It’s hard to believe we are into the month of May and there are just four FPL Gameweeks to go! Before we know it, we’ll be building countless Gameweek 1 drafts for the 2023/24 season…

Before that though, we want to finish this campaign with a bang, ideally with four healthy green arrows. For this week’s piece, I’ve shared my current squad and discussed what my remaining free transfers are likely to be if no major issues arise.

I definitely wouldn't put the idea away, west midlands derby too so something like that may go out the window but I think in general after a spanking most managers just try to avoid that happening again in the next game

    Still have my FH

what is the best week to play it?

Reckon you can wait until last game of season, get some early team news and try to get some diffs in?

Maybe. Most teams will probably have nothing to play for and may rest key players.

Interesting game last night. Brighton score the winner in the 99th minute when there was only supposed to be 5 minutes added on.

It used to be called Fergie time, now it's De Zerbi time.

Always a bit of additional time on top of injury time, then the delay for the VAR check + referee being sent to monitor + ManUtd complaining about the decision all before it could be taken. Don't forget the same thing happened in ManUtd's favour at the Amex a couple of years ago

    3. Hairy Potter

According to BBC the corner that led to the handball was at 90 +5 mins. It wasn't given straight away, VAR told the ref to review it on the monitor and then there was the time to set up the penalty.

      1. Nate(U)dog(ie)
        • 5 Years

The ref actually blew for full time before anyone knew VAR was even looking at anything

    Bench one:

    B) Watkins (wol)
    C) Mitoma (EVE)

I would say Mitoma as he's likely to be rotated. Brighton have successive game weeks coming up.

    1. Nate(U)dog(ie)

Why do you have to get rid of Grealish? Just because everyone here says he'll get benched doesn't mean he will, everyone said he was getting benched v West Ham and Leicester and Soton too. He's only missed 2/3 games since mid January

      1. Prinzhorn

That's true. Might take a punt on Alvarez for Jota though. Still have a day to think about it.

In summary; fpl General is considering lots of players, particularly those with double game weeks. But no specific players decided upon, still taking time to decide. Loads of names thrown into the ring for what is effectively 4 free transfers.

In fairness, I am currently in a similar position, but wouldn't exactly think this is worthy of an article.
