2023’s second Premier League match takes place at City Ground, where Nottingham Forest host Chelsea in the 16:30 GMT kick-off.

A poor end to pre-World Cup life saw Graham Potter’s side be winless in five matches, although this run ended with a Gameweek 17 win over Bournemouth.

It also delivered a clean sheet to the many managers that had bought goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga (£4.6m), who starts again this afternoon.

Marc Cucurella (£5.2m) has almost 300,000 new owners for this round – he remains in the starting XI, with Cesar Azpilicueta (£4.8m) in for the injured Reece James (£5.7m) being their only change.

That means Mason Mount (£7.6m), Kai Havertz (£7.8m) and Raheem Sterling (£9.7m) all begin proceedings.

With a win, Nottingham Forest can go up to 16th place and Steve Cooper makes two changes from the team that lost at Manchester United.

Dean Henderson (£4.7m) was ineligible to face his parent club but immediately reclaims his spot between the sticks from Wayne Hennessey (£3.9m). The other replaces hamstring victim Jesse Lingard (£5.4m) with Morgan Gibbs-White (£5.5m), out with a groin problem since bagging two goals and assist throughout Gameweeks 15 and 16.

Cheap FPL defender Neco Williams (£4.0m) is on the bench.

GAMEWEEK 18 LINE-UPS

Nottingham Forest XI: Henderson; Aurier, Worrall, Boly, Lodi; Yates, Mangala, Freuler; Johnson, Awoniyi, Gibbs-White

Subs: Hennessey, Williams, McKenna, Cook, Toffolo, Colback, O’Brien, Surridge, Dennis

Chelsea XI: Kepa; Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva, Koulibaly, Cucurella; Zakaria, Jorginho, Mount; Sterling, Havertz, Pulisic

Subs: Bettinelli, Chalobah, Hall, Gallagher, Kovacic, Chukwuemeka, Hutchinson, Ziyech, Aubameyang

Darwin or Nketiah out for Mitro?

I can’t see mr selling Darwin anytime soon. He gets most of Liverpool’s chances, he creates for others and his numbers are insane.
      So, I’d reluctantly say Nketiah

I sold Darwin this week. Backing Nketiah to match him pretty closely for 2.5m less.

I look on the game the opposite way, someone at twice his price has to return every week or else I don't think they are worth it, a mid price player can blank now and again

Selling Almiron for a hit is bold, to say the least. And I say this as a non-owner.
Not sure I like the moves anyway. Havertz not guaranteed to start both in DGW, and medium term is a transfer waiting to happen

This is the problem with Chelsea.
Nobody you can hang your hat on for both starts & threat.
Mount probably ticks the most boxes with consistent minutes and a decent amount of set piece threat.
I’ll be bringing him in even though I’m not at all excited by it

Had to use FT getting rid of James. Therefore I would ideally like to save FT. Lacking Mitro off course, but do you agree I am properly suited for next gw ?

Pros with saving is offcourse making it easier to prepare if other doubles is announced.

Cons is that I may miss out on Mitrovic or someone else. But have a feeling I will wish to get rid soon after anyways
But I think my defense could score really bad, so mabye I should prioritize getting someone in there ?

    Kepa (Ward)

    Cancelo - Trippier - Gabriel ( Patterson, Bueno )

    Salah - Rashford - Mount - Martinelli ( Andreas )

    Haaland - Darwin - Martial

Same, people will have andreas ,mitro, mitro captain, they won’t want Chel cs.

If I had Mitro, I’d probably captain him.
It feels like a good week to punt on someone other than Haaland, but we are just lacking a really compelling alternative.
Mitro probably top of the list of alternatives.
I may go for Mount - but not enthused by him at all

Any suggestions here? 2FT 0.3 ITB, had a crappy week!

    Ward (Iversen)
    Cancelo Trippier White (James** Neco)
    Sarah Rashford Martinelli Almiron Andreas
    Harland Kane (Solanke)

Thinking Kane might have to go (Havertz?), also tempted by Shaw for James, Kepa for Iversen?
