    Worth going for early transfers?

    Kane and Trippier coming in.

Depends if priced out, but I'd rather wait until the remaining games on Wednesday e.g. if one of my Brighton players get a red card or injury, it would change my transfer plans as they blank in 28

Not for me. I've got a FH or WC to play and I'm not gonna pull the trigger until Friday. If I end up WCing I'll probs lose a fair bit in value (have already), but team value doesn't mean a whole lot this season.

Awful. Been around 650K to 850k for ages, just can't break out.

Jumped from 750k to 400k so far, but expect to drop back to 550k+ by the end of the game week

Hoping for a good finish. Held my WC & BB for the big & better teams double in 34 and FH in 32 or 37.

what did I do wrong here? I wildcarded 6 doublers in the team and I've somehow left 25 points on the bench 🙁

    steele

    trips, estup, pinnock

    saka, rashy, martinelli, mitoma, jensen

    toney(c), wilson

For starters, don't go judging your score when your doublers haven't played out the GW yet. Seems so obvious to say but - yes, you would expect Chilwell to outscore Pinnock if both had only one game, but across 2 you presumably expected Pinnock to overtake him.

Jensen is a questionable pick though, and I don't know why you have Wilson. The rest looks good

You rolled the dice. I’m not going to be harsh like some have been. Sometimes your approach pays off, sometimes it doesn’t. You’ve a few players still to play so don’t write the week off just yet. Many left points on their bench this week. I had Odegaard 1st sun so that’s 7 points gone and don’t even get me started on Tark. Two games last time out to earn 0 points. This week I have him 3rd sub expecting Toney to run riot…..8 points benched. Chin up, we go again!

Would you rather sell Estupinan for Chilwell instead of BRE defender so I can have 11 players this week ?

This would mean I keep Haaland for BB29 and not book a future transfer to get him back.

    1. Mr. O'Connell
      • 13 Years
      2 years, 12 months ago

If you've WCd then the way I'd look at it is, who do you want for the rest of the season? You're unlikely to make too many changes to those slots in your team.

      I'd want Estupinan hands down.

How does that affect Haaland, though?

      1. Eleven Hag
        • 8 Years
        2 years, 12 months ago

If I want to field playing 11, I would need to sell one of Haaland or Estupinan, my original plan was to sell Haaland but now not so sure with options available. Haaland could get a hatrick vs Liverpool defense.

        1. Mr. O'Connell
          • 13 Years

I'd focus on the bigger picture rather than GW28. It's fine to play with 10. But that's just me.

Both good shouts. I'm leaning towards the Haaland dance. It funds Martinelli to Bruno for me during the United double.

Been tough these last few weeks.
I don’t want to calculate how much shifting Martinelli weeks ago has cost.
Not keen on knowing what my team pre-WC team that had Gabriel & Odegaard in it last week would have scored this week.

    - Only half-way through DGW

    - Picking a strong squad for a potentially better BB week in 29

    - Reasonably suspect Arsenal defence and rotationy assets vs flying Brighton mids against Leeds

    - I always succumb to DGW fever

Still Zinchenko for me I think. Some sloppy marking today but generally Arsenal's short corner routines, with Zinchenko heavily involved, have looked more threatening. Don't you think their fixtures are turning a bit ugly for defence though in a couple of weeks?

I like Zinchenko a lot mate!! Palace and Leeds at home next, Saints at home in 32, even West Ham away you’d fancy them for a clean sheet probably, can easily bench too, between Arsenal defender and James for me to decide I think mate

I guess I'm looking at it slightly differently since I'll FH32. Yeah WHU is fine. Mainly 33-6

Best defender to bring in for Trent? Want them to have a game this week and a double in 29, so from Villa, Chelsea, Leicester or Brentford.

Early thoughts are Chilwell, Mings or Fofana. Anyone else I should consider?

Shot up the rankings last week courtesy of Liverpool, and now tumbling back down them again. 1FT 1.1m ITB and all chips intact... thinking that FH might be the way this week?

    Kepa (Ward)
    White Trippier Neco* (Estupinan Shaw)
Saka (Rashford Salah Mac Allister Andreas)
    Toney (Haaland Nunez)

Thinking FH to fix that sorry lot this week, and then get them back, maybe BB29 and then WC to move forward. Thoughts?

1000%. Whether by bad luck or bad planning you’ve run your team in to the ground. Only option is FH or WC to set up nicely for GW29. Pros and cons of both but I’d probably FH if I were you
