Our Members Videos continue with another installment ahead of the Gameweek 5 deadline.

This week, audio and video editor David Munday has pre-recorded the video to allow for South Korea-based Andy, otherwise known as FPL_Sonaldo, to put in a well-past-his-bedtime guest appearance in this exclusive video for Premium Members of Fantasy Football Scout. 

Staying up until 1am while David was pouring himself his 4pm cup of tea in the UK, Andy goes into the statistical deep dive behind Son Heung-min’s recent hat-trick, what it means for Spurs going forward and whether or not he can be trusted for a Gameweek 5 captaincy.

True to form, Andy currently has the armband on his compatriot and explains why.

      I'm keeping Rashford, he has returned in his last 2 games and Utd do have 3 home fixtures in the next 4 gameweeks

        Im starting to thing he's a one trick pony. Even Scotland sussed the cut in to the right and curl it thing. Im genuinely not convinced there is much more in his locker just now and MUN are really sour tasting at the moment. Of all the FPL fears I have at the moment, no MUN isnt one of them.

      Only if Botman was unavailable.

      I wouldn’t expect Hall to start for a while yet mind. Howe’s talked about his lack of preseason and it takes players time to break in at the best of time.

    What do people make of Diaby?
    RMT tool projects him much higher than Mbueno.

    Part of me wants to go for him 'cos of lower ownership (need to make up ground). Bigger part of me says someone like Mbueno is a standout better option (proven, set pieces, form all going for him)

      Haaland. Spurs tend to score from all over the pitch whereas a higher percantage of City's goals come from Haaland.

      He's still the most attacking defender in the league, essentially an inside forward sometimes. As long as he's fit and starting, I'm not even considering losing him with those fixtures. Not keeping him after GW8 though

      Could be burnt if he doesnt get many minutes post- long haul flight and Pep roulette but Ive done it as part of a -4 for Madders, Son and Alvarez. Im hopeful he starts and he'll also get good minutes in next few kind fixtures for sure.

      If you have no other issues, then Alvarez might be worth the risk (don't know if he will have limited minutes after coming back from South America). I have Alvarez and will start him, FWIW.

    a) Schar - convincing argument in Spot the Differential article, chance to get ahead of the crowd, but probably rules out getting Trippier later
    b) Udogie - get with the crowd asap.
