Matt Doherty and Ivan Perisic – who went into Gameweek 13 off the back of two successive starts – among those dropping out.

Cristian Romero, Ben Davies and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg also make way, with Davinson Sanchez, Clement Lenglet, Emerson Royal, Ryan Sessegnon and Oliver Skipp coming in.

Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski remain sidelined.

For Newcastle, it’s just the one change as Joe Willock replaces Jacob Murphy, who is a substitute.

      All can do is pick the team based on information available and as long as do that then easier to accept when luck doesn't go your way. Lost count of the amount of 50-50 decisions that haven't gone my way this season

          The key is not to tilt and take lots of hits to chase last week's points. This week's drop of say -70% red could well be a 120% green next gameweek with the same players

      Haven't exactly had tough opponents. Of their last 3, one game was against Palace who have scored 0 in their last 3 away games, one was against Wolves who have scored 5 all season, and the other was against Leeds who are in the bottom 3 now who have scored 3 in their last 5 games. I think City should be fine

    Second time this season, I have 20+ points on bench. Both times, it was Andreas doing the heavy work. Last time, I played Ward. This time, I benched him.

    and still just on a slight red arrow with 2 to play - i really need not force the game and captain Haaland - lots of ways to get green arrows with the other 10 players
