Having started each of Brighton and Hove Albion’s first 31 league games, Solly March (£5.3m) was benched in successive matches against Manchester United and Everton.

Things only got worse against the Toffees, with the Brighton winger pulling his hamstring after his half-time introduction.

March’s fitness status for Gameweek 36 hasn’t yet been confirmed by head coach Roberto De Zerbi, who was coy about the injury post-match.

The timing for March’s 1.65 million Fantasy Premier League (FPL) owners is terrible should he be ruled out, as the Seagulls are about to have consecutive Double Gameweeks.

So we’ve opened up the question to Scout’s comment section – if injured, who will you replace him with?

ANOTHER BRIGHTON MIDFIELDER

Best Brighton picks for FPL Double Gameweek 27 4

“Have March, Mac10 and Mitoma, so am eyeballing Gross…. Buonanotte seems like a punt too far and I already have three from Newcastle. Don’t have enough in the bank to make a -4 for Estupinan interesting” – Brooklyn Gooner

It may seem like a sideways move to bring in either Kaoru Mitoma (£5.6m) or Alexis Mac Allister (£5.5m) but the extra matches, combined with their cheapness, makes it very logical.

Mitoma is already in 86.48% of the top 100k squads but blanked in five matches before assisting Mac Allister’s consolation goal versus Everton.

The latter also headed against the crossbar, a further suggestion that moving backward into central midfield hasn’t limited his attacking threat too much. No player has taken more shots than Mac Allister since Gameweek 23 and, when analysing more recent times, only Erling Haaland (£12.4m) exceeds his 18 since Gameweek 31.

FPL notes 13

Above: Goal attempts between Gameweeks 31 and 35

Being on penalties also adds to Mac Allister’s appeal, although those wanting both Brighton’s fixtures and some differential potential may instead opt for Pascal Gross (£5.4m).

A set-piece taker with two recent goals against Wolverhampton Wanderers, only March has created more chances for the Seagulls since Gameweek 29 and the German ranks third for expected goal involvement (xGI).

JOELINTON (£6.0m)/JOE WILLOCK (£4.7m)

I have 0 Newcastle players and 1 FT only.

Plan is Watkins > Isak/Wilson (hoping for a team leak)

I'm really not sure if I want to buy Trippier for a hit. My defense is pretty strong for the season.

    TAA, Dalot, Zinchenko, Estupinan, Bueno

    This week:
TAA (lei), Dalot (WOL), Estupinan (DGW)

    Next:
TAA (AVL), Dalot (DGW), Estupinan (DGW)

    GW38:
TAA (sou), Zinchenko (WOL), Dalot (FUL)

Trippier would literally be just for this week over Dalot as long as injuries don't mess things up. Is that worth a -4?

Think I’d gamble and do without but could be painful esp if some captain him. Goodluck either way

I do think he's a substantially stronger option than Estupinan this week. But worth a hit for just 1 GW? Meh, maybe not

I'd play him over Dalot and his SGW. Is that worth 4 points? Not sure. I MIGHT decide to play Trippier in 37 and 38 but it looks unlikely.

Dalot looks pretty good for a CS & maybe a little taste of the BAPS this week. Think I'd just stick with your current defence

You should be targeting Leeds in this double imo. If Wilson starts, I'd go for him. If he doesn't, Isak obviously.

            Yeah

            If it's either or.

Many have Isak and are weighing up double Newcastle attack which I think makes sense even if Wilson starts on the bench on Saturday with Thursday etc to follow.

There is the possibility that Isak starts both and Wilson starts v Leicester in GW37, given there's a big gap between the DGW fixtures (Saturday noon to Thursday night). Plus I'd wonder if Howe would want Wilson starting at CF after he was so quiet v Arsenal, Brighton aren't Arsenal but they will have a lot of the ball much like they did

I'm not sure I'd want to double up tbh because you're guaranteed to lose the minutes contest.

I'd rather get Alvarez. He's almost guaranteed to start Everton and then has a DGW in 37.

If leading ML by 25-50 points and all chasers have double Newcastle defence would you play it safe and get botman over Wilson (team news depending)

    A) Wilson (feels highest ceiling but also risky considering the ML)

    B) Botman (covers all ML players)

      Nah

They might keep a clean sheet against Leeds but even then that's not straightforward.

I'd avoided double defenders where possible.

They might be pivoting out of it this week anyway?

    Really stuck on what to do here with my 2 FTs and 0.9 ITB;

    Steele**
    Estu** Trippier** TAA
    Mitoma** Salah Rashford Grealish
    Isak** Haaland Watkins

    Kepa Martinelli Shaw Henry

Leading most of my leagues so no need to do anything too risky.

Was thinking Watkins to Wilson and maybe Grealish to Mahrez as competitors have Mahrez.

Thank you very much in advance!

Watkins to Wilson I think is the safe move with the remaining games even if he won't start all and might be coming on.

        Thanks bud.
        That's the tricky part.
I'm set on Bruno to Salah in 37 and then Wilson to Kane in 38 and will have to take a -4 to bring Grealish back in 37.. Not sure if it's worth the hit or just keep Mahrez.

He certainly should, but Bernardo wasn't great against Madrid tbh, had a poor game I thought. Wouldn't be hugely surprised if Mahrez came in against them

Tbf I think he was given a specific role to partly close it down out there rather than be expansive.

Wouldn't be surprised if Pep was v pleased with what he did in Madrid.

He has done that for them a lot in that role but that's where I felt he was poor, he's normally excellent at it but Vinicius still got at Walker quite a lot. Mahrez RW with Bernardo on the right side of midfield may work better perhaps

      That should be pretty even.
      Some thoughts:

DDG against Wolves is a decent cleanie candidate.
Ederson seems to always let one in.
Brighton have two tough games, but the teams are not so solid at the back.
Willock has good potential for this double.

Any particular keepers stand out for the remaining games? I have Steele and Martinez and don't have huge hopes for them, Villa have gone off the boil and of course I'll play Steele with the doubles but the most I'm expecting from him are a few save pts this and next week. Have 2FT and nothing pressing, otherwise I'll just move Moreno to Porro and play him in GW37+38

I'm assuming he is, he's still much better with the ball at his feet than Sanchez and allows Brighton to do their thing in better fashion. Didn't have a great game and misjudged for his OG v Everton but it was one game, and he was let down by the rest of the defence too, I'd be surprised if he's dropped because of one game

Please pick a move you like the most for GW36:

A: Watkins, March, Botman -> Wilson, Caicedo, Estupinan (-4)
B: March, Botman -> Willock, Estupinan
C: Watkins, March -> Alvarez, MacAllister
D: Salah -> De Bruyne and bank transfer for GW37

I already have Isak, Mitoma, Trippier and Steele

If I do Watkins to Isak, I'll have one FT left and this team:

    DDG
    Trippier, TAA, Estupinan
    McAllister, Mitoma, Rashford, Salah, Grealish
    Isak, Haaland

    (Raya, Martial, Castagne, Henry)

Shall I roll the other FT, or any other Newcastle players worth it for the double?

    Steele
    Stones, Trippier, Lindelöf
    Salah, KDB, Rashford, Mitoma
    Wilson, Haaland, Isak

    Iversen. AWB, Toti, March.

    1 FT, 0.6m itb.

Roll transfer or do March to Eze in case KDB or Haaland miss out, or get MacA or someone else?

        It's a fine line.

Perhaps the penalty factor is crucial or he'll move back to Mac10.

Also Palace could be playing without pressure in the May sunshine, rather than building sand castles?

Everton with Wolves away and Bournemouth at home is tough but apparently DCL really changed the shape of what Everton have.

But probably Jesus or Mahrez if he plays.

So I [annoyingly] chose March over Mac, now need to shift him:

    Steele
    Trippier TAA Mings
    Rashford Salah Mitoma March
    Isak WIlson Haaland

    Kepa Martinelli Gabriel Neco

    Gabriel + March > Tark + Mahrez for -4

Unsure if it is worth changing Gabriel this week too or stick as I am and roll FT...
Am just outside the 30k OR but would like to hit top 20k this season, if possible!

2fts, 1.7itb, what would you do?
    Raya
    TAA Trippier Botman Estu
    Salah Bruno Rashford Mac Mitoma
    Haaland
    (DDG Alvarez Coufal Greenwood)

I'm already reluctant to bench Alvarez, so if I upgrade Coufal or Greenwood, it's a benching headache.

I'd try to limit it to -4.

There's not many hits being taken this week so you're likely sacrificing a green arrow with a minus 8.

Loads rolled to 2 FTs etc from last week.

True.. but the March to max move needs the grealish to Oden to free up money as well.. I’m thinking to roll next week to have 2FT for last GW where most will go for hits.
