    Thoughts and advice please. What would you do with 2ft and 0.4 itb, make one or two transfers?

    Maddison -> Eze/Diaby/Martinelli?
    Tsimikas -> Andersen, Lascelles, Coufal?

    Squad right now:
    Areola, Turner
    Cash, Gabriel, Tsimikas, Guehi, Taylor
    Salah, Saka, Maddison, Mitoma, Bowen
    Haaland, Watkins, Archer

      Maybe hang onto Tsimikas and play Guehi, Cash & Gabriel

      I’m going Maddison to Martinelli - I really like Maddison but I just think the move will pay off on the short term.

      Tsimikis to Lascelles and roll the other FT until after Int break.

      Cash Gabriel Guehi/Lascelles is a fine starting

    Areola
    Gabriel Cash Tsimikas
    Salah Son Saka Bowen Diaby
    Haaland Alvarez

    (3.9 Gueihi Archer Taylor)
    2 FTs & 0.3m

    Taylor to Lascalles for free?
    Dont see any other way using a transfer.

    Sell

    1) Cash
    2) Porro

    Buy

    City's fixtures 2nd half of the season are nicely setup. Running without Haaland until blank GW18 and back in by GW19. KDB should be close to a return by then as well. Must say, having a healthy TV is really going to help!

        Same here, also been without Haaland since GW8. My team is looking pretty decent to be honest and don't want to rush and then have have to bench him GW18, which could be massive week for non Haaland owners.

    I’ve got Haaland Salah Watkins Trippier Alvarez Maddison and Saka but I’ve got absolutely no budget plus 2 red and 3 yellow flags. I don’t see a way out unless I sell one of the above 🙁

    I've been looking for a way to upgrade Anderson(NEW) for a while now but haven't had any spare funds, and has annoyingly recently dropped in price.

    With Madders looking to be out, I have the option of doing Maddison and Anderson to Mbuemo and Palmer for a hit.
    I'd be most likely benching Palmer but with Nketiah a doubt, I could do with a decent first sub.

    Question is do I take the hit or just do Maddison to Mbuemo and hope Nketiah plays and make the Palmer move next GW?

    Advice appreciated, 1 FT, 0.2 ITB.

    Areola
    Saliba, Cash, Tsimikas
    Salah, Son, Bowen
    Haaland, Watkins, Alvarez

    (Sanchez, Burn*, Neto*, Botman*, Chukwuemeka*)

    A) Burn* -> Lascelles
    B) Burn -> Maguire (!)

    A would allow a future upgrade of Bowen/Neto -> Saka/Palmer.

    Cheers!

    Ghost team has been holding up ok, even with only getting out 9-10 players in last month or so. Think my lucks run out now, though...

    Chilwell, Estupinan, Botman
    Rashford, Maddison, Saka, Eze
    Joao Pedro

    Chilwell was a stupid decision in hindsight and should have had a better first sub than JP. Was excited to get Estupinan back, but that was short-lived.

    Anyone else doing a ghostie? Way less stressful than actually playing FPL week in week out.

          Gordon for me too as he'll potentially play striker with Isak out and Wilson not fit enough in general.

              Eze flattered to deceive I felt before his injury. 1 goal and 1 assist in 7 games. Gordon 4 G & 4 A this season, playing up front. You know what to do

                • 9 Years

                Eze came back from injury and looking at: EVERTON, luton, west ham, BOURNEMOUTH

                Maybe he aint a firecracker like Gordon, and he has not returned the same amount, but he is still on set-pieces, and I expect him to outscore Gordon over the next 5 actually.

                Gordon is a lovely pick, but with that amount of injuries and europe, then I personally prefers to trust Eze and Palace.

                Also. It has worked out well for me to jump on penalty taking midfielders from the get-go this season and simply ignore the rest. With so many good options out there it feels like sticking a bit longer to the penalty takers rewards you in the end.

                  go for it if you think that highly of Eze but Palace don't score much no matter who they are playing. Awful team. be plenty of more 0-0 too

                      Awful offensively from an FPL perspective. It's not fkn hard to understand.

                      Here, i'll make it make sense for you.
                      Gordon has the same returns as Saka this season.
                      Eze has the same returns as Declan Rice

                      Who would you pick out of Saka and Rice?

                        I think it is very fair to prefer Gordon > Eze, and I can see why, but you're taking it too far making the Saka vs. Rice point.

                        Gordon 0.68 xGI and Eze 0.57 xGI
                        I agree Palace are worse going forward than Newcastle. Both in FPL and IRL, but europe and injuries does also matter to me. Olise on his way back too. The fixtures too, and the fact that this is a game, and I am looking to try to come out on top of it.

                        Going for Eze could prove good or Gordon could prove me very wrong. My team and I will live with it, but it will not be as watching Rice vs. Saka from an FPL point of view in the next 5 fixtures I am sure.

      How many free transfers do you have? Also who is your sun keeper?

      If 2 FT I’d be tempted to either go from Taylor to Lascelles or Turner to a 3.9

      Porro to Saliba and play ahead of Tsimikas

    Start 1:

    A) Porro
    B) Guehi

    Also would you do Madders to Bowen this week? Or hold for 2FT over the IB?

    Areola
    Trippier, Cash, Porro
    Son, Madders, Saka, Diaby
    Haaland, Darwin, Watkins

    Turner. Guehi, Taylor, Chuk

          Because Arteta will kill Saka....or rather finish him off.

      Unless Arteta rules him out yes

    Is it worth transferring Alvarez to Ferguson ?

    Areola
    Trippier, Cash, Gabriel
    Salah(c), Son, Saka, Gordon
    Haaland, Watkins, Alvarez

    Turner, Palmer, Kabore, Taylor

      That transfer might work this week but won’t work in the coming weeks. Would keep Alvarez, nice differential

      Ferg is a risk for minutes. I’d personally go for 5 in midfield and get in a Bowen, palmer or mbuemo (maybe in a couple of weeks)

      I'm looking at this move because I think Alvarez could easily be benched next gw. He plays Brazil on the 22nd. Probably won't be back till the 23rd and they play in the early kick off on the 25th. Funny how Zoph never mentioned that but was determined to put people off Darwin

    Gibbs-White -> Gordon (-4)?

    Would be for the next 3 GWks then switching to Palmer

    Eddie Howe on Callum Wilson:

    “Callum has a tight hamstring. We are doing various tests on him, we will see how he does this morning before making a decision on the game. Other than that, we have no fresh injuries from the other night.”

    Howe said something similar about Botman 3-4 GWs ago and Botman is still injured.

    He even came out afterwards and admitted that he was lying about Botmans fitness. Something about "Well I couldn't say that about him before the match, but now we can confirm he's out for a while".

      Howe is, alongside Arteta, the less reliable manager regarding news on injured players. I wouldnt believe a word coming out of his mouth

    How do we think Newcastle do over the next few weeks? Gordon is tempting but can't help but feel their performances will be affected given the number of injuries in the squad.

    Johnstone (Strakoshara)
    Gabriel Cash Trippier
    ( Lascelles Taylor)
    Son Salah Gordon Adingra Saka
    Haaland Watkins
    2 FT & 0.2 itb

    A- Tisimikas & Alavrez >
    Trippier & Archer

    B- Other Thoughts

    Bench is in ribbons so undecided what to do this week. Keep chopping between ust doing 1 and rolling a transfer or maybe doing 4 and taking a -8! Any suggestions?

    Areola
    Tsimikas / Porro / Cash
    Son / Salah / Saka / Bowen
    Haaland / Watkins / Archer

    Neto / Burn / Lamptey / Anderson

    2FT's, 0 ITB
