Was planning on saving FT but United were so poor, and not sure Garnacho gets keeps his place.

    Turner
    Chillwell Gabriel Estu
    Salah Rashford Saka Martinelli Garnacho*
    Haaland Pedro

    A) save FT
    B) Garnacho to Enzo

Having 2 FTs would be nice, but unless I sell salah and shift to 3-4-3 with Jackson or spread the funds, I don't think I would need to make a transfer for GW3.

A random one here, but I have just seen Kieran Tierney playing golf at my club this morning. Not sure usual protocol for footballers in run up to a game, especially as they play on Monday night, but I would be surprised if he was playing golf on Friday before game weekend? Someone may correct me on usual footballer movements!

But could this be a positive for inclusion the of Zinchenko, Tomiyasu or Gabriel....

Golf a couple days out b4 a match couldn't be good for the old hammy's. Tomiyasu is ahead of him too so probably giving the week off 🙂

Actually it could be significant. Arsenal played a behind-the-doors friendly with Luton last night. Zinch started and Tierney was nowhere.
Either Zinc or Tomiyasu will start on the left. With Arteta making clear he picks his side according to the opposition, I think a Back 4 with Gabriel in is quite likely.
Trossard also played and bagged a brace. I can see him starting up top on Monday.

I presume Beyer was your 4.0 bench fodder. If you swap in Gusto for Beyer you are not freeing up any funds - just giving yourself a bench headache each week. Surely moving out a 5.0 def for Gusto to give yourself some funds to upgrade other areas of your team would be more worthwhile?

Bad luck with defences this season or were we all guilty of being a bit blase about the position getting giddy over those midfield options? Hilarious so many are sweating on a 4.0M who probably gets a 2 pointer if he doesn't get carded. You hear all this talk about rotation this and that on midfielders and strikers but the defences are as bad at a lot of clubs. I mean Baldock isn't even nailed on when Bogle gets himself fit. Newcastle signing Lewis Hall if they use him at full back puts the cat amongst the pigeons there, all of a sudden Burn isn't nailed and Burn can play CB too so they are at risk. The only ones you don't really have rotation risks at are the ones you wouldn't touch with a barge pole basically.

Well some are but I don't think that -massively- endangers Jackson's or Colwill's spot in the immediate future. Neither have played a minute yet.

        1. Andy_Social
          • 13 Years

It might deter me from getting Colwill in - he might be rotated in a couple of GWs. Prob still get Jackson if he's still firing over the next couple. But his minutes might be shortened if Broja's introduced as sub.

Jackson's fixtures are so good that you don't need to be overly concerned about an early sub from a player not yet fully fit.

I benched him last week for Pedro (paid off) to have him in for this run.

Colwill is a tad more at risk due to options there, but I agree not necessarily nailed there.

Yes it should be better chances for him. Rashford plays his best fotball when there's space for him to run into. Not good when there's a low block, specially as a striker.

Think the height of FOMO for me with FPL is LIV vs BOU. The temptation with a -4 for a second attacker is there and we’re only the second week in lmao.

Time to hide from FFS and FPL for today.

Bournemouth aren't even that bad, not sure why everyone assumes its going to be 7-0 or something

Think it’s more the GS for Liverpool. Last 10 games vs Bou Liverpool have scored at least 3. Albeit, Bou won 1-0 last game.

Poch said that James' injury is not 'serious' but one to be monitored week-by-week rather than day-by-day.

Pochettino on Reece James's potential return: "It is not a few days, it is a few weeks. The good thing is it is not a big issue." #CFC
