There’s some bombshell team news from the 3pm kick-offs, with 10 teams in Premier League action.

Robert Sanchez is dropped to the bench for Brighton and Hove Albion’s home match against West Ham United, which comes a week before the Seagulls embark on the first of at least four Double Gameweeks.

£3.9m-rated Jason Steele starts between the posts for Albion, while Solly March and Pervis Estupinan return from injury after sitting out the cup win over Stoke City.

Emerson Palmieri is back in a Premier League XI after missing out last weekend, while Danny Ings leads the line for the Hammers once again. Alphonse Areola starts in goal in the absence of the injured Lukasz Fabianski.

Ben White is only among the substitutes for Arsenal, with the injured Eddie Nketiah missing out altogether.

Takehiro Tomiyasu deputises for White at right-back, while Thomas Partey is in for Jorginho.

Jefferson Lerma and Hamed Traore are replaced by Joe Rothwell and Antoine Semenyo in Gary O’Neil’s two alterations.

Son Heung-min is back in a Premier League starting XI for the first time in three matches, while Harry Kane returns to the team after a midweek breather. Emerson Royal is only among the substitutes, despite being passed fit.

There are three changes for Wolves after their 2-0 loss to Liverpool on Wednesday, with the injured Hugo Bueno and the benched Raul Jimenez and Joao Moutinho making way for Jonny, Pedro Neto and Diego Costa.

There are two changes apiece at Villa Park.

For Villa, Alex Moreno replaces Lucas Digne at left-back and Emi Buendia comes in for Leon Bailey up top.

Palace’s Wilfried Zaha is back from injury and Eberechi Eze is recalled, with Jean-Philippe Mateta and Jeffrey Schlupp the men to drop out.

At Stamford Bridge, Reece James and Thiago Silva miss out through injury as Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile replace them in defence.

Wilfred Gnonto is benched and Patrick Bamford is absent completely, with Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter the two players to come in.

I only play FPL Draft very casually, but just checked back to see how my inactive 'rival' did last week:

    Auto-subs (OUT):
    # - Cancelo
    # - Trippier
    # - Almiron

    Auto-subs (IN):
    24 - Van Djik
    18 - Zinchenko
    6 - Watkins

48 points off the bench, holy crap

Also has Trossard (12) from when he was at Brighton 😆 I tell you what it's far less serious but that sort of stuff is entertaining

Last week I lost my H2H fixture to a guy that hadn't made a transfer since GW6. He brought in Trippier (no fixture) and Alvarez. Beat me 128 v 88.

Zaha and JWP look like some nice punts before WC28 and BB29. Excellent.

Don't think I could handle the fright of benching Haaland again any time soon, congrats to all those who held their nerve.

Are you from some alternative universe where Haaland returned no goal contributions, scored an own goal and got sent off?

No, I'm from a gameweek where City play Newcastle while all my other midfielders and forwards have great fixtures...

One Haaland (C) for me since GW18 and +830k places. It's not so scary

Agreed with that. Rashford has been my go to captain recently but went Haaland this week given Rash's fixture (Liverpool are terrible defensively tbf but I think that'll be a tight game).

It's also just way more fun captaining guys like Rashford and Saka. They're way more involved in the game overall.

Rashie, Saka, Mahrez even Mitro once. It's not always paid off every week. But it's paid off overall

The bright side for owners is it happened when it did. At least you can switch to Raya in time for the doublers.

That's a big yikes. Toney and one of Raya/Mee/Henry/Pinnock IMO.

Ward or Kepa it is then.

Estupinan as long as you don't need the third Arsenal in 28

Depends on your plans for GW28. If you're gonna free hit in 28 then Estupinan. If you're navigating 28 without the FH then Zinchenko.
