There is not so much between Darwin and Jota, Darwin has better underlying numbers and he gets more minutes and a lot of chances even if Salah plays. He is wasteful and difficult to watch, but on his day ok.

Would you change anything here or just save the FT?

    A) Gross > Richarlison/Foden
    B) Estupinan > ??
    C) save

    Areola
    Trent Porro Gabriel
    Kdb Jota Gross Palmer
    Haaland Watkins Solanke
    (Turner Garnacho Estu Gusto)

Guys need help, How you would navigate 25,26 if you are in my shoes? 2ft, 3.1m itb.

    Areola Dub
    Porro gabriel taa konsa* taylor*
    Saka gordon* palmer foden richy
    Haaland watkins solanke

    A) Darwin jota for solanke gordon. But then I will only have 9 players for 26 even with a hit.
    B) Alvarez jota for solanke gordon so that I can have 10 with a hit.

  5. ct mariner

    1FT and 9.3 IB

    Areola
    Estu Porro Gabriel
    Saka Palmer Foden KDB
    Watkins Solanke Alvarez

    Dubravka Tavernier Andersen Bell

Thinking Alvarez to Haaland with FT.

Worried about no Liverpool (Jota) - anything worth a hit or wait until next week and maybe do -4 for Palmer/Defender to Jota/Bradley?

Haaland in now, then perhaps Saka to Jota (-4) this week unless or even if you sell Solanke for Darwin (-4). It's a gamble, I know.

Will you bring Kaminski for a hit?
I have Martinez but Kaminski will have two DGW and he is cheaper. In 26 I will play Areola.

          I'm not sure

Guy says not to double up on their defence fpe the doubles

Kaminski seems a really sensible option at this stage

I'd consider doughty based on the rest of my defence ahead of their dgw

2.9mitb. Thoughts on Solanke and areola to darwin and kaminski - 4

May as well get luton keeper ahead of Sheffield and his doubles. Will buy back solanke for his double

These moves leave cash for saka ro kdb if i want in gw25 (tough call)

Alternative is gordon to jota. But this closes off kdb option and want darwin

    Dubravka (areola)
    Taa porro gabriel (estu taylor)
    Saka foden richarlison palmer (gordon)
    Haaland solanke watkins

Nah not for a hit, can see goals - I don’t think DGW keepers will be popular with high scoring games recently, would rather use transfers elsewhere. If you have everything all lined up for 25/26 with FT spare then possibly

  10. aapoman

FH26 starting to look more tempting. Could bring in Doughty, Adebayo and Salah in for free which leaves me with just 6 players starting in bgw26 without any transfers. Then keep Luton assets for dgw28 and make moves to cover bgw29 from gw26 onwards. Sound decent?

    1. NZREDS
      • 12 Years

Sounds decent but keep in mind they are going to be other fantastic FH opportunities later down the line. A lot will rather opt to field 9/10 than use it but depends on your teams of course

I mean I could not use it but that feel like it might be better to use it now to gain short term advantage due to recent information. We should be able to know the later dgws and bgws much more in advance so easier to prepare for those earlier

How important is KDB at expense of Saka? It's the only way I can afford him because don't want to downgrade Watkins, Richarlison. Other option is to ignore him for Walker along with Haaland+ Foden I already have but Mcity don't do many cleansheets...

Are we going to have small blank gw around 32-37? ( fa cup semifinals)

    Guys

With this attacking line up and carrying 2 FTs, does a move of Solanke to Cunha, then onto Adebayo make most sense?

    Foden Saka Palmer Gross Jota
    Haaland Watkins Solanke

Only 0.1m itb so I can improve my defence a bit for a BB soon (core picks of Martinez Trent Walker Porro).

    1. The Mentaculus
      • 4 Years

Both good options but I'm not clear on the transition point. Wouldn't you want Adebayo now for SHU & DGW? You could probably make a case for getting both even.

Do you know which GW you're aiming to BB?

      1. AC/DC AFC
        • Fantasy Football Scout Member

        Good points as always.

I was loosely thinking Cunha till gw27/28 and Adebayo from gw28.

It would be nice to have Adebayo against Sheffield United but the next 3 2 games and the blank probably rule it out, for the first double.

They's probably my mistake when he scores against Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.

I just want to be in a position to BB soon ish so need to improve on Turner on my bench really.

Thoughts on Saka and Watkins to KDB and Darwin?
Really want KDB and see no other route then losing Saka.

    2FT 0.9 ITB

    Dubravka
    Porro TAA Gabriel
    Foden Palmer Saka Jota
    Solanke Watkins Haaland

    Areola Gordon Colwill Lascelles

I think I'd do the Saka move, but I concede he is a very useful player to have through BGW26 & BGW29 if you're not planning to play a chip.

Think you're right to just bench Gordon.

Out of curiosity though, can you do Gordon/Watkins > KDB/Adebayo?

I really don't love selling Watkins yet though. Form player in form team. Tonight will tell you if he plays BGW29 or not, too.

I don't think it's too possible but Palmer and Chelsea probably struggle after this GW...

Don't like losing Watkins as well, could do Solanke to Darwin and reverse this move in 26 but that means no KDB 🙁

Personally I’m keeping Saka and Watkins. Have had both from day 1 so have value tied up but regardless they are both nailed and in form for teams that score plenty on their day. Saka > KDB could well pay off but Saka has Burnley in the double week and KDB could have minutes managed so I’d be inclined to stick rather than twist on that one

If team going into it after GW24 was this

    Areola (Dubravka)
    TAA Doughty Gabriel (Porro Taylor)
    Saka Foden Jota Palmer Richarlison
    Watkins Haaland (Solanke)

    With 1 FT, would you

MCI v Everton is the early game!

I have never successfully Captained for the early Saturday game. I usually get a fat blank and then spend the weekend watching rivals make ground on me. Son versus Luton was the last one. Had brutal 1-pointer from Kane versus Swansea. Many others. Aguero 2-points versus Burnley.

But that time I purposely picked against the obvious Early Game. I got torched by a Salah 15 point game.

Somebody is going to pick the correct Pool hattrick maker ... Darwin, Jota, Luiz, or some Dutch kid with Gapko.

Luton is so spicy, those boys probably win both games.

Obvious to like Solanke but Luton can score on anybody
