Brighton v Everton team news: March benched again

The final day of Gameweek 35 continues at the American Express Community Stadium, where Brighton and Hove Albion host Everton at 17:30 BST.

Just like last Thursday, Roberto De Zerbi has left Solly March (£5.3m) on the bench to frustrate his many Fantasy Premier League (FPL) owners. 60% of the top 100k have him.

Two players have moved into De Zerbi’s line-up, as Pascal Gross (£5.4m) and Deniz Undav (£5.0m) replace Billy Gilmour (£4.2m) and Julio Enciso (£4.6m). That means the high-flying Seagulls will start regulars Kaoru Mitoma (£5.6m), Alexis Mac Allister (£5.5m), Pervis Estupinan (£4.9m) and goalkeeper Jason Steele (£4.0m).

Meanwhile, Everton will be buoyed by Leicester City’s afternoon defeat at Fulham and have made their own two changes. Injured Seamus Coleman (£4.2m) is out for Nathan Patterson (£3.9m), with Yerry Mina (£4.3m) preferred to Michael Keane (£4.2m).

          He doesn't need it now but it's in prep for future GWs. He wants to play him at Southampton and give other players like Mitoma and Mac A a rest there. So a long rest now (where he'll still get some mins from bench) and then he'll play throughout.

        He was rested against ManUtd. Either he's been carrying some injury or RDZ simply prefers what Buonanotte offers

        How much rest does he require? He's played only 80 mins of football in 10 days. That's ample rest.
        Seems De Zerbi prefers Buonanotte in that position atm.

    March will play right through now till the end of the season and Mitoma/Mac A will probably miss the Southampton game in 37.

      Not sure that's how it works. MacAllister looked back to his best against ManUtd after his rest and as he showed during the WC he doesn’t need too much rest, Mitoma was wasteful but kept getting chances like before too. If the turnaround is really tight then maybe Mitoma will get a rest but I wouldn't even be sure on that

        I mean I think it's the most likely thing to happen but ofc I don't know how tired the players are and he may not need a rest at all. They have 5 games in 14 days with the Sou fixture being 3 days after New and 3 days before City though. It makes logical sense that's where he might rest a lot of players again.

        The way I see it is March gets a long rest and is able to play through all these games now as a result though.

      Had Eze for many weeks now, but also March who coming on last gameweek for 20odd minutes meant my 1st sub Eze with 9 points stayed on bench 🙁

      But at least in other news we are now "mathematically" safe!! COYP! 🙂
