Man Utd v Chelsea team news: Rashford on the bench

Thursday night sees Gameweek 37 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) come to a conclusion, as Manchester United host Chelsea at Old Trafford. A point for Erik ten Hag’s side will secure UEFA Champions League qualification for next season.

Kick-off is at 20:00 BST.

As for the team news, Man Utd are unchanged from the side that started their 1-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday. That means Marcus Rashford returns as a substitute, having missed the past two games through injury and illness.

Meanwhile, Frank Lampard makes three changes from Sunday’s defeat at Manchester City, as Carney Chukwuemeka, Noni Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk come in for Thiago Silva, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Raheem Sterling, who isn’t even on the bench.

Joao Felix, however, has recovered from the minor injury that forced him to drop out of the matchday squad last weekend and starts as a sub.

            I remember years ago Redknapp coming on for Liverpool after an injury lay off. The commentator kept on saying you had to feel sorry for how unlucky he was. My mates starting listing the facts that he was a millionaire, played for a good club, was usually in the England squad, had model looks and he got to wake up to Louise out of Eternal every morning. Yeah, we felt really sorry for him!

        A lot depends on the recruitment this summer. If Liverpool get in 2-3 good quality midfielders they could be in the mix. If Chelsea get a striker who can score then they could challenge for top 5. I think Arsenal and Newcastle will find it harder with more midweek matches.

      As it stands top 4 - 6 race and out of Europe early.

      But if United get a striker like Kane and a Casemiro back up then title race is on

      Arsenal will need maybe 2-3 signings (plus 2-3 better back up/squad players) to just stay at a top4 level, I cant see them challenging for the title next year regardless of what they do in the summer, unless Liverpool and Chelsea continue to under perform, so not in their control
