    On a wildcard - worth doing Neto for this week and then changing to Gordon next week or just get Gordon and bench? I hate wasting the transfer and would prefer Gordon for the run of games but Neto has been playing well and plays at home next week.

        With his 1st blank of the season thanks to VAR, Salah isn't worth £12.5; even with a good run of fixtures coming up. Haaland blanking for the 2nd time at £14 with tougher fixtures is non-negotiable and can't be covered by Alvarez though.

      The big choice and 'play the fixtures' against the poor teams each week ... is in midfield, so if I was playing my WC I think I would get Archer up top and play 352 and have decent defenders to rotate with a fifth mid like Neto.

      Raya to Turner to save 1.0m. Areola can be a set and forget so you won't be using Turner past next week. Put those funds towards upgrading a defender to Trippier if possible. Saka isn't useful until GW10 so you can downgrade until then.

            Just scratching my head at the moment really. I have wildcard, I don't think I need it. I have 4mil in cash so I can directly bring someone like Salah in for Rash. But even though I think Rash sucks, I don't love Salah vs Brighton. If I dont do a defender transfer, it might be Rash>Son.

            Or I wildcard, despite my team not being bad per se, but to just freshen it up and get in players like Salah, Son, Watkins etc.

                ye its Mo after all. Just Son with Luton could be a blood bath. Luton were all over the place today vs. Everton. If they try and play a scrappy game like that vs Spurs, Spurs are gonna to destroy them. Might be a 7 goal difference..

          This, totally forget what shirt they are wearing. Focus on them as a player, otherwise all you do is block yourself imo. This rule doesnt always apply however. If its a bad team, then sure you probably don't want a double. But a free scoring top side, its not an issue imo.

              Many are still going on about his price. Denied an assist for a clear goal yesterday and in general Mo looked really good. If the ref and VAR did not feck up the game, Mo likely would have had another double digit haul.

    Why can't they have decent VAR teams? It shouldn't be rocket science. And it also shouldn't be too difficult to teach referees the difference between GOAL and NO GOAL. Human mistakes are possible, but there should be a way to challenge them at least once, just like in tennis or in NFL.

      With tech available, computers could easily do VARS job. I am really not sure why it is not used, when some decisions can cost a team, potentially 300 million (in the case of relegations or winning cups).

    I consider myself a relatively decent fpl player, 5 top 50K, 2 top 10k and a few throw away seasons.

    I have never felt so bad at this game lmao.
    Sitting at about 5.2 mil OR atm.
    These last 2 seasons have been absolutely punishing haha

      This is the first season of FPL which I may finish and have been playing since 2011. Always log off around half way.

      Aiming for minimum 100k which is not impossible.
