What do you all think about Son? Difficult fixtures after this GW.

Depends whether it's a one off or not - challenge is if he doesn't score against Sheffield then looking at the next two fixtures is going to be dire - Son loves a purple patch, ideally i'd like to see more before committing considering the fixtures ahead.

Me too. Both seem like Son games with plenty of space in behind high pressing defences. I wouldn't be surprised if the Sheffield game is the lowest score he gets in next 3

And Liverpool's defence hasn't been the same for a while. But if Alisson has a great day, Spurs assets may disappoint that weekend.

There is more chance of Havertz having a great day than Alisson. That is saying something.

Those differentials in the article are all well and good, but I doubt many will vacate a space in their precious midfield for a cheap punt.

    Chilly - Saliba - Estu

Scraped this draft in with 0ITB and only one gk

Outstanding question - who is the best (and nailed) 4.5m keeper?

    Leno
    Cash, Trippier, Udogie
    Saka, Sterling, Rashford, Maddison
    Watkins, Alvarez, Haaland

    3.9, Mbeumo, Gusto, Andersen,

    1. Thomas Magnum

Not going to stick with Leno? I don’t mind Flekken at 4.5

I like Leno/Flekken rotation but Leno/Areola is also popular - think you could scrape the extra funds together by ditching Gusto who is about to lose his place anyway

Im down to two options in getting Newcastle players in
A: Chillwell and Richarlison to Trippier and Gordon
B: Estupinan and Jackson to Botman and Isak

    1. Thomas Magnum
      • 10 Years

      B. But wouldn’t rush into Isak this week, would rather just the defensive transfer this week, keep Jackson for his fixture then sell to Isak next week

Personally, i wouldn't be bringing in any of Newcastle forward players. I think our form will improve and we'll do well, but there will be a lot of rotation now with the Champions League fixtures. if you get lucky and get the right player in for the right game then there will be points to be had, but it's a big risk.

Defensively I expect it to be more settled. I've gone with Trippier myself now. Trippier, Botman and Schar i'd expect to be pretty secure and won't be rotated (much anyway)

Hey all, thinking of selling Richarlison + Jota. Which 2 out of these 4 would you pick to replace them?
    A) Diaz (gives me Lpool coverage)
    B) Diaby
    C) Mbuemo
    D) guess anyone else up to 9.0 not named Sterling/Maddison

    1. The Mentaculus

See Klopp presser before you decide but Darwin may not be fit & Diaz has history of being rested after IB travel so it might be a good week to start Jota. Rich - Diaby looks good

Some nice picks Arteta - I had all of them down on the long list.

MGW - might be in the Scout Picks, hence not included here
Hojlund - I like him a lot, good pick
Jesus - a bit unsure of his minutes this week
Jota - included him in GW1 so didn't want to write him up again so soon!
      Solomon - now that's a proper differential, 0.2% owned 🙂

I like Solomon a lot, not least because he'll keep Son up front. The problem is how do you look past the Spurs Top3? Maybe if they start conceding like we expected they would before the season started, Udogie will lose his place in our hearts to Solomon.

Hmm depends if you want that extra defender longer-term as you probably won't play Udogie GWs7-8. Don't think you have to be forced into a transfer by Estupinan's fixture necessarily. Also I might consider Saliba - Porro since he's shooting a lot more than Udogie & Arsenal fixtures are turning soon

Trippier is the only one I'd question in the 11.

Then you could improve your bench by picking someone like Saliba, or any other defender other than Trent or Trippier really.

Cash is a v good option but not sure about the other 2 there.

      Good luck.

        Dont you rate Newcastle's defence?

By keeping Trippier i could do Trippier and Son to Salah and 5.0 at some point. Decent cashcow, but that said i do expect a lot from new over the next 5-6 gws

Are we expecting Alvarez to start this GW? I’ve got exactly enough for Pedro > Alvarez
