10 is fine unless it’s long term. Not having Haaland could kill you and it depends what value you have in him. I’m thinking of keeping and playing with 9 to avoid the £0.4m hit buying him back

Pulled the trigger last night for my GW28 WC (GW29 BB).

    Anything I can improve here?

    GW28 (11 starters):
    Ward (bha)
Chilwell (EVE), Botman (nfo), Trippier (nfo),
    Zinchenko (CRY)
Odegaard (CRY), Saka (CRY), Maddison (bha)
Watkins (BOU), Toney (LEI), Kane (SOu)
    Bench: Steele, Shaw, Rashford, Mitoma

GW29: Odegaard -> Mac Allister + BB (12 doublers + Saka, Kane, Zinchenko)

    GW30: Watkins -> Haaland

Anyone else FH this week, likely BB next week and WC after that? Here's where I'm at currently, with 1.1m ITB and 1FT:

    Kepa (Ward)
    White Trippier Neco* (Estupinan Shaw)
Saka (Rashford Salah Mac Allister Andreas)
    Toney (Haaland Nunez)

    Thoughts?

    2fts and 4m. Thoughts on

Henry and haaland to Chilwell and watkins. Gives me 10 starters. Thanks

    Kepa (raya)
    Trippier botman Zinchenko Henry (estu)
    Saka martinelli (march mitoma rashford)
    Kane toney (haaland)

Have 1ft and this team for 28. Better option?

    Kepa (Ward)
    Trippier, Mee, White, Tarkowski, (Estupinan)
Saka, Odegaard, (Salah, Rashford, Mac Allister)
    Watkins, (Darwin, Haaland)

    A) Salah + Darwin> Maddison + Kane (-4) to have 10 starters
    B) FH
    C) WC to have 11 starters in 28 and BB29

A looks good. I don't think 8 starters is FH territory. WC always an option - draw up a team and see if it feels worth it

Thank you. Leaning towards that as well. But with all the chips intact and having not followed ideal chip strategy, not sure if I am going to gain more points by saving chips for later or using it now. Will give some time to FPL planning before deadline and decide, as you said.

I WC last week and got my worst ever GW score. But I did it to target the doubles this week and a BB29 so still hoping that comes good. If you've got BB I don't think there is a better week than 29 so that leans towards a WC this week

Would think he’s a few weeks away from starting. Might get increasing minutes between now and, say, GW30, 31 - but who would he come in for at the moment?

For me it's Felix. Absolute waster, worse than Darwin in terms of points for my team!

Differential for sure, but wouldn't say viable when the current front 3 are performing well and he's still only just back from a long-term injury. Would only bring him in after he's starting games.

You don't go straight back to playing 70+ minutes week in week out after 4 months sidelined. Bit early for me

  12. Biggsy

    Kepa
    Gabriel, Mee, Trippier, Botman
    Martinelli, Maddison, Saka
    Kane, Toney

    (Ward, Mitoma, Rashford, Haaland, Estupinan)

2FT, looking to spend 1 on getting an 11th player. Think it's only Haaland or Estupinan as want to keep Mitoma or Rashford. So:

    A. Haaland to Watkins (or maybe another striker)
    B. Estupinan to Chilwell

Would be reversing A in GW30

I think this is my plan (but with Havertz). I don’t like storing up a transfer but with 2FTs it should be safe

Don't really like selling Estupinan. A seems fine, maybe prefer Havertz as a 2 week punt

Thanks. Me neither to be honest. Thing I like about Pervis is being able to bench him until his future doubles even if his 1 pointer this week is being laughed at by Gabriel on my bench. Yeah Havertz could be the other option. At this point it's more about the choice to ship Haaland

Folks how this WC team, and BB in Gw29. Too many eggs in 1 basket ?

    Kepa Ward
    James Chilwell Zinchenko Trippier Shaw
    Son Odegaard Martinelli Mitoma Rashford
    Kane Toney Watkins

    1. Pedersen

      1. Tinmen

    2. Biggsy

Lose Reece James. Apart from the triple up, he's not going to play consistently enough to make it worth it. That back 5 will need switching out because after the BB you're only going to be playing 3 of them so either benching 2 expensive defenders until the end of the season, or booking some precious transfers in.

      Oh, and Son....?

      1. Tinmen
        • 12 Years
        2 years, 11 months ago

        Cheers.
Agree somewhat on the back line.

Son is purely a differential who will be swapped to Bruno for gw 29

        1. Tonyawesome69
          • 7 Years

Don't like booking a transfer straight after WC. IB may force a transfer

          • Fantasy Football Scout Member
          • 11 Years
          2 years, 11 months ago

Booking in your only transfer off a Wildcard right before an international break seems like asking for a hit. I realise Bruno would only give you 10 players but your WC is supposed to see you through for a few weeks, not fall apart the moment a unexpected international break injury occurs

          1. Tinmen
            • 12 Years
            2 years, 11 months ago

Isn’t having son who plays next week better than going with Bruno who doesn’t play tho ?

              • 11 Years

Yes. But then Shaw and Mitoma come back from international duty with an injury and suddenly you're either holding Son for his single or taking a hit to move to Bruno. If your comfortable rolling the dice, go for it. For me the above risk, plus the whole "Son being mostly rubbish this season" thing mean I'd look elsewhere

Two scouting reports needed if someone can oblige. I am Wildcarding this week.

    1. Saw brief Villa highlights in which Moreno looked really good attacking. Just wondering why he was hooked on 63 and is he not assured of his place?
    2. Liked what I saw of Benhrama today and see they have 2 good GW29 fixtures. But are West Ham too unreliable to invest in?

Not convinced by the Villa choices but assuming you can move them on after 29. You'll be hurting if Brighton have a solid double with no assets.

Would make sense if their real team is optimised for BB29 to play FH28 to avoid the inevitable blanks.
Don't love the FH team but it could give you a differential boost.

Good point. I only have kane haaland and martinelli as the sgw players in my main team. So probably not using a chip for gw29.

I would upgrade White to Gabriel or Zinch depending on who plays against Lisbon, White is always prone to resting.
I think you need Villa players, & if you’re going Maddison then you can’t have Mee in defence.

            Thanks, I'll go Mee->Cash then.

    Kepa
    Trippier Mee Zinchenko
    Saka Odegaard Maddison
    Kane Toney

Raya Shaw Estupinan Mitoma Rashford Haaland

    2ft
    0.6 itb

Any ideas here on how to get 11 out next week? Keeping Haaland and the two mids

Villa defence? Chilwell? Is Chilwell fully nailed?

    Will bench boost gw29

    Cheers

Any one reconsidering Bruno for GW29 after the Casemiro red card today? How did his last red card affect Bruno's production?

Bruno won't play as a CM/DM if that's what you think. It wil be McFred or Fred and Sabitzer.

He hassled the ref, gave the ball away and cried just as much post red card. Hope that helps.

Worth looking past Watkins or Havertz for potential Haaland replacements for next 2GWs?

Chilly is one of those players when fit and in form you just buy, always looks dangerous

True, just wish he hadn’t scored though.

    What's the advantage to saving FH32 over FH28 ?

I'm chasing an 80 point lead in mini league. We have more or less same team. Looking to go different to gain advantage so maybe FH28 and bring in Villa, Chelsea, Maddison, etc

    Thoughts?
    Cheers.

Assuming you haven't wildcarded and your ML opponents have, it's probably a great time to trigger it to make important differential gains, it just depends how well you think your team is set up to be flexible over the next 4-5 weeks.

    Kepa Ward
    Zinchenko Trippier Kilman Castagne TAA
Saka Martinelli Rashford Mac Allister Mitoma
    Mbeumo Kane Haaland
    £6.6m ITB 1 FT.

TAA > Chilwell, but I'm prepared to take a hit to get 11 players out.

The question is who do I get rid of out of Rashford Mac Allister Mitoma for Maddison/Son?

Mac Allister appears to be obvious choice but Rashford's double doesn't look great, feeling a bit unsure.

P.S. Totally 100% against selling Haaland at all.

So the question i have with my team is it worth keeping Shaw and Estupinan for the doubles and going without next week or get Chilwell and Villa defence and miss out on the Shaw/Estupian doubles?

Shaw will probably score more in 2 games than Mings will in 3 etc
