One of the three outstanding Premier League fixtures without a date has been rescheduled, slotting into Double Gameweek 36 as expected.

That match is Newcastle United v Brighton and Hove Albion, which gives those two teams the following doubles:

CONFIRMED GAMEWEEK 36 DOUBLES

  • Brighton: Arsenal (a) + Newcastle (a)
  • Newcastle: Leeds (a) + Brighton (h)

Two more fixtures remain outstanding but there is a strong likelihood that they slot into Gameweek 37.

Brighton v Man City can’t go anywhere else following the Citizens’ progression to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, while Man Utd v Chelsea will only have one place to go – also Gameweek 37 – if the Red Devils make it past Sevilla this evening.

Even if Erik ten Hag’s side are knocked out in Spain, it’d be a strange choice to ignore the free midweek after Gameweek 37 and rearrange the Chelsea game for a European night in Gameweeks 35/36.

PROSPECTIVE GAMEWEEK 37 DOUBLES

  • Brighton: Southampton (h) + Man City (h)
  • Chelsea: Man City (a) + Man Utd (a)
  • Man City: Chelsea (h) + Brighton (a)
  • Man Utd: Bournemouth (a) + Chelsea (h)

As always overthinking and tinkering too much. Was between A and C now considering B with Jesus minutes risk.

    Johnstone
    TAA, Trippier, X
    Salah, Saka, Martinelli, Eze
    X, Watkins, X
    Guaita, Andreas, Moreno, Zouma

    A) VVD, Jesus, Solanke
    B) White, Toney, Gakpo
    C) Castagne, Jesus, Gakpo

Gakpo is a midfielder I think?

Fwiw, I think Jesus is worth the risk. Could be very explosive, even if only playing 60-70 mins.

      Like the Castagne punt too

Thanks. I’d drop Andreas and have Solanke first bench if I went with Gakpo and would probably have Moreno ahead of Castagne so I haven’t really listed this team great haha.

Going with triple Palace defence and Jesus Kane Jota front 3. This’ll either pay off nicely or backfire massively.

Nice easy one for a Thursday evening.
    I have Kepa & Steele.
    Neither play this week (FH34)
I have a feeling that either or both could be dropped at any time.
I need a keeper, and as it's for a hit, has to be there for the whole run in.

I like Johnstone, but I don't think he's long term
I also like Alisson, but seems like a waste of a LFC spot.
Any thoughts please? 1.5m to play with.

(defence is Trip, Bot, Mitchell, Mee, White FWIW)

Was planning on having 10 players this week or possibly taking a -4 and getting 11 then using the FH in GW34. Now with Zinchenko being iffy, I'm wondering whether to use the FH this week?

    Raya
    Trip/Botman/Robbo/Zinchenko
    Saka/Martinelli/Madison
    Kane/Watkins

    Thoughts?

    Repost team here.

    Raya, (DDG)
    Zouma, TAA, Trippier, Botman, (Henry)
Salah (c), Saka, Martinelli, (Mitoma Rashford)
    Kane, Watkins, Edouard

Already done -4 For Haaland/Macallister to Salah (C) and Eduoard who will be fodder probably after this GW.

Worth doing another -4 (-8) for Kane to Jota this GW or wait to GW34)

Just think who is more than likely going to get more points. Jota in my case up front , mids a bit more tricky you can go double ars or be a bit punty with Bowen, Ramsey, Eze,Son and a few more. Me I've gone single ars at the moment with white in defence

They can indeed, but why put yourself in a position where one of your players scoring, is detrimental to one of your others? FH is the only time you can purposely avoid the situation.

Tripp has just 2 assists in his last 14. Hardly essential on a FH where you have picked the opposing CF.

It's unlikely both can haul, so I'd say there's a ceiling of about 14 points for the pair.

Or if you get Moreno and Solanke, then the sky's the limit - could get 40 points.
