For people wondering about the Salah price drop thing, it’s probably because of people like me on WC.

I activated last night and sold him, intend to buy him back but of course I’ve loaded in on players that look like rising.

    Jackson +March to Archer +Son? 2FTs

Have no Tottenham attack cover (eg Madds), and Jackson seems to a donkey.

    Rest of team,

    Ederson Areola
    Saliba Chilwell Estu Udogie Beyer
    Salah March Mbuemo Saka Sarr
    Jackson Alvarez Haaland

Man U and Bournemouth are currently good fixtures for attackers. No rush to sell there

How much ITB? I'd consider Beyer to Cash if possible

Does it really matter where Son plays, it seems quite obvious Spurs are going to score a lot of goals this season

Double up with Maddison for the season looks likely

    1. Alan The Llama

I don't think it does, he'll get a lot of chances and, on yesterday's showing, he'll score quite a few of them.

It does matter, the wide players in the front 3 stay wide, no9 and the no8s a lot more central

      1. Alan The Llama
        • 16 Years

I'd be very surprised if they stay wide, width of the 18 yd box, not much wider than that.

    4. KAPTAIN KANE SERVES THE PAI…

Son was barely involved at all in the first 3 so it does matter I think

Huuuge difference. The distinctive thing about Angeball is the wingers stay very wide so the fullbacks invert in an attacking sense. It's the fullbacks, #8s and #9 who will get the goals and assists.

Burnley had no defence. Completely suited his game. Yes he’ll get goals but with next 3 fixtures don’t think in double up territory yet

I disagree with this. Son didn’t look great against Bournemouth when playing out wide. Different beast through the middle especially on the counter.

Tbh I wouldn't recommend that. I know he has 3 goals in last 2 games but both times he was playing RW. Unless he somehow moves OOP long-term, the attacking returns will dry up since the RB role is very reserved (and will probably be rotated between Cash/Konsa) while the LB is more like a winger. Against Everton at RB he had no shots, no penalty area touches. I would either wait til Moreno is fit to start - or, if on WC / have FTs to spare, get Digne & then switch to Moreno in a few GWs.

Some people just always have good starts it seems. I normally start each season very strong, normally top of mini league for quite a while. In the last 8 years or so, I only had one bad start. Later in the season I drop off as lose interest sometimes.

I doubt from your friends point of view its luck, at the start of the season he probably does spend a lot of time on his team selection, and I bet its not that template either.

there's a strong argument to hold in defence until a wildcard or you're burning a transfer.

      both decent picks.

The Spurs fans on the jump the wave had Richarlison starting down the middle.

So even those self selecting for monitoring the line up and formation are playing catch up next time out regarding Son.

        goals at Anfield!

I went the other way because Liverpool usually have the edge over Villa.

Not on normal UK TV either.

I've been over on my goals prediction for every Liverpool game so far but I do think something like this is coming with Villa looking lethal on the counter & no VVD etc

Wildcard first draft. 2.9m ITB. Need changes after a terrible start!

    Areola Turner
    Cash Dias Udogie Gusto Estupiñán
    Bruno Saka Son Maddison Mbuemo
    Haaland Ferguson Archer

Had Diaz and Isak over Son and Ferguson, put the latter two in largely to catch price rises for now. Pick it apart, please!

Turner will lose his spot to Vlachodimos. James is about to return. Cash is a bit of a trap if not playing RW. Ferguson still won't start regularly

It is quite clear, pick defensive assets or a GK to try gain clean sheet points and you lose. City defensive assets and Pep fookery take a step aside.

So that city team leak on Friday was bang on
Do you think pep knows about this? If so surely he'll be annoyed as rivals knowing a team 24 hours beforehand is an advantage as its enough time to react?

Will just complicate the game. Haaland will be capped majority of the time so nothing we can do about it.

No. Haaland is just the best option. You dont change the game because of one player. he will eventually move on and so will we.
