    Cheers Zophar.

Good advice and I'd come to the conclusion that Sterling is worth playing. So I'm in agreement.

Hoping for another good weekend but this game can be 2 steps forward and 1 back!

    Have fun.

When performing the backstep just do a 180 first then reverse 180 when finished that way you're always moving forward.

      Yurt.

    Johnstone
    Chilwell Saliba Estupinan

    Haaland Jackson

    Turner; Kabore, Udogie, Mubama

Jackson, Chilwell -> Alvarez, Botman/Schär as the free transfers? Surely I still have a starting goalkeeper this week, right?

Often gets subbed early. Has 4 yellows from 5 games and 1 yellow away from a suspension which at its current rate should be happening very soon.

Wow pretty big mistake by me not getting Botman before price rise...

I can no longer do my double switch of Chilwell + Foden > Botman + Rashford. Priced out by 0.1m.

if you think your team has tough, entitled fans who think nothing is ever good enough , try Marseille for size, who have just rail roaded their sporting director, president , manager plus coaching staff out of town after a nil nil draw with toulouse. Marseille sit 4th in ligue 1 and are unbeaten in 5.

    Final midfield spot on WC:

    Rash
    Madds
    Foden

Would bring in Madds likely for Saka in a couple of weeks either way

      Maddison

      Don't sell Saka

If I were to WC now, my midfield would definitely be:

      Salah Saka Maddison Mbeumo Diaby/JWP

Set and forget for a while. FTs can focus on defenders because their returns are way more erratic and fixture-dependent so far this season, while Haaland, Alvarez and Archer are stuck up top

I don't have Rashford but have the other two. Foden frustrating seems to drop deep not FPL involved. Good in 'real life'

Maddison doing well but two difficult ones up coming .
I expect a Man United reaction in the next two they might not be able to defend but always have goals in them. Rashford the main threat.

Either narrative could be right. Both probably will be considered by RDZ

But note that JP started as a striker here, meaning the spot he started in could be taken by Welbeck (scored on last start) or Ferguson (hat trick on last start)

In a team filled with form players, scoring two pens doesn't exactly lock you in

        1. Jafooli
          • 14 Years
          2 years, 10 months ago

Gotta agree with this, penos aren't 'goals' in open play.

Also worth noting that he won both pens himself with his runs into the box.

It does indeed look like Fati is going to be used in floating 10 role, but he was fairly anonymous in the second half. It seems he still hasn't fully settled into the style/rhythm of the team.

Mitoma had a big part in conceding two goals - poor marking for first, then cheaply giving ball away for third. He looked a bit sh*gged in general.

Ferguson could be back - depends how bad his illness was.

And biggest takeaway was that we're a mess at the back without Dunk.

Eddie Howe on the fixture schedule:

"We are going to have to rotate the squad. We don't want to make, if we can help it, wholesale changes to the team in any one game. I don't think that will do our rhythm any good. Tweaks as we're going along, hopefully then the team will be unaffected but we manage to keep everyone fresh."

Also the cup game against Man City to factor in.

Front three against Sheffield Utd could be Barnes, Wilson and Miggy.

Midfield there are limited options with Willock and Joelinton out. Maybe Anderson comes in, but this game might suit Tonali. Tonali's supposed reaction after the team and bench berated him for not tracking RLC, could maybe impact his selection.

At the back. I'd expect the same back four, unless he makes a change at left back. There will probably be rotation chances for Livramento and Hall/Targett in the Man City game.

    Areola
    Estupinan Disasi Bell
    SalahVC Son Saka Bowen
    HaalandC Alvarez Edouard

    Vicario Chilwell Ahamada Baldock

Not expecting anything from my defence but quietly confident about my attack this GW. No hits taken and no fomo moves this week. Did use my FT on Turner to Areola with my FT. Will see by next week whether to roll or not. If Doku does start this GW I am going to find a way getting him in in the next 2 GW's.

Also do not want to double up on midfields anymore but JWP at only 6.2m scoring over 7 points per game may force my hand. He clocked up 142 points last season so in a better more attacking team, he may well be the best cheapest mid to own this season taking on the 8.0/9.0's.

A, but I'd bench Kaboré vs O'Neil's pretty attacking Wolves and risk a Chilwell start or attacking return as a winger off the bench instead

Remember that Kaboré is also a rotation risk

Thanks for the reminder, I'll prioritize bench depth.

    Onana
    Estu Chilwell Botman
    Fernandes Foden Mitoma Saka Mbuemo
    Watkins Haaland

    Turner Udoige Archer Kabore

    1ft 3.2 itb

Waiting to see if we get any more info on Chilwell in the press conference (could just bench and play Udoige). The more I think about it the more I think Watkins to Alvarez is worthwhile this week. Any other moves?

Bruno to Salah is another move.
