Nunez will haul when everyone else sells so up to you if you want to be a part of it or not

I like (bur, NEW, bou) for him a lot to be fair with a decent break between the games from now on he should play

    On 51 (-4)

Did Haaland and Turner to Watkins (C) and Leno

Plan was to keep Haaland but was too fearful to go without Watkins this week.

Would've rolled played Areola and Archer and Captained Son. Cost me a score of 73 ouch

Surprised with Broja over Mudryk. Further confirms Badiashille is a no-go if interested in Chelsea defence

      1. Ze_Austin
        • 7 Years
        2 years, 2 months ago

Yeah... This is the preferred back 4 of the Chilwell LW era, when Chelsea were keeping clean sheets early in the season

Gusto in for James, but I think Gusto had many starts in that period anyway

      2. Hazz
        • Fantasy Football Scout Member

The only Chelsea defenders I'd go close to are Colwill & Gusto (price).

        1. Tonyawesome69
          • 7 Years
          2 years, 2 months ago

Gusto is fine as a 4th/5th def pick based on price like you said. Chilwell partially back in full team training will likely eat into Colwill mins as I don't think Poch will start him LW. I think Chilwell will only start LB if he plays a CB over Gusto at RB

          1. Tonyawesome69
            • 7 Years
            2 years, 2 months ago

I guess in the Chilwell LB scenario, we could see Colwill LCB.

It's hard to tell what Poch will do. He plays Colwill a lot so imagine he'll still play a lot either way, as he's naturally a LCB anyway. Chilwell will probably be managed anyway. Glut of CBs with two that can play fullback is fun (not).

I've been really confused by his tactical tweaks throughout this season, more so than any other manager I think. Maybe I just haven't been paying as close attention to Chelsea but I really have no idea what he will do next with that defence, especially when Chilwell returns.

I've got 33 on mine, but happy to have those players going forward

I'll soon sell Archer for Haaland though. Starting Gabriel vs West Ham as I don't think Lascelles will start, then Coufal and Areola will be on my bench again vs Arsenal

Been considering this myself but can only afford it if I downgrade a defender and Gordon to a 4.5 and I am not sure it’s worth it. Archer at least returns once in a (very) blue moon. Need to think about it.

Oh! I'm doing this because I get to keep Gordon as well

It's tougher if you're switching to 3-4-3 with a hit, as I prefer Archer to 4.5 mids and there are a few fifth mids who can keep up with Solanke (I think we got lucky with the early Forest red card, making up for the GW17 luck)

              Good luck 🙂

Yeah mate! I have been playing now it’s like 5 moves to get him as a 3rd forward for Archer with a shite defence and a midfielder I didn’t even know existed. Not worth it for me. My midfield is very expensive though: Salah son Saka Bowen Gordon. I suppose for me it’s choosing which of the two forwards I want to keep. Head says Watkins (consistent) but gut says Solanke (flavour of the month). I have a couple of GWs to decide fortunately. Same to you mate!

11 is a good result this week. I’ve got 10 from Gabriel alone and then add Archer’s 8

I would’ve done the same. I sold Areola for Leno for a hit, convinced Fabianski would start (and would probably have had Turner in the playing 11 although didn’t think he’d start either). I think I’d rather have kept a starting Areola and suffer looking at the 8 points on the bench

Saka will be affected by that foul/injury I'd have to think. Tough to push on knowing youve crocked someone. Shame Tsimikas is now out for the duration, always liked him.
2 FTs I have to use for GW19, and not entirely sure that any options are obvious picks.

Genuinely have no idea why people are making a big deal about that challenge.

It was a 50/50, Saka slipped and Tsimikas got hurt in an unfortunate accident because Klopp was there.

Saka didn't do anything wrong and people making out like he deliberately caused the injury.

Tsimikas's shoulder/collarbone is down on the floor before he even hits Klopp. He just takes out Klopp on the follow-through.

People who keep saying it's because Klopp there really need to watch the replay.

I think a 50-50 is a bit too kind to Saka. He's last to that ball & it's not even shoulder-to-shoulder like he said in interviews, he takes out Tsimikas with his hip.

FYI not saying it wasn't an accident. Just that it was not a good challenge at all.

Why on earth should he be affected by that accident?

      1. JohnnyCroat

Because it caused a serious injury, not because it was a bad challenge (which was clearly not at all what I suggested).

What would you do here with 2FT? Haaland fit? I saved the transfers and money for him and TAA as cash cow, but now I’m not sure..

    (2FT, 3.5 itb)
    Dubravka (Turner)
    TAA/Porro/Gabriel (Mengi, Pau*)
    Salah/Son/Saka/Richarlison/Palmer
    Watkins/Solanke (Archer)

Turner > Areola and roll (rotates well with Dubravka)

      GW21: Son > Bowen

Weird that all of the top managers we have had all rated Gallagher.

I don't think he's an absolutely perfect fit for the way we want to play but he is a very good player. Poch loves him.

Some of us are considering selling Salah ahead of Newcastle to buy Haaland (C) ahead of Sheffield

Could backfire due to Newcastle's away form, but that's my tentative plan anyway

Also allows a move for Richarlison or D. Luiz in GW21 before selling Son in GW21, as they have easier opponents than Salah
