Interesting Son pick. I'm thinking of bringing him in this week.

Can I ask why you'd pick him?

Not too far off mine. Son is just a sexy pick next week. Has previous vs Saints, too.

      Ramsdale
      Chilwell, James, Trippier
      Son, Saka, Martinelli, Maddison
      Kane, Watkins, Toney

Use 1 free transfer for a 9 man gw28 or free hit? I was planning on using the FH but I'm a bit of a chip horder and can't help think it'll be useful later down the line. Anyone else in similar position?

What are people's strategy for the coming game weeks?

Is there a method where you can play a wild card and cover both the BGW and may be a bench boost for the DGW?

I had a rough idea I'd FH 28 and use the rest of my chips when the doubles and blanks are confirmed but honestly I keep changing my mind and losing track anyways. My strategy is basically horde the chips and somehow keep getting green arrows in the mean time (working so far!)

Field 10 with FTs in 28

      BB 29

Save both WC and FH, maybe even for 37 and 38

        BB 29 makes sense.

Not sure about saving your other chips for that late in the day... Those last games can often be very hard to predict.

Yep, will probably end up using them earlier based on coming blanks/doubles but I do love a good last day free pick

I feel a late FH or WC is pretty underrated and can be very powerful when everyone's got players with nothing to play for in their squad. Allows you to load up on nailed starters that on aren't on the beach. Obviously pros and cons but some of my best seasons in fpl have come when I've more or less planned as though I don't have chips and then use them late in the season. Ymvm

Played WC in 26, playing 10 in 28, 2FT to have 12-13 doublers to BB29 plus 2x ARS at home to Leeds.
FH really depends on the cup results. Might be necessary in 32, or might be able to save for a nice juicy double in 34 or 37.
I think there are enough playing in 28 with nice 29 fixtures to set out an OK team for both

Was planning on WC28, but now considering just using FTs to get to BB29. Already used FH, so WC might be useful later in the season. Some thinking to be done.

WC now for BB in GW29

Players with doubles only. Who would you change?

    Kepa Raya

    Trippier Shaw Chilwell Mee Estupinan

    Maddison Mitoma MacAllister Rashford Bowen

    Toney Havertz Watkins

Some random thoughts. Maybe consider some Arsenal SGW players in GW28 and GW29? Saka might be better than Bowen over 28/29. Also maybe consider Pope or another keeper who may have future DGWs after GW29. Have you got a captain picked for GW28? Kane might be the best option. Have you got a route to get Haaland back?

I need to use one of my FT's in order to field 10 players in gw28 but haven't got a clue who to get.

The ones I can sacrifice are Haaland, Estipunian or March. I already own Watkins & Toney

Any suggestions on who to get in that also double in gw29?

When selecting a doubler the first thing I ask myself is whether I would select him as a single gameweek player, if the answer is no then I don't generally buy him. I then look at points per game and if it's half that of the single game week players he is replacing then I don't generally buy him.

I will have 3 Arsenal, Kane & Haaland in my starting 11 in 29.

Great player, plays in 28, doubles in 29, nailed for 90, central to everything his team does, on all of the set pieces etc. It's not a bad pick. FPL is as much about getting on someone before they return as it is chasing the points after they do.

It’s irrelevant to to the question
But yeah, accidentally put 12 as Watkins is my sub this week

It's not irrelevant as it may influence the WC decision

My team for BW28, 8 players

    Raya (Meslier)
    Trippier Schär Zinchenko Mee (Estupinan)
    Saka Odegaard (Salah Rashford Mitoma)
    Toney (Haaland Darwin)

Get in two more for a hit?
    Haaland Darwin -> Kane Watkins?

    No WC left

Consider players that have a fixure in 28 and double in 29

Depends who you want to bring in. I wouldn't want to lose a few of those when looking at DGW29

Best mid in and around 5.5 for the next 2 GWs?

Have narrowed it down to this rabble. It's not pretty. Thoughts?

    Enzo
    Gibbs White
    Harrison
    Neves
    Billing
    Almiron

Good evening gents. I've been working all day so didn't follow the game. James Madison was subbed off 89th minute. Was he and is he injured? Thanks all

Best combo for DGW 29 ?

    A. Toney + Watkins + Haaland + Saka + White + Steele + Trippier + Pinnock (BB 29)

    Or

    B. 12 points + Bruno + Iheanacho + Havertz + Estupinan ( FH 29)

So, got 9 currently playing in 29.. who would you be looking to swap out/bring in so I've got 10 playing?

    Kepa
    Henry - Zinchenko - Trippier - Botman
    Rash* - Saka - Mitoma*
    Kane - Toney - Watkins

    Raya - Salah - Estup - MacAllister

    Kepa
    Trippier Mee Zinchenko
    Saka Odegaard Maddison
    Kane Toney

Raya Estupian Shaw Rashford Mitoma Haaland

    2ft

Estupinan and Shaw to Botman and Cash sound ok to get 11 out next week?

Then week after probably Zinchenko to Shaw to get 11 doublers and bench boost
