Given TC Haaland will be quite popular this GW, really giving a thought if using the chip will be worth it to try gain rank. Might just save the chip for later incase City get another DGW/Salah gets a DGW.

Before you go all differential on yourself, consider how many points Haaland will get. If that doesn't impress you, by all means proceed.

It was Cardiff (100%) and Bournemouth (I think...). Both at home. Lost them both after Hughton decided to play 11 men behind the ball.

Could also work, and when Solanke is on a hot streak (and they are good fixtures) he would be more than capable of being a good TC choice, but he doesn't have the support around him that Haaland has to help him score. Salah could be fine, but he's not often injured so how he comes back and stays fit is still an open question. But Haaland in a double game week is as good a chance as you get to rack up some points. And (as some poster reminded me) I remember the TC Mane and Dunk disasters. So I'm tempted to use it and it's done. Good luck with whatever call you make!

This game is week to week but chips are really counted over the season.

So it doesn't work like that.

60 points next week is better than 45 points on a lower owned player in another week.

Of course if you can pick a higher scoring captain to triple then that's better for you.

Think this will be my team come GW28 when I’ll TC Solanke:

    Areola
    Moreno | Udogie | Doughty
    Salah | Son | Foden | Palmer
    Haaland | Toney | Solanke

    Flekken | Barkley | Gabriel | Reguilon

    4 moves away atm:
    Jota to Salah
    Alvarez to Solanke
    Trent to Moreno
    Trippier to Udogie

    BB next week!

Pickford is the value player of the season so far with a score of 20. Not sure how it's calculated?

Palmer, 5.9m, is second on 19. For me similar to Grealish at Villa. Top FPL dog in a poor team.

Don't sell him. Haaland or Salah had a BGW you'd bench them. I honestly think if Palmer was >8m he'd have a higher ownership, people equating low price with low returns. If he gets loads of points from penalties so be it. Gordon and himself are two great picks this season. Their teams don't need to be doing great for them to get you decent points.

Tbh I'm struggling to find much enthusiasm for any defenders atm. Unless we get good news, I'll probably be selling Trent & going into 25 with all SGW defenders (but 6 DGW attackers). Also have a bunch of holes at the back in my WC27 draft. I think Robbo is a good shout actually longer-term with all the uncertainty around TAA/Bradley

    4. The Tonberry

5 outfield players blanking in GW26 and all your midfielders except Richarlison will be blanking unless you FH.

If you're wildcarding now, I think you're better building a team that wouldn't have to FH soon after or would result in having to take many hits so soon after. That's not even factoring that you'd most likely want to have Solanke in for DGW28 who is blanking the following week.
