On WC & would have to start all 3 each week
    A) Trippier, Digne, D. Luiz
    B) Burn, Cash, Bowen
Already have Watkins so A quite Villa heavy

    on WC:
    A: Porro + Lamptey / Beyer
    B: Udogie + Colwill / Mitchell / Coufal

Second defender is bench fodder. Really want Porro, but would end up with two 4.0 defenders for the bench..

The problem I have with Lamptey is that he doesn't seem to play full games. My spares should be benched always, but I'd like them to at least play if they are needed.

Really want to go 3-5-2 on WC but Alvarez is playing too well right now. Never look a gift horse in the mouth as they say. Plus, the City fixtures aren't actually that bad when you really look at them individually.

Random post but I'd imagine many WC players are having a similar debate

I am on WC and have been watching the WC posts for a few days now. Like 99% of teams have Alvarez in it, so I don't think there's any debating for most.

Also.. with Estu out, isn't Lamptey more likely to play, at least in the shorter term? If so, his price may rise to at least 4.1

Indecisive this week. Just traded Mee for Porro, now my team looks like:
    Pickford, Onana,
    Porro, Gabriel, Estu, Akanji, kobore,
    Saka, Mitoma, Mbeumo, Rash, Gibbs-w,
    Haaland, Alvarez, Morris.

    Do I
A: Mitoma for Son and -4 (avoid price rise)
B: Estu for Udugine/Cash and -4 (Estu inj) or
    C: stay put

I suppose those that have WC'd prior to GW7 have some slither of consolation in that those now WC'ing would love to make our choices but daren't, and will have to use transfers in future to get our boys. Maybe just wishful thinking. Haha!

Hahaha! Yes, that would be fun too, but it's too divorced from the reality of the game really. We feel the pain just as actual managers do the way it is, sort of. Anyway, we'll cope, no doubt 🙂

I agree with this. With an unlimited transfer every week, you'd just have everyone playing perfect fixtures. There'd be very little variance in teams, no worries about injuries, no worries about value.

You would be basically taking half the game.... out of the game.

He went from red to orange and at 50% chance of playing which is positive. Only issue is Eze is out so not sure how that will affect their attack and whether Edouard plays wing with Mateta CF.

Used my 2FT already this week and £0.0 ITB. Actually liking my team over the next 2 GW and was planning on wildcarding for GW10 but now concerned about fielding 11 players with injuries etc. Team:

    Johnstone
    Botman* - Walker - Burn
    Son (C) - Maddo - Rashford - Saka* - Mbeumo
    Haaland - Watkins
    _________________
    Martinez - Estupinan* - Baldock* - Mubama

    Do I:
    A) Estupinan > Cash (-4)
    B) Bite the bullet and WC

    TY 🙂

    Trippier, Cash, Porro (Taylor, Kabore)
    Salah, Son, Maddison, Bowen (Gordon)
    Haaland, Alvarez, Archer

    0.4 ITB

Thanks mate. Would you do Diaby instead of Bowen if declared fit?

No way, Bowen is the main man at West Ham

    Salah, Saka*, Maddison, Mbuemo, Mitoma
    Haaland, Alvarez

    (Turner, Bell*, Botman*, Mubama)

Very similar situation to me. Other than the injuries this would be a pretty good WC draft in itself so I’d probably try push through with a hit or two if neccessary

Shocking... Arteta claims Saka is injured, Saka is actually fit and plays, but gets taken out around 60mins because small knock. Rinse and repeat.

Need to decide tonight: would you WC this team?

    Turner Areola
    Cash Udogie Gusto* Botman* Estu*
    Salah Foden Maddy Mitoma Saka*
    Haaland Alvarez Archer

    *out/maybe out

No. Estu out gives you a team

      Honestly no.

Your team is good. Saka might play, but if not, it's unlikely to be long.

The only thing is your defence. You need 3 playing players. I would keep Gusto, but sell probably Estu. He looks to be out at least a month. I don't know how long Botman is likely to be out.

I believe Botman is back after the IB so just need to deal with Estu.

    Haaland
    Alvarez
    Son
    Maddison
    Salah
    Trippier
    Watkins

Which 1-2 of above would you sacrifice in WC? Thanks

None tbh... Salah maybe because of the price and team you can get without him.

Going to be very unpopular but Braut and Maddison.

Depending on your SV, you can then pretty much have any team you want.

Took out Trent, replaced with Robertson and this is what I can afford with 0.0 ITB plus defence rotates perfectly and bench will always be good.

      Areola Turner
      Trippier Robbo Cash Porro Tarkowski
Salah Son Saka Bowen (choice of 5.5)
      Watkins Nunez Alvarez

    A Play Saliba
    B Saliba to Cash -4

I'd play Saliba even against Man City. I don't think it's worth selling him for a hit.

Don't you have others you could play instead?

          * Defence is Trippier Porro Saliba Gvardiol ( unlikely to start) Kabore

That's an Expensive defence. I would play Trippier, Porro, Saliba and Gvardiol every week.

If you play 3 defenders, I would definitely downgrade one to a 4.5ish... Like Saliba to Burn/Cash/Andersen or something

Thanks- looks like Gvardiol playing CL and Ake PL so not so sure about keeping. Agree Cash would need to outscore Saliba by minimum of 5 points to make a gain so would be relying on an attacking return
