I would like elsewhere other than Colwill. There is going to be a lot better Chelsea options than him.

I know chelsea may buy another goalkeeper but why is there no talk about a sanchez is a viable asset now that they have bought every defensive midfielder that is available of quality for over inflated prices ?

I think people prefer to double up with Chilwell and James. Tho I am personally considering Sanchez for only 4.5

Presumably cos we're one game week in, and transferring goalkeepers is the last thing on people's minds atm.

Sanchez is definitely an option. Could see myself bringing him in for Pickford next week. But I wouldn't want a Chelsea defensive triple up, so depends on if James is a priority.

Sanchez is an A+ asset now with Chelsea fixtures coming up, but probably not worth a transfer from whomever you have now. I could however see downgrading from say, Onana, to free up 0.5m if needed.

If Samchez gets the nod again for the next few games then he could be thd best 4.5m option

This won't be an esy match based on last night. Pedro on pens (probably) but might be taken off for Fergy?? Mitoma will play most of the match I would think. Difficult but probably Mitmoma - at least he has an available clean sheet point. This decision awaits me, but I also have Mbeumo in the mix too.

Hmm.. Saliba is going to rise tonight.

    A) Gabriel > Saliba straight swap

      C) No

Not so sure about B. Guess it depends on who you already have but I'd like to bring in a couple players from Chelsea or Spurs that week.

      2. Olof Mellberg
        • 4 Years

Yeah B is least likely option. I want to remove any uncertainty in my 11.

        Squad for ref:

        Onana
        Chilwell / Gabriel / Estu
        Salah / Saka / Rashford / Mitoma / Diaby
        Haaland / Wissa

        Bench is 4.0 playing fodder.

I'm just a bit dubious now about Arsenal's clean sheets especially if they start trialling Raya / upsetting Ramsdale. + Arteta said he wants to keep oppositions guessing on Arsenal line up..

Henry gives me 0.5 itb and has amazing fixtures + is very attacking. No CL rotation either.

I know a lot of others are fretting about Bruno, but Salah feels like an issue for me. I have no ability to move funds around (to get Maddison for Mitoma for example) other than by selling him, and he is a really tough player to sell.

Going with martinelli has left in a quandary, I decided to go against Chilwell opting for akanji & no funds ITB
Now I'm 0.1 short of akanji & martinelli to Maddison & Chilwell
Of course I can get Chilwell in GW3 but will have to fund it by either downgrading martinelli to a 6.5 like Mbeumo or salah to a Maddison

    Thoughts?

I’ve brought Alvarez in for a hit (for Watkins), in addition to Bell > Chillwell.

Think he’ll now get plenty minutes, especially as BSilva is also out. That leaves:

Grealish - only on the left wing
Foden - not exactly flavour of the month
Rodri & Kovacic - DM (and maybe Stones)
      Bobb - lol

      Alvarez has gotta play, right?

Mings is basically out for the season so he has to go.
Your next weakest players are Guaita and Eriksen; everybody else should be able to do a job for you.
Taking KDB on waiver at this stage is maverick to the point of being foolish now he is injured. Knowing Pep is a serial liar, it could be maybe just 2 months, but it's not worth it; just get someone else. Especially if you have first pick and new transfers are still being made in real life, e.g. James Ward Prowse or Zaniolo.

thanks! I have tonali that i’m picking up and dropping erikson and wan bissaka for mings. Let me know for this backup tho if i cant get bissaka should i try and get rico lewis or is it to risky since they have so much depth

Those seem like decent moves. 🙂 Wan Bissaka isn't 100% guaranteed to start every game but it appears he is preferred to Dalot so should be a strong pick. Definitely prefer him to Rico Lewis.

    Estupinan Gabriel Walker
    Saka Martinelli Rashford Fernandes Jota
    Haaland Watkins

Turner Baldock Scarlett Kabore - 0.0M ITB

    A) Save FT
    B) Gabriel & Jota > James & 7.5m or less mid (-4 pts)
    C) Gabriel > Saliba

I would do A out of those choices.

for B.. Selling Jota before the game they scored 9-0 last year in seems like a bad move.

for C.. that's really very sideways, but if you want to do it for money, go ahead. I don't think it's worth the transfer though. I would only do it for someone of a different team.

Yes, ironically, Saliba is the one who claims he's still not 100%. So it's funny to me that everyone is transferring out the healthy Gabriel for the potentially still injured Saliba. I'm absolutely not making this move

I already did Shaw to Chilwell before last nights price rise.

Gabriel looks to be dripping in price before the weekend. Saliba & Estupinian due to rise tonight.

Would you take a hit to do transfers this GW so don’t get priced out?

Average start - 71 points if that makes a difference.

Getting that back 3 right over next 2 GWs… It my head it seems logical, albeit a bit sideways and back n forth..

    Estu - Gabi - Shaw - (Cash - Kabore)

FT: Shaw out for Saliba (rise tonight)
Gabi & Saliba double up for GW2
FT: Gabi out for James for GW3 in no price rise before

    James - Saliba - Estu from GW3

Yeah - he is defo one to watch. I think a -4 is a must to avoid price drops this early on in the season and try stay with high % owned players.

I can do Gabi - Saliba, I was just hoping to double up for the GW and avoid a Gabi drop and a James rise!

I have shaw, but mount and Bruno look to have priority on set piece duties

Thoughts on what to do with Timber? My starting 11 is good without him. Defence will be TAA, Chilwell and Estupinan. He likely drops in price soon.

    A) Roll and take the price drop on Timber and make a double change in gw3
    B) Replace now with a different defender (max 5.0)

No guarantees for either as Moyes said both keepers joint no 1 and if Henderson goes to Forest Turner may only have a few games so would definitely want a nailed 4.5 such as Johnstone or Flekken

I'm on WC and I'm currently looking at Sanchéz & Turner.

Flekken could be good, but I think I'll look to rotate 2x 4.5 defenders (Henry and Udogie) - they rotate nicely, and then triple Chelsea def with Sanchez, James and Chilwell.

Turner will obviously play in next GW, but then Sanchéz will take over between the sticks.

      I'm a bit torn between 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 though

Fair enough. I'm looking at Alvarez.

Think the hardest part about the WC right now is, that I want to ditch my Brighton players ahead of the 'bunch'.

Estupinan and Pedro could really hurt me the next two GWs, but If I can get away with it, and if James/Alvarez outscore Estupinan/Pedro in the next few GWs that will really help.
I think a few managers will swap Estu for James/Shaw next GW.
