Interesting point …… if Liverpool do not get a DGW25 …. They could get a triple game week as they would only have two midweeks left to slot in their postponed games …. Small chance but a triple captain Salah for 270 minutes …… hmmmmmmm

No chance a returning from injury Salah plays all 3 games. Take your point though.

Ah sorry, got a bit keyboard happy. Still not sure he would play the full 90 mins in a 3 game week though, that said he would be my TC.

If I recall, the last triple game week, no one played more than a double. And all the popular captain picks were rested for the "easy" fixture....

Do I need Jota or Rich for -4? Would lose Diaby

Scary not having either but would also give me a bench issue this week:

    Areola (Dub)
Porro / Saliba / Trent / Estu (Baldock*)
Foden / Palmer / Gordon / Saka (Diaby)
    Solanke / Watkins (Archer)

KDB (10.6m) & Gordon (6.1m) to Foden & Richarlison leaves me with 0.0ITB and I have a feeling this set of transfers might just be possible this week with KDB most likely to rise this window or definitely before the next one.

Is a -4 worth this transfer? Should I go with it?
Any other shoutouts against Gordon? I feel his coming fixtures are pretty decent.

My current team is this with 2.0 ITB
    Leno (Dubravka)
Porro / Gabriel / Estupinan (Gusto / Bell)
    Saka / Foden (C) / Jota / Richarlison / Palmer
    Toney / Watkins / Haaland

Aren't most people moving Foden to KDB? As a Foden owner, I suspect he'll get pushed wide with the return of Kevin and Erling where is is less effectively and more likely to share game time so I am not looking to hold for too long

Confused me reading that until i saw your current team section to see it was actually KDB and Gordon you were looking to get in!

Don't think its worth a -4 this week no. Foden should smash this week and Spurs are home to Brentford, so Richy prob a good shout to keep too. I have the same midfield as you as is, except I have KDB instead of Richy. You are pretty set up for the coming weeks, maybe kick Richy on their blank GW, but he is prob a better hold than Gordon right now.

      1. TochanMama
        • 13 Years

Honestly, that's the whole reason for this dilemma. Richarlison definitely has a better fixture this week so keeping him makes absolute sense.

This whole last minute panic is because of KDB's eventual rise coming at us most likely by tonight if not in the next couple of days. And then I won't be able to get him without making some unwanted changes.

Alvarez seems off the boil recently - not returning heavily (2 goals in his last three, but a huge drought before that) and probably more at risk of having minutes cut by them blokes returning from injury

    Trippier > Estu?

Expect Trippier to now start, and he does have great fixtures after Villa (Lut, Nfo, Bou)

However the extra funds will allow me to get both Haaland and KDB next week as opposed to just one of them.

    Worth it?

After a hhell-i-day from hell and a forced hos[itlisation where they had thw wrong diagnosis (and i made he right one), and healcare bills running into 5 figures, which i will fight or they will drop had to do my ec20 under sedation and missed gw21 for free 2FT. So out of the loop a bit.
    2FT .7m ITB
    Raya (Turner)
Moreno, Porro, TAA (Estu , Gusto)
    Bowen, Saka, Palmer, Foden (Salah)
    Alvarez, Watkins, Solanke.

May bring in Eze/Olise for Salah this week instead of Richallison means a -4 for KDB/Haaland with Foden), Palace can only play attacking football with both Olise/Eze fit and helps 26 a bit but love Spurs fixtures.

As I can do Alvarez to Haaland next week, and Saka to KDB if things are looking good GW23,or 24 which would also be Watkins to Darwin I guess or Bowen to Jota depending on what Salah is doing.I guess

Or just get in Richarlison. I plan to have sell TAA/Darwin or Jota GW26

People who are contemplating benching Palmer, just remember last time lots of people benched him, he hauled by getting assisted by the opponents infront of their own goal, he then assisted a teammate with a 1m pass who dribbled passed an awful defending team and score at the near post and scored a decent goal at the end.

So just think about what Pool defenders will do against him.

You can’t bench someone with 10, 18 and 14 in 3 of their last 4 against ANYBODY.

Then there is people doing Gordon (no blank) > Jota with Chelsea and Arsenal and a blank which just seems a bit sideways, not checked predicted points though.
