The final Double Gameweek of the season kicks off in north London, although the lunchtime match will be of relatively little interest to Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers compared to what is still to come on Saturday and Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur v Brentford gets underway at 12:30 BST.

Harry Kane is, of course, still well-owned, and he unsurprisingly starts for the Lilywhites.

The rest of the Spurs team news was less predictable as Ryan Mason has made four changes and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Cristian Romero are nowhere to be seen.

Pedro Porro is benched, meanwhile, along with Richarlison.

Dejan Kulusevski, Arnaut Danjuma, Yves Bissouma and Davinson Sanchez are all recalled.

As for the Bees, they begin life without the suspended Ivan Toney, who is now serving an eight-month ban.

Thomas Frank was without his star striker last weekend because of a hamstring injury and he largely sticks with the same starting XI that defeated West Ham United, with this looking like a rare occasion when he hasn’t used a 3-5-2 against a big-six side.

The only alteration sees Mikkel Damsgaard replaced by the more defensive-minded Frank Onyeka in midfield.

GAMEWEEK 37 LINE-UPS

Tottenham Hotspur XI: Forster, Emerson Royal, Sánchez, Lenglet, Danjuma, Skipp, Bissouma, Davies, Kulusevski, Kane, Son

Subs: Austin, Richarlison, Perisic, Dier, Porro, Tanganga, Moura, Sarr, Craig

Brentford XI: Raya, Hickey, Pinnock, Mee, Henry, Onyeka, Jensen, Janelt, Schade, Mbeumo, Wissa

Subs: Strakosha, Dasilva, Zanka, Ghoddos, Ajer, Damsgaard, Baptiste, Roeslev, Trevitt

That he couldn't pick Wilson out on his own.

The guy with 8 goals in 8 games going into Leeds and then Brighton at home.

Went with Bruno in the end. Chasing 40 point lead in mini league and I’m glad I went with Bruno captaincy. The two ahead of me both captained haaland so it’s game on!

Leader also doesn’t have Bruno and benched Wilson. Particularly loving the latter as I’m now the only one with Wilson as a starter. Could of course work against me, but at least our teams are quite different! Live by the sword, die by the sword!

You wouldn't be starting Martinelli, so who would be his replacement in your current team off the bench, and who would you then bench to play Eze? If it's just a 4.5 bench fodder, then it pays off I think. If you can afford to lose those 4pts.

Any idea what Toney's price will be next season since he can't play until January?

    £7m seems fair.

FPL need to avoid overpricing the Forwards again next season.

    1. TheTinman
      • 10 Years
      3 years, 1 month ago

Don't think the fact he starts in January should have any effect on his price at all.

Only half a season's worth of points should be factored into his price.

          • 10 Years

He'll be ranked high on the FWD list due to points this year and historically, quite a few 'casuals' pick the top players from that list.

Not including him from the start seems fair to the wider player base & also allows them to price him accordingly come January. There's obviously a chance he could even get a transfer.

        1. TheTinman
          • 10 Years
          3 years, 1 month ago

Seriously? You're advocating not putting him on the list to protect people who are so uninformed that they don't know he is banned till Jan? And he will have a massive red flag next to his name...

I mean, I don't care whether they put him in or not, but that's a funny reason.

He won't be registered with their squad till January I guess, so he likely won't be in the game.

Spot on, Hazz. He could be transferred out by then.

Probably make it more enticing for buyers, as I imagine that they’d be able to potentially negotiate a better deal since he’s unavailable till January 2024.

      2. Bartowski
        • 15 Years
        3 years, 1 month ago

Yeah, he'll be treated as a new signing when his ban ends. I'd assume he'd come in at 9 million.

    3. Hits from the Bong
      • 7 Years
      3 years, 1 month ago

He will just have a red flag. Why would they need to make him cheaper, nobody is going to buy him until he is available to play anyway

    4. Arteta
      • 10 Years
      3 years, 1 month ago

At least £8.0m. 182 points in 33 matches is a lot.

    5. Yes Ndidi
      • 6 Years
      3 years, 1 month ago

The way I see it it'll be the same as if he was available from the start, just like players with a 3 match ban mid-season. He'll have a red flag against him, just like any other suspended player, and we act accordingly. His value to us is on a weekly basis. If he's a 7m striker now, he'll be a 7m striker come next January.

You don't have a £100m budget to allocate for the season.

You've got more or less £3.8bn to allocate 38 times.

It does work the way you suggest.

Fpl Fecal said there are big changes afoot in FPL next season.

I suspect the scoring system will change.

With 11 million players, the league tables are way too congested and you need more routes to points.

I don't understand the narrative of league tables being too congested to be honest. Not having a go at you, but have others say it as well. Plenty of players have had massive rank jumps since the World Cup break, so presumably there has been more than one way to play the game.

          1.9million GW16 to 59k GW35 here, though a red arrow in GW36 to 83k as didn't go for Wilson!

I enjoy quite a lot of the content creator discussions as entertainment, but often don't agree with their picks. Maybe I got lucky with my WC28 and avoiding some of the FOMO picks from YouTubers.

20pts not sure I would have. You'd be more likely to gain 10pts this week and 10pts next than Mahrez outscoring Haaland.

        But fingers crossed for you!

Thanks, have tried few things the last few weeks and this is the time to be a bit 'extreme'. If it does not work then at least not moaning not doing it 😛

            Fortune favours the brave.

            Maybe Haaland gets a rest.

Me, I'm 70pts behind ML leader, he's the only one I can see who could realistically grab 4+ attacking returns who isn't highly owned.

Got 20pts off him last week, so the great comeback is still on...

      Good luck 🙂

Everton should win, wouldn't be surprised if Forest did as well.

Reckon we’ll know today whether Kane is staying or not - last home game of the season.

Expecting to see him clapping with tears in his eyes after scoring the consolation in a 3-1 defeat.

I’ve rolled the dice guys. Bruno (c). It’s either a mini league winning move or utter capitulation. Excited to find out which!

9.5. Maybe even 10. He has a good record until this year, wouldn't expect his price to plummet.

Because he’s been ill. Unless he’s been ruled out already, he’ll have travelled separately to ensure he doesn’t pass a bug on to other players. Standard protocol. I’m not saying he starts necessarily, only time will tell

I imagine they’ll make a decision as to what part he plays, once they’re in Bournemouth. Ultimately it will be down to how Rash feels and advice from the club doctor. More than likely it was a 24/48 hour bug. We don’t isolate from our families for a week if we’ve had the squits

Royal’s playing so if they make it past 10 mins, they’ll have done well! No idea why he’s benched Porro who, other than Kane, has been their best player lately. #spursy

Is this the BT game because they hadn't had their contractual broadcast amount...

Spurs? Guess they were on a fair amount earlier in the season.

But there are more meaningful games.
