Spurs v Chelsea team news: Udogie starts

An underwhelming Gameweek 11 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) for many managers comes to a close on Monday evening.

The Carlo Cudicini Classic sees Tottenham Hotspur face Chelsea in an 8pm GMT kick-off.

There is plenty of Fantasy interest in this fixture, with one well-owned defender passing a late fitness test to be involved.

Destiny Udogie returns to the Spurs line-up after missing out in Gameweek 10, taking the place of the injured Ben Davies at left-back.

Ange Postecoglou’s other alteration from that 2-1 win over Crystal Palace sees Brennan Johnson come in for Richarlison.

Mauricio Pochettino makes two changes to the Chelsea side that were defeated 2-0 by Brentford in their last league outing.

The fit-again Reece James and Enzo Fernandez are brought into the starting XI as Marc Cucurella and Noni Madueke have to make do with places on the bench.

  The Hot Topic won't appear till after the scores have been confirmed and auto-subs made.
  Mine has certainly been one of the roughs (Romero owner and sold Akanji for Tsimikas).
  Probably the lowest scoring Gameweek of the season so far, with multiple captain failures, but when there are many red arrows there will also be many green ones.

      I mean they could've subbed Son off, and gone 5 at the back.
      But it seems kind of pointless considering you're only 1 goal away from losing/winning the game, against a non-title challenger.
      
      I do see your logic though, Chelsea are well-known to be pretty dire in attack - they probably would've lost 1-2 had they done so which doesn't really do much in the long-run.

Since bringing in Udogie in GW5 he’s amassed a whopping 6 points over 7 games. What an appalling joke of a transfer that was. Possibly the worst of all time. GTFO of my team you bleedin waste of space!!!!

You cannot play that high line with less one and then, dear me, with less two players!! What was he thinking, absolutely ridiculous.

Even 11v11 Spurs are clearly prone to give the ball away in dangerous areas and has defenders that cannot defend, have a defensive IQ of a toad. They don't know the basics of defending, how to protect yourself from runs in behind, dose your tackling etc. Really shambolic, with the game totally under control they just throw it away like that.

Jacksons runs were only effective beacause Spurs were playing a suicidal high line, Spurs high line reminds me of Liverpool it is good for attacking but bad for defending especially when you are playing against teams with fast attackers.

Alvarez could easily haul vs Chelsea and seems to have a lot of sellers. 9 goals in 2 games without a single Alvarez return would influence that however.

  Alvarez xA was almost one, so it was basically his team mates who let him down. My original plan was Haaland to Darwin/Nketiah and 4.4 to Saka (-4), but that would mean keeping U-dog and injured Cash.

      He has some aerial threat from corners, but I remember him always missing his chances. I expect him to be dropped and starting this season with Onana is something I haven't forgotten.

Udogie dropping is not certainty yet. fplstats give now only -94.8% and hub one week. This one needs monitoring, but I expect to drop pretty fast. Perhaps the fact that there is no obvious target slows his sells.
