In case you missed the announcement shortly before the lunchtime kick-off at Craven Cottage: the only two outstanding Premier League fixtures without a date have been rescheduled, slotting into Double Gameweek 37 as expected.

The matches in question are Brighton and Hove Albion v Manchester City and Manchester United v Chelsea, creating doubles for all four sides.

The other 16 top-flight teams only play once in Gameweek 37.

This follows an announcement on Thursday that Newcastle United v Brighton and Hove Albion now slots into Double Gameweek 36.

More reaction and analysis will follow in the coming days.

Which two are the most important for GW34?

    A. Trent
    B. Salah
    C. Jota

Despite yesterday I’d still go Trent over Jota. Salah a given.

      A and B.

I don’t think the goals change the fact that Jota is a minutes risk.

Diaz and Nunez will get minutes and probably at least 1 start each out of the next 4.

Chose Haaland over Salah on the Wildcard. Think Jota will be enough of a cover for LIV attack?

Should be able to. I can afford all 3 + Jota & Grealish, not even on WC.

I have 2 FTs .... If I wildcard this week, will those 2 FTs remain intact for the following gameweek?
    Or do I lose them

Interesting.... I basically messed up and didn't play my FH this week so built up 2 FT.

Debating my strategy now.... Do I wildcard, and BB the week after.
Or use those 2 FT and maybe a hit or two to save the WC for later..

        Current team

        Raya, Ward
        White, Trippier, Chilwell, Dunk, Tark
        Salah, Grealish, Martinelli, Mitoma, Dasilva
        Kane, Haaland, Watkins

Ideally was looking to get Jota, TAA, and Rashford in for upcoming doubles

Bad luck, FPL is such a lottery. One of the things I’ve learnt is not to do transfers for the sake of it. I’d stick to your plan. GW34 is the best BB week remaining and as you say, there’s a few players needed.

DGW34 is going to end in tears isn't it? The sheer number of tasty SGW home fixtures is astonishing:

    LEI vs eve
    NEW vs sou
    BRE vs nfo
    CRY vs whu
    BOU vs lee

I may be forced to play SGW players due to budget and available transfers but feeling optimistic about still having Iheanacho and Mbeumo, especially if on the bench for any no shows. Mbeumo is fifth highest scoring striker with more points than Solanke, Jesus and Mitro and almost as many as Mitoma.

Probably I'm on 58 points and have a very small green arrow with Trippier and Kane to play. You have a couple more players left than average but they will have to go some to make up the difference exspecially as 3 of your players are playing each other.

Wanna stay on a green path so help is welcomed!

    1) Play Kepa over Raya?
    2) Play Chilwell or Shaw along Tripp and Estupinan?
    3) Saka Kane to Salah Isak -4? Or priorities Mitoma/TAA instead?

    Kepa/Raya
    Chilwell/Tripp/Shaw/Estupinan/Botman

He's built up his fitness well now AND delivered. Can't see any better circumstances for him starting than now. Might be subbed at 75+ but at his current level that's enough for me. He's also a little overlooked still, so I'll do all I can to get him in

For me it would be Watkins to Isak. From gw36 Watkins have spurs, pool and brighton so I don't see him as important beyond 35

    Kepa Raya
    Estu, Burn, Trippier Shaw Ake*
    Rashford, Fernandes, Saka, Mitoma, March
    Watkins, Haaland, Kane

    Bench one defender:
    a) Shaw
    b) Burn
    c) Estupinian

    Bench one attacker:
    1) Fernandes
    2) Saka
    3) Rashford
    4) Watkins

I have 1.2 in the bank, but I don't see any players for 6.3 I fancy, so I'm leaning towards rolling transfer. Yes/no?

    Shaw**, Trippier, Estupiñán**, Burn, Mee
    Rashford**, Mitomo,**Grealish**, Saka, Martinelli
    Haaland**, Watkins, Kane

GW33 Kane and Saka to Salah and ???????
    GW34 Mee to TAA

The plan is to field 9 DGWer's, Trippier and Martinelli in DGW34 with Haaland as TC after doing the moves above. 7.0m to spend on my 8th attacker. Who could I get ?

    A) Greenwood (leaves 3m ITB to get in more DGW37 players and solves my benching issues)
    B) Solanke (would probably only play GW33)
    C) Isak (Extra GW36 DGWer but leaves me with benching headaches)

    Would like to ship

    Ake + Bruno + Saka + Kane
    To
    Taa + Rashford + Salah + Jota

Just need to decide the logistics of GW33

(Sorry if it seems complicated, stay with me!)

    A) Bruno + Kane >> Salah + Jota (Saka bench) (-4)
    B) Saka + Kane >> Rashford + Jota (Bruno bench) (-4)
    C) Saka >> Rashford (Bruno bench)
    D) Kane >> Jota (Saka bench)
    E) Roll transfer and player Bruno and Kane

    Raya - Kepa
    Trippier - Ake - Shaw - Henry - Botman
    Saka - Grealish - Rashford - Mitoma - March
    Haaland - Kane - Watkins

    A - Kane + Saka ➡️ Solanke + Salah (-4)
    B - Kane + Henry ➡️ Solanke + TAA (-4)
    C - Other?

Can anyone explain the goalkeeper situation at Brighton? Thanks!

Steele was being picked over Sanchez as Sanchez had dropped a few Clangers, and de Zerbi apparently prefers Steele's distribution.

Then Steele picked up a (minor?) injury so Sanchez played the lady game.

Today Sanchez will probably play since he also played the last Cup match.

Unless De Zerbi outright says it (which he may do, he has before) we probably won't know if Steele is back to #1

Ok thanks. I'll put Sanchez in the wildcard squad for now.

Steel didn't play last week due to a minor injury but its anybody's guess who is No 1 going forward. Even if Steel starts today it could mean that he's back to being the cup keeper, with Sanchez playing the PL again.

    Sunday morning -8 ponderings

    Kepa
    Trippier, Botman, Chilwell
    Saka, Mitoma, BrunoF, Grealish
    Kane, Haaland, Watkins

(Raya, Mac Allister, Estupinan, Shaw) 1FT 0.1

    Thinking maybe
GW33: Kane, Bruno, Saka > Jota, Rashford, Salah (-8)
    GW34: Raya > De Gea

Is Trent worth another hit and switching Jota to Isak/Martial? Feels like he ain't

Jota and Salah would have to net a goal each to even out the hits before Kane plays a injured united defense. I wouldn't ship him out for a hit this week

It's more for the rest of the season, than one week. Although, the 3 coming in seem more promising for GW33 also. There'll be hits now, or next week. And, also striking while the Jota iron is hot.

I'll see how Kane/Spuds look today.

Don't you think Darwin might get a start midweek though after Klopp's comments? Or do you think he just means mins of the bench? I think I'm waiting til 34 to bring Jota in

Problem I have is, funds-wise, it's a package deal. No GW33 Jota = no Salah & Rashford also. I could just do Bruno to Rash. Or roll.

Depends on if you think the new trio would make back the -4 in GW33, rather than waiting until GW34

Based on your comments I'd do Bruno to Rashford. Gives you a more attacking asset, sets you up with cash for next week and no hits

This seems the most sensible move. Also has flexibility for injuries/suspension.

I'll see how it looks later. Need to get some sunshine on me

First WC-draft. Any ideas or suggestions? (0.2 ITB)

    Sanchez - Iversen
    TAA - Trippier - Stones - White - Dalot
    Salah - Grealish - Rashford - Bowen - March
    Haaland - Watkins - Enciso

    Thanks in advance...

Don't like your Brighton picks two of them are along way off being nailed and as are Dalot and Stones.

Wouldn’t go Sanchez on WC as think it’s still Steele’s place to lose. Maybe go Estu for Brighton defence (instead of White) and alternate cheaper keeper.

How about Iheanacho for 3rd cheap striker. Allows Mitoma in midfield instead of Bowen

    Bench one

    1 Grealish
    2 Martinelli
    3 Mitoma
    4 Jota
    5 Rashford

Martinelli (just) but I do worry about Jota XMins midweek

I currently have Mahrez. Would you keep as a diff for the upcoming doubles, or use a ft to swap to Grealish now?

No. Two FT ahead of 34 could be important if there's any injures.

    Ode —> Salah
    Kane —> Watkins or Iheanacho

    Worth a -4 this week?

I think I'd go Isak ahead of both Watkins & Nacho, based on fixtures.

How many United and City picks are you gonna have for the upcoming GWs?

I’m probably sticking with my Haaland Grealish Rashford Shaw, could eventually add some City def cover.

Same for me. Would have got another City defender but need to focus FT’s on getting in Salah and Trent

I’ll be doing Salah to KDB in 35 most likely.

That would leave me Haaland, Grealish, KDB, Rashford, DDG for the doubles

Haaland KDB Grealish. Maybe no Man Utd (have Shaw but might sell for Trent)
