After a week in which Brighton and Hove Albion’s two-goal number seven dominated the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) discussion, we’re hearing from our very own S. March.

The 2014/15 FPL champion and regular Scout contributor, Simon March, joins regular host Andy North for the exclusive weekly video for Premium Members of Fantasy Football Scout.

Fortunately for viewers, the content will be better than the lousy intro to this article.

The pair will be chatting on our YouTube channel about their own teams and how they’re approaching Blank Gameweek 28 of FPL and beyond.

They will be live from 20:00 GMT, with the stream watchable via the embedded video below.

And if you’ve missed the start or indeed the whole of the live broadcast, you can of course still watch the stream back from the start in its entirety.

Only Premium Members of Fantasy Football Scout will be able to watch the video below, so make sure you sign up today to get access to not just this stream but also exclusive YouTube content from the likes of Simon, Mark Sutherns and more throughout the 2022/23 campaign.

Who would you rather have for GW29?

    A) Salah with a tough double
    B) Haaland against Liverpool

      Personally Haaland.

I am thinking of selling for Watkins but nervous he could haul as that game could be anything

2 FTs and have 8 players.

    A) Est/Shaw to Chilly
    B) Rash/March to Madds
    C) Haaland to Watkins

    A and/or B and/or C

    I'm leaning A) and C)

    Thanks!!

Damn. That's risky. If he gets carded then I will bring in Isak. But if he doesn't before the DGW and gets carded then basically he is a 1 game player that DGW

Yes, if he gets carded Vs Leicester, he misses the whole DGW as it's a two game ban. If he doesn't, you're rolling the dice that he gets to play Man U as the second game in 29

For people holding their WC until GW30 onwards, when are you planning to play it?

I don’t NEED to play it this week but don’t know when I’ll get a much better opportunity, as there are still 4/5 moves I’d want to make on a WC e.g. Madders, Chilly

I’m not sure. Hoping DGW’s that spring up give a great chance to load up on them and be differential.
I have literally just started thinking I could use it this week but I bet if I say tripled up on Chelsea defence, Everton would score.

Havertz plaving a deeper role as Felix is pushing also for the No. 9 position. But if you need a differential go for Havertz

Building on my comments above, is the fear of a Haaland "haul" holding you back? He had 4 hauls (more than 10 points) in his first 8 games scoring 5, 6, 6, 9 in the others. In the 18 games since then, he's only managed more than 6 points on 4 occasions.

I've captained Haaland once since GW18, rising from 861k to just inside 34k. Kind of becoming clear that going against Haaland is a big contributor to that.

    Help appreciated, 1 FT.

    Kepa
    Tripp - Botman - White - Tarkowski - Bueno**
    Saka - Odegaard - Salah**
    Toney - J Felix

    Ward - Haaland - Rash - MacAllister

    A) Haaland > Kane
    B) Salah > anyone

What’s your draft mate? Here’s mine.

        Kepa - Steele (b)
        Trippier - Chilwell - Zinchenko - Henry - Cash
        Martinelli - Maddison - Mac Allister (b) - Mitoma (b) - Rashford (b)
        Kane - Toney - Watkins

Worried now about Toney’s yellows. Havertz seems the likely alternative but I’m far from convinced.

Currently this, 9.5 ITB to fill the last defence slot, keeping cash back for Haaland

          Kepa Ward
          Tripps Schar Zinch Chilwell XXX
          Saka Odegaard Mitoma Rashy Madders
          Toney Kane Watkins

So that’s 11 DGWers for 29? Not tempted to go with another Brighton mid? Currently torn between March and Mitoma but will probably stick with Mit.

Also not sure about Henry and Cash but Newcastle double makes me nervous. Think I have 8.7 itb so plenty of opp to being back Haaland and go for another big hitting mid if I need to. Thinking Salah for the double in 34 but that seems like ages away.

I’m unsure on my last defender spot, and you may be right, not keen on Brighton from GW30 though, could sacrifice Ode for March I suppose then do March/Watkins > Haaland/Ode GW30

Haven’t been around sorry. What’s the consensus on Henry or Estu > Chilwell

Just my opinion but selling Estupiñán feels short-sighted when he can effectively be your 4th/5th defender till the next lot of doubles and beyond.

Brentford defense didn't impress me these last few fixtures.

      Henry out, keep Estu

Henry plays next week and Estupinan blanks, so the majority choice will probably be to get the Brighton player out.

Everyone tipping the same players (again). Wait for similar scores and another week treading water in mini-leagues.

Progress in the rankings this week (and next) will come down to number of points penalties incurred by managers.

Kind of what's pushing me towards FH over WC. If I WC I end up with the template. If I FH I can go for the likes of James, Trossard, Son who are lowly owned.

Also WC and BB later in the season seems more fun.

If I still had a FH then BGW32 looks the best time to employ it.

    Kepa
    Trippier, Zinch, Henry, Botman
    Mitoma, Martinelli, Saka
    Kane, Haaland, Toney

    Ward, March, Estupinan, Rashford

    2 free transfers, 4,2itb

    What do?

    A.) Estupi->Chilwell
    B.) Haaland->Watkins
    C.) A+B

I hate the thought of selling Haaland. The only thing I'm leaning towards is that I'm sure Toney will get a yellow within 3 games (gw28 and dgw29).

    Opinions?

    Kepa
    Mee Pinnock Zinchenko Trippier
    Saka Ødegaard JWP
    Kane Toney Watkins

No hits. Any of these worth a hit?

    A. Mee => Chilwell (not Pinnock to have funds for B in 29)
    B. JWP => Maddison
