People are always saying that team value does not matter now I can get Trent and Bowen and Haaland, and other people are forced to get Brennan Johnson because my TV is 105.6, team value matters when it is Johnson vs Bowen haha, and my rank is 104K atm.

You aren’t meant to have the same team as everyone else to do well at FPL though

A lot of content creators’ (who play safe) ranks have started dropping in recent years because of that. And then there’s someone like Fabio Borges (who btw doesn’t pay attention to team value), who gets comfortable top10k finishes every season

I do agree that over the course of the season waiting until the deadline is better for making better decisions, but that means that information is more valuable than team value not that team value is not valuable.

Nothing behind this Q. Do you think Fabio will get top 10k this year? Looks tough for him

I've got 2FT's, would you do all 3 moves or just 2?

    1. Darwin to Haaland
    2. Cunha to Solanke
    3. Pau to Gomez

If I only 2 do transfers then I will have to do the Haaland next week as price and defensive issues come into play

If you have Porro the problem with getting Udogie is that it prevents for you getting 1 defender and two midfielder, I am coming around the the idea that they are so good at attacking that you want 3 Tottenham all season.

Hey guys, I just need a second opinion on the below team please (I'm playing 433 due to Palmer's suspension).

    Dubravka/Areola

    Gabriel Porro TAA Mitchell /Kabore

    Salah Son Saka/ Palmer Anderson

    Solanke Darwin Watkins

    £2.5

    1ft

    1. Mitchell to Trippier for free and play 433

    2. Saka to Bowen for free

    3. Nunez to Archer for free

    4. Save

    5. Other

    Thanks guys!!!

    Trent - Lascelles - Porro
    Salah - Richarlison - Son - Gordon
    Darwin - Watkins - Solanke

Turner: Eze - Kabore - Taylor

Guehi to Trent (1FT) done. Tempted to captain Trent

If Lascelles misses out, Kabore (Sheff Utd) will come in.
Zero hits so far. Those I have considered would all have backfired!
Rolling next week, then GW21 Son, Salah and Darwin out to Bowen, Odegaard and Haaland - 4.

Right, so an interesting one on that recent Haaland update:

"Haaland is NOT in full training today.

Seems unlikely he’ll play any part against Everton, but here’s hoping"

    https://twitter.com/MCFCTone/status/1738930911847067931

The Instagram account 'fanzonetbmir" (City ITK, ) posted this 7 hours ago:

    https://www.instagram.com/p/C1O1cuhAdiA/?igsh=MXNmNHNxZG13MzRveg==

"The Champions Of The World Now Have 2 Days Off - Before Preparing For Wednesdays Premier League Game With Everton"

If you look at the comments/questions that are in reference to the Man City photos posted today (https://twitter.com/ManCity/status/1738915096359759946), you'll read the following:

    [User]: They are teaining today

[fanzonetbmir]: those are yesterday's picturess dude

[User]: Official club page posted pictures of training with caption "the winning team on Christmas Eve"... and you don't train after 7 hour long flight from Jeddah arrving early morning and train that same day. you are full of shi-.

[fanzonetbmir]: yeah.. photos are from yeartday. Caption is from today. not everything they will post will of happened on that date or there or then.

... so it may be likely that Haaland isn't in full training today because nobody is, and they have Christmas Eve + Christmas Day off (and are the back together on Boxing Day before training before match on 27th.) 🙂

Err yes he did last season? He’s been injured since September so the only away games he has played this season were Brighton and City (both teams who always score ) and a cleanie against Sheffield. Newcastle were the 3rd best away side (points and goals conceded) last season, behind only arsenal and city

In the same situation as you, TS, with WC-1 still in hand.

The timing, I feel, is good in some ways but bad in others. Yes, we will likely have to go without at least one of Salah / Son, as wouldn’t want to book in more than 1 transfer the GW following WC.

Man City, Arsenal, Villa have decent fixtures also that week, so on the other hand some people would not be able to take advantage of those as much as us.

Not really given WC draft any thought yet, but for one GW worth of football, most likely avoid them, else maybe Salah if I was to captain him...

Also, instead of getting Son for GW20, for instance, you could have Richarlison in your WC team which would hedge Spurs for GW20 and be a medium term pick thereafter.

Thinking about it the Salah Haaland team value thing does not really matter if you have enough money to get Richarlison, because you can just get Bowen one week later.

Even if Lascelles is fit he probably doesn’t start. Schar/Botman far better

Nicolas Jackson has more yellow cards(8) than PL goals this season(7) 😆

To think most flocked to him at the start. I'd never even heard of the bloke. Awful fpl asset.

Anyone still under a thousand points? 1009 for me. Hard going. Lots of green arrows but not really climbing much.
