In isolation, is it always worth taking a -4 for trading a single GW > DGW player?

Not always, but good DGW players with good fixtures may work well.

So many occasions very good SGW-ers with good fixture beat DGW-ers.

        Well, in that case

        Rodrigo DGW or Mount GW

Neither, I’m transferring out for Odegaard DGW. That’s why I’m looking at just GW 22 in isolation.

Won't do it for a hit if so

I'd say there are better things you can do with a hit than Mount to Rodrigo

2/11 of the GW20 Team of the Week are DGW players - so if you'd kicked out one of the other 9, possibly not.

I'm afraid it's not as simple as that it. Depends who the actual players involved are and the fixtures

Only if it's a player you want to hang onto for at least a few weeks. Otherwise you have to factor in the cost of transferring them out again afterwards. Making any move for just 1 week (unless it's a free hit) isnt a great idea, IMO.

Do you think Wan Bissaka took RB position from Dalot or its not nailed at all for DGW ?

Wan Bisska is a great tackler. Possibly one of the best in the league. But he's barely Championship quality when he crosses the halfway line. I'd expect Dalot to be nailed once fit

Not 100%. He's not travelling for the game tomorrow. 3 more games for United after that but before the deadline so time to find out if he's back for the double

Almiron at - 101.6 on fplstatistics.

Think this is his first price drop since his incredible run began. Guess there will be more in the coming weeks

Can see many start to offload him with BGW and turn of fixtures. Nobody selling trippier.

Sensible to wait for more info but I'm Gonna bite the bullet and use 1ft to move him to Mitoma now

Thanks for this sensible comment. I smell a fire sale though. Would you disagree with that?
I do want the asset I am buying, who could well rise twice over the coming period.
I know points are more important than TV but I believe there is merit in staying ahead of the template.

Nope, I'll be selling him but I'm not worried in the slightest with price changes. Too much value this season to wordy about the odd 0.1 increase/decrease. There are teams looking comfortable with 3 premiums

Finalist of the cup and their opponents. Theoretically MUN and NEW go to the final and hence BHA and BRE games off. Rumour has it that BHA may have SGW if their postponed game is rearranged to GW25. So many ifs still ...

      It's the finalists.

RP - Reasons to wait on your transfers:

    - there are games between now and GW22 deadline (nearly 2 weeks) e.g. injuries
    - Carabao Cup Final & who will likely blank in GW25
    - FA Cup 5th round draw & probable blanks for GW28
    - If Man Utd v Leeds goes ahead in GW22

Those with a three premium set-up, which one are you sacrificing to bring in Bruno? For me, I'm obviously not losing Haaland. KDB doubles in 23 so might end up spending 2FT to hokey cokey Bruno in and out. So Kane out?

Out them 3 I'd do kane.

Below Is my tactic I'm going 2 keep the 3 premium players you have mentioned

Hope eriksen can match Bruno gw22

To be honest, I could do Almiron to Odegaard and play hokey cokey between KDB and Bruno for free so may well just do that. I've got Mahrez so maybe keep Bruno and bring in a City defender if they can actually defend bu that point

      Sell KDB

I could keep all 3 and bring in Bruno

      Initial thoughts:
GW22 Cancelo, Almiron and Mitro to 5.5 DEF, Bruno and Gnonto (-4)
GW23 Bruno and Andreas to Mahrez and Ode (-4)

      Kepa
      Tripper White Shaw
      Rashford Bruno KDB Martinelli
      Gnonto Kane Haaland
      (Ward Andreas 5.5 DEF Patterson)

Yeah can see a similar route, but I've already got Mahrez so not shifting, although something like Mahrez and Mitro to Bruno and Ferguson would be free.

Pretty much the same idea as the original post, losing a City player before their double

Am I crazy to hope eriksen can match Bruno doesn't affect team balance

    Gw22 almiron to eriksen (double)
    Gw23 eriksen to odegaard (double)
    After that happy we odegaard.

Bruno at home vs non big 6 sides:
    Played: 4
    Goals: 0
    Assists: 1

I’m willing to get him just because of his history versus Leeds and nothing more. He doesn’t pass the eye test imo

    A) KDB -> Bruno (then back to KDB GW23)

    B) Martinelli -> Bruno (then Bruno, Almiron to Saka, Odegard -4 GW23)

    C) Mitro, Almiron -> Ferguson, Bruno (-4)

    D) Almiron, Mee -> Bruno, Bueno (-4)

People lost love for Martinelli in my eyes. If you already have him though is it worth switching to Saka or Nketiah?
I don’t see a massive regression in his number and the fact I always considered him very strong when playing at home and his DGW23 has 2 home fixtures i think he shouldn’t be sold

    1. _Ninja_

Yep I think people are seeing a lot of competition for gin now with ESR and Trossard and shifting to the safer bets (Saka, Odegard)

      100% don't buy, don't sell for me.

Next time he scores his price will likely rise again. Main metric for most players decisions - even the serious/experts - is "last GW points", after all.

Looks like Almiron may drop in price and Ødegaard may go up- would you make transfer now using one of 2 free transfers if funds tight? Clearly a risk of injury v United and City pre week 22 but Ødegaard a buy for the long term (hopefully)

Thanks Natedog. The choice between Martinelli and Ødegaard after the World Cup (didn’t want to lose Marti investment) is increasingly frustrating each week and shows how difficult it is to change the team following a ‘wildcard’.

Probably need to get him in next week but with probable DGW, there’s other priorities. In any event, Marti’s still roughly matching the stats and should stay good

Has to be really, especially given he's had a few yellow cards in there too. I didn't play FPL when the likes of Henry or Rooney or RVP were around, or when Mourinho's Chelsea cleaned up on clean sheets, but I'm not sure if that level of consistency has been seen before
