Double Gameweek 19 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) gets underway at the Brentford Community Stadium, with Liverpool making the trip to west London.

The hosts claimed a 2-0 win over West Ham United in their final game of 2022, while Jurgen Klopp’s side came from behind to beat Leicester City 2-1 at Anfield.

Kick-off is at 17:30 GMT.

As for the all-important team news, Brentford’s top scorer Ivan Toney misses out, having been stretchered off in Gameweek 18. The forward’s muscle injury is “not significant” according to head coach Thomas Frank, but is enough to keep him out today.

That means Yoane Wissa comes in and partners Bryan Mbeumo up front, while Vitaly Janelt for Josh Dasilva is the only other change.

Liverpool, meanwhile, make three alterations from Gameweek 18, as Ibrahima Konate, Kostas Tsimikas and Fabinho replace Joel Matip, Andrew Robertson – who was withdrawn on Friday with a dead leg – and Jordan Henderson.

As for new signing Cody Gakpo, he’s not in the matchday squad, with the Dutchman now in line to make his debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup on Saturday evening.

GAMEWEEK 19 LINE-UPS

Brentford XI: Raya, Roerslev, Zanka, Pinnock, Mee, Henry, Norgaard, Janelt, Jensen, Mbeumo, Wissa

Subs: Strakosha, Canos, Dasilva, Ghoddos, Lewis-Potter, Damsgaard, Sorensen, Crama, Trevitt

Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Konate, van Dijk, Tsimikas, Fabinho, Elliott, Thiago, Salah, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Darwin

Subs: Kelleher, Gomez, Keita, Jones, Robertson, Carvalho, Matip, Bajcetic, Phillips

Here we go, Andreas (c) alongside many other risks. Following template-ish deicisons and approach every week won't get me 10k OR in May.

Wissa could be a revelation after the betting ban, but Brentford should surely sign someone anyway

Is the ban confirmed? I don't know much about it.

I don't think the hearing has happened yet, but it all seems guaranteed to lead to a lengthy ban when he appears before them soon, unless Toney's legal team comes up with a miracle

Did you see the last game? He got injured, and we didn't get an update until the team leaks

This is actually good news, because it means the dead leg really was minor and he's available for GW20+

Brentford without Toney. High hope for Liverpool to perform today.

If Toney is out for a while (through injury or suspension) then Wissa is very tempting especially with Brentford's next few fixtures, been impressed every time I've seen him

Dont understand why fpl site has their fixtures in place ,even though they are not assured...?

Do we know what the dependency is for it to not go ahead? If there is no dependency, and they've put it up there as that date, am pretty sure it will.

For those that had Toney, weren't most of them thinking of moving to Mitro for this GW anyway? It seems like the Toney to Mitro transfer became a no-brainer.

Nice, if that is the case, would you do:

Salah, Greenwood > Kulu, Kane for DGW 20? -4 but have exact cash currently

Benched Almiron andTrippier for Martinelli and White. Already hate myself for it but have to back Arsenal on recent form? And hedging just never feels like the right move for me

I’ve been Ill and spent most of yesterday afternoon asleep. Watched a bit of the Spurs game then watched the NFL from about 7:30 in the evening so I didn’t even bother to check FPL at all since yesterday afternoon.

Had 2 FT to spend too, was going to do Kulusevski to Mount.
