There’s some bombshell team news from the 3pm kick-offs, with 10 teams in Premier League action.

Robert Sanchez is dropped to the bench for Brighton and Hove Albion’s home match against West Ham United, which comes a week before the Seagulls embark on the first of at least four Double Gameweeks.

£3.9m-rated Jason Steele starts between the posts for Albion, while Solly March and Pervis Estupinan return from injury after sitting out the cup win over Stoke City.

Emerson Palmieri is back in a Premier League XI after missing out last weekend, while Danny Ings leads the line for the Hammers once again. Alphonse Areola starts in goal in the absence of the injured Lukasz Fabianski.

Ben White is only among the substitutes for Arsenal, with the injured Eddie Nketiah missing out altogether.

Takehiro Tomiyasu deputises for White at right-back, while Thomas Partey is in for Jorginho.

Jefferson Lerma and Hamed Traore are replaced by Joe Rothwell and Antoine Semenyo in Gary O’Neil’s two alterations.

Son Heung-min is back in a Premier League starting XI for the first time in three matches, while Harry Kane returns to the team after a midweek breather. Emerson Royal is only among the substitutes, despite being passed fit.

There are three changes for Wolves after their 2-0 loss to Liverpool on Wednesday, with the injured Hugo Bueno and the benched Raul Jimenez and Joao Moutinho making way for Jonny, Pedro Neto and Diego Costa.

There are two changes apiece at Villa Park.

For Villa, Alex Moreno replaces Lucas Digne at left-back and Emi Buendia comes in for Leon Bailey up top.

Palace’s Wilfried Zaha is back from injury and Eberechi Eze is recalled, with Jean-Philippe Mateta and Jeffrey Schlupp the men to drop out.

At Stamford Bridge, Reece James and Thiago Silva miss out through injury as Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile replace them in defence.

Wilfred Gnonto is benched and Patrick Bamford is absent completely, with Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter the two players to come in.

In a way, although it is mildly annoying, it is not the end of the world that Sanchez might be out of favour. A -4 now should pay off over the doubles and the blanks, plus it opens up space for another Brighton player (no wildcard, Mitoma and Sanchez in my team).

All poor choices of moves even before the game was played

The game is random enough the one thing we can do it make good choices.

You are basically kicking yourself in the foot playing like that

      1. Scapegoat Salah
        • 9 Years
        3 years, 3 months ago

How is buying Zinchenko a bad move?

KdB bit of a punt yes, but he did start and I seem to recall his 4 goals against Wolves a year or so back came out of nowhere really

        1. FPL_trail_runner
          • 5 Years
          3 years, 3 months ago

A player once scoring 4 goals once a year ago is a poor choice of a reason to pick a captain for today

KDB is being rotated in and out this year and his numbers are way down. He wouldnt be in the top 6 best choices you could make.

On top of that playing Newcastle

And yes any move where you move one Arsenal defender for another when you could use the same transfer to get more dgw players for next week is a bad move.

And either way you look at it, bad or not, White then scoring is rotten luck, especially after not starting (which is actually backs up doing the move)

      2. Scapegoat Salah
        • 9 Years
        3 years, 3 months ago

And is selling Mykolenko then also a poor move.

It’s all luck, that’s all - the logic behind not being different and making common moves/choices being better is just because if they don’t pay off then more of you are in the same group anyway.

I recall when you were top 500 for a while a few years ago you didnt think it was luck

I have no idea who you sold Mykolenko for so cant comment and no idea who you could have played

Its a surprisingly easy game (i dont mean what rank we get or points) if you just make good decisions and let whatever happens happens - the luck part will decide if you finish top 1k or top 100k but if you make good decisions then thats more than half the battle

I agree with your sentiment but 1k to 100k due to luck is too wide. I'd say nowadays top 20k is skill then the rest is luck
