    Best move with 2 FT?

    A) Martinelli + João Pedro —> N. Jackson + Eze (2 FT) (Exact Money)
    B) Rashford + João Pedro —> N. Jackson + Sterling (2 FT)
    C) Rashford + Baldock —> Sterling + Chilwell (2 FT)
    D) Something else

    Cheers!

    Pickford
    Estupiñán - Saliba - Walker
    Salah - Rashford - Saka - Martinelli - Diaby
    Haaland - João Pedro

A for me. Think Joao Pedro has looked good but not going to be a realisable starter. And rather keep Rashford then Martinelli long term for me

The flavor of the week is definitely Sterling. Only a few on FFS may have had him before Friday, but you login six days later, and he seems like an essential pick.

And stick with Mbeumo, if that was the question? 25 points in 3 weeks for a £6.8m asset is outstanding output.

Baldock rumoured to be leaving, Beyer flagged... I would take a hit rather than start a Luton defender, regardless of fixtures. So they're all out for me on WC

I’m actually on a WC, but squeezed a side I feel attached to now:

        Areola - Leno
        Chilwell - Gvardiol - Trippier - Udogie - 4.0
        Sterling - Mbeumo - Saka - Bowen - Maddison
        Haaland - Darwin - Isak

(bench headache sure, but allows me to rotate Bowen around the fixtures)

I was going to say there's so much value in 4.5 - 5m defenders that they make for good 1st & 2nd subs. I have a 4.5m forward instead though. In your case, with the Darwin punt, its probably wiser to have an 8th attacker & the 4.0 3rd bench spot shouldn't matter too much. Baldock probably still my 1st choice if staying, otherwise maybe Kabore for a little attacking threat

Gusto won't start when James comes back. Alvarez is a rotation risk. Son could be Foden or Mbeumo and you can upgrade Alvarez to Jackson, Watkins or Isak. Areola and Leno have a great rotation.

First weeks have been so poor that I borderline lost motivation already, but decided to wildcard and see how things go. I'm currently sitting on this and wondering if this is a bit... stale? Thoughts?

    Areola - Turner
    Cash - TAA - Estupinan - Baldock
    Salah - Mbeumo - Maddison - March - Ward-Prowse
    Antonio - Haaland - Wissa

    1. The Mentaculus
      • 5 Years

      Why Trent?

      1. Mr.K
        • 12 Years
        3 years, 1 month ago

Probably boils down to personal bias, really. Don't want to touch Chelsea because I think they'll start performing worse, don't want to touch City cause I hate pep-roulette, and at the same time I think Liverpool will start performing well and Trent might have a big part in that.

    2. JT11fc
      • 8 Years
      3 years, 1 month ago

Need more explosive picks prehaps? Wissa, Trent, JWP and Antonio seem like players with low ceilings

Id set up a team where it is easy to swap in and out of assets easily, like 8m forwards, 8m- ish mids etc

      1. Mr.K
        • 12 Years
        3 years, 1 month ago

I think that lack of explosiveness is what bothers me too. At the same time, based on the season so far I find it difficult to justify a lot of the higher price tags over these. I mean, sure, Saka's been fine (for instance) but worth the 2M difference? Absolutely not. Of course these sort of differences will start to become more visible the longer the season goes on, and it's hard to predict who can keep going at the moment.. which is why I usually don't WC this early, but here we are 😀

I do have to say that especially Wissa and Antonio I kinda just tossed in, and might prefer downgrading one and upgrading one, committing more to 3-5-2.

I would select both. If I had to pick 1, Bruno over Rashford.

I’d say Bruno has looked the better so far but Rashford back in his natural position now.

    Onana
    Romero Gusto Chilwell
    Saka Ødegaard Bruno Mitoma Rashford
    Haaland Watkins

    Turner Estu Mubama Beyer

    1ft and 0.4itb.

Any advice? Maybe a mid(Ødegaard, Bruno or Rashford) to Sterling?

Looks good but yeah if you want Sterling one of those mids have to go. As you already have Saka I would maybe look at shifting Odegaard.

      Same here.
I'm hoping Everton have just been a bit unlucky. Shots against stat looks OK.
