FPL Double Gameweek 37 confirmed for four teams

In case you missed the announcement shortly before the lunchtime kick-off at Craven Cottage: the only two outstanding Premier League fixtures without a date have been rescheduled, slotting into Double Gameweek 37 as expected.

The matches in question are Brighton and Hove Albion v Manchester City and Manchester United v Chelsea, creating doubles for all four sides.

The other 16 top-flight teams only play once in Gameweek 37.

This follows an announcement on Thursday that Newcastle United v Brighton and Hove Albion now slots into Double Gameweek 36.

More reaction and analysis will follow in the coming days.

      I don’t think either one are essential, but Jota has the benefit of being a forward that doubles in 34, and there aren’t a ton of great options in that department.

      I’m on Solanke too. Nice fixture in 34, playable most weeks on the run-in when needed, doesn’t eat up too bunch budget on the bench when not

      I am going through a similar process trying to get my head around Watkins -> Jota.

      Rotation risk, but how can you not be started after the recent form? Watkins/AVL have some tough fixtures coming.

    4. Save and play Kane (as their home to Man U)

        I think Salah will be pretty close to essential in 34, at least. Could them move him on for something like KDB or *gasp* Bruno to cover the later doubles.

      That is really tough.

      On the one hand, Jota makes sense because Liverpool ship goals for fun, and then go score enough to win (and that benefits jota).

      However, most people will have Haaland and Watkins at this moment, so getting Jota kinda commits you to a 3-4-3.

    This is team aiming to have in double 34 (10 doublers plus Raya home to NFO) -

    Week 33 Kane Bruno to Salah Jota -4

    Good plan or not? Very tight on cash (.1m if made all moves now so Isak may have to be Solanke)
