    I don’t have lots of time to spend till Friday so my question is who I start out of Eze Mbeumo or Wissa

    Who would you get to replace Bowen?

    A Son
    B Saka
    C Rashford/Bruno

    Other mids Foden Maddison Mbuemo Sterling

      Saka, i get the temptation for Son but you have Maddi and after this week Spurs have a couple of really tough games so a double up is probably not the best strategy right now, though it would be great for this week

      They are all too close but imo ManU mids are the best buy atm
      I think Arsenal won’t score that many goals in the next 4
      Pick whoever you like from Bruno or Rashford I can’t decide too

      Amazing replies to this, maybe Im missing sonething ?

      No-one suggesting Son, back in clinical form and changed position in very attacking Spurs side against SHU and teams that play a high line

      Vs manu team in shambles players and a meh Saka ?

          Yeah exagerating a bit, point remains...

          Manu in turmoil, positions etc, not clear who the better pick is..

          Saka has been ok, 1 goal 1 assist from op

          Vs a clinical Son with track record after a hattrick vs weakest defence ?

            • 8 Years

            some alternative facts, Son has 3 goals in 4 games but has also blanked in 3 out of 4 games,

            a hattrick against a stupidly open Burnley doesn't convince me that he's better than the others yet

              Lets not forget the single most important factor here; change of position

              Also, we know that he can do this against all opponents, cos he did before

                very true, if i had him this week i'd probably cap him, he's been one of my favourite players to own in the past due to his relatively low ownership and cheaper price compared to Kane

                its hard to forget last season though when he basically got nothing, hattrick, nothing, i guess the fear i have is he will do the same thing again, though if he remains up front that's probably unlikely to happen tbf

                  Yeah fair comment re last season, but I understand he was playing with a hernia issue...

                  Usually when he's on it , its a streak...lets hope he's on a run now

                Change of position because Richarlison wasn’t 100% fit.
                None guarantees you that he will keep playing CF and he was looking very average at LW in the 3 first game

    Current strikers in my team r Pedro, Haaland & Mubama. Planning to replace Pedro this week! Not really keen on Alvarez/Jesus/Nunez due to rotation fears n not keen on getting Morris in too early too. Which option is the best? Will be wildcarding my squad on the nx international break so this striker just need to last me from Weeks 5 – 8.

      There is every possibility he could score or be benched IMO. I shipped him for Archer as I was not going to hold him after GW8 anyway and needed to open up my 5th midfield spot.

          Poch is going to have to do something to get that team scoring goals as he can't afford to lose another game. Drawing not going to help his cause either. Maybe he plays Sterling down the middle. Who knows.

                Sterling will never play down the middle for Chelsea.
                Their setup is grand and creating plenty of chances it's just down to Jackson to start puting them away or he'll be on the bench.
                Plus a lot of their chances are falling to Enzo who is a defensive midfielder, but then that's all Pochettinos fault for how he's setting up his team, if Conor Gallagher had half the chances Enzo had, he'd have scored by now.

      I brought him and Sterling in but have moved both on w/c. Don't want to come out of w/c with triple Chelsea, and I wanted Rash back and Alvarez saves 0.5 on Jackson. Also trimmed Onana and Gvardiol. Good wildcard just need Madds to go up so I can get Morris.

      I swapped Leno for Kaminski on my w/c. Only two games with Leno and I'd be tempted to do it anyway. Might as well save the FT. Fixtures similar too.

      I prefer B but I wouldn't go Trippier. Too much rotation threat and only 2 clean sheets in 22.

        I know, but haaland is the definite pick and then I won't foden or alvarez and I know which ever I don't go for will perform.

        Triple city attack isn't a bad idea, alvarez has been excellent and foden game time almost guaranteed with kdb, kovacic, grealish all injured (and doku not up to speed yet)

          I prefer Alvarez too, got him and Haaland but would not go and add Foden. That is just me though.

      Not that worried. Just recovered from a long term cruciate ligament rupture. He will be eased in with sub apps to see how he can handle the loading. Jackson to Morris will be popular in GW7

          I can understand being caught crying on television is not a good thing.

          Sure he obviously has problems but many footballers do and don't go into the media and say they need a psychologist.

          The only thing which is going to help him is to concentrate on his football. Crying is not going to get him starts for Spurs.

    Best upgrade?
    A) Baldock -> Schar
    B) Baldock -> Cash
    C) Pedro -> Morris
    D) Pedro -> Alvarez
    E) Pedro -> Isak

    I'm tempted by E to have some sort of differential.. but I guess probably A/B is best.

      You are obviously still keen on Chelsea most would transfer them out.
      I think it needs some Villa and/or Newcastle maybe - Cash, Watkins Diaby, Trippier, Schar etc
      Also as you are wildcarding Morris in might not be a bad call just until gw8.

        Yes, thanks for your advice. Thinking Chilwell out possibly/probably, and Trips in as have 2mil in the bank also. I fancy the Bournemouth game to be high scoring though, with Chelsea more than likely to concede

          If you've got that much in the bank, then I think those two benched defenders have to go. Say, Henry and Udogie over Bell and Baldock for multiple reasons...

          I also wouldn't have Szoboszlai over Mbeumo, and I say this as a Liverpool fan

      I don't see any real information here. Poch has obviously got to demonstrate faith in what is his only striker. We know chances come, he gets into positions etc. But until I see he actually finishes those chances, I can't be giving him 'more chances'.

      Reminds me of the arguments for getting/holding Darwin last season, and Werner a few years earlier

      He might come good, yes. But there's no indication that it'll happen THIS week, or the next, or the one after...

      It's a lot easier to know after it's happened

    Evening all

    Some feedback on this if you would be kind

    Good afternoon all

    Any obvious moves here?

    Turner
    Gusto Saliba Chilwell
    Salah Saka Mitoma Rashford Mbeumo
    Haaland Alvarez

    Areola Henry Archer Botman

    0.1 itb 1ft or 215k

    Would’ve been tempted to do rash to son but can’t afford with 1ft and rash fixtures look good next 4 or so.

    Mitoma could possibly go but Bournemouth at home next week seems good enough reason to keep.

    I almost did botman to cash to play instead of Gusto but didn’t want to make the early transfer and now I’m priced out. Plus botman could be back for Newcastles upturn in fixtures.

    Save or am I missing something?

        Interesting idea tbf son has shown in the past how explosive he can be. Not sure I have the plums to captain anyone but Haaland but that’s not saying you’re wrong.

        I’m keeping faith with Salah though 🙂

    Evening all, at a bit of a loss with 2FT and 0.4 itb, any advice appreciated!

    Turner

    Saliba / Gusto / Chilwell

    Salah / Foden / Saka / Mbuemo / Eze

    Haaland / Alvarez

    Johnstone / Estu / J. Pedro / Baldock

    Would love to do Eze > Maddison but could only really do it with exact money by going Pedro > 4.4. Worth it do you think?

    Or go really boring and Johnstone > Leno in case Turner doesn’t play?

    TIA

      Team looks good. I think you should address your keeper situation, you could be in a position soon where neither start.

      With 2FT you might aswell use one now
