The one likely to play CF and on pens

Fair point, you think Hwang in likely to play CF in behind Cunha?

Groß, Hwang or Garnacho. Who do you prefer?

Looking back in previous games, it's seems Cunha and Hee Chan alternate playing CF/LW.

Hee Chan on pens swings it over Neto imo.

How many GWs are you looking to keep the midfielder for and when do you him to start?

Yeah I like Neto alot and very consistent but his ceiling is lower with assists not goals and penalties for Hwang appeals more.

It will be starting in GW26 with Wolves (h) to Sheffield United and happy to keep for the duration based on fixtures or until I wildcard later on.

Make sure you aware of who blanks in 29. Keep an eye on Wolves team news as Hee Chan didn't make the squad at the weekend

I think its similar to ADZY below.

It means I can BB in 30/31 with a weaker bench, this will allow me to invest a lot of cash in my starting 11.

Expect Klopp to keep the faith faith with Darwin after last pen missed, same as Salah.

But wasn't that pen given to him to boost his confidence when they were winning comfortably? Maybe at 0:0 Mac Allister would have taken it?

Not really disagreeing with you, just thinking out loud & trying to make sure.

Darwin took a pen v LASK in UEL, and another in preseason I think. The one v Chelsea was the first he's missed out of 13. Agree with Tony that he's likely to remain the taker

        2. Tonyawesome69
          • 7 Years

I wouldn't say 2-0 was winning comfortably when he missed the pen. His record was 12/12 before that pen.

Fair enough, thought it was at 3:0. I know Darwin is good at pens, only wasn't sure if he's the default taker or Mac Allister.

    Udogie - Estupinan - Moreno - Gabriel - Schar

    1. agueroooooney

You should make it clearer who is on the bench, or if you are using BB

  12. Tonyawesome69
    • 7 Years
    2 years, 2 months ago

    I have seen a few posts from folks comparing BB25 v TC25.

You should be predicting the points scored for that specific chip played in one GW versus another e.g. TC 25 Haaland v TC28 Solanke or BB25 v BB34/37

    1. JAC THE CAT
      • 12 Years
      2 years, 2 months ago

You also need to factor in what that bench would look like.

Some have a strong bench in GW25 that is ready to go now. This would also allow you to have a cheaper bench when you wildcard later so you can invest more heavily in your starting 11.

If you wildcard in GW30/31 to bench boost in 34/37 that could take some navigating with injuries or rotation.

      1. Tonyawesome69
        • 7 Years
        2 years, 2 months ago

Sure, part of the decision process when comparing BB25 to BB in another GW

    2. Tonyawesome69
      • 7 Years
      2 years, 2 months ago

When I look to BB in a double, I set the bar at 16 points (2 points per app). If you think BB in a SGW can at least match that then it's worth considering imo

        • Fantasy Football Scout Member
        • 10 Years

I would take a 10 pt BB in a SGW to just get it out of the way and be able to invest more heavily on my XI come WC / GW37

        1. Tonyawesome69
          • 7 Years
          2 years, 2 months ago

The counter argument is there's good value options available this season and you can get good scores when you time it right. Also we tend to see more rotation towards the end of the season e.g. league could be over and preparation for cup finals

          1. ryacoo
            • Fantasy Football Scout Member
            • 10 Years

Yeah, plus, I'm thinking in GW37, we may want all the big hitters - Salah, Son, Haaland, maybe Trent, etc. and skimping on the bench, maybe a non-playing 5th defender, can help there

    3. theplayer
      • 12 Years

I made the mistake last season of bench boosting when Salah had 2 good home games. Not making the same mistake again when it's Haaland.

Means a -4 to get VVD out for a Villa defender in GW26 though.

    2FT 0.4 ITB

Best defender 4.6 or under to sell Porro for?
    A) Pau
    B) Senesi
    C) Reguilon

Success criteria is getting some points BGW26 and freeing up funds for Jota. DGW’s and potential to be in my starting XI are a bonus. Otherwise perfectly fine rotating him with Maguire/Branth.

Good morning, afternoon and evening (depending on your location 🙂 )
I have a dilemma and hoping you can point me in the right direction. My choice this week is to either B/B or triple C
    My team is as follows:

    Dubravka (Bou H)
Gabriel (Bur A) Porro (Wol H)
    Robertson Bre (A) Lut (H)
Gordon Bou (H) Saka Bur (A)
    Foden Che (H) Bre (H)
    Jota Bre(A) Lut (H) Watkins Ful (A) Darwin Bre (A) Lut (H)
    Haaland Che (H) Bre (H)

Bench: Areola NFO (A) Groß SHU (A) Ake Che (H) Bre (H)
    Branthwaite C/P (H)
I’m currently being swayed to the B/B but any replies will be greatly appreciated 🙂

Yes there was, the advice was to clearly avoid the best option.

If only there was an algorithm that gave me the percentage likelihood of him playing both games next GW!

Downside so big if your differential blanks and the obvious delivers.

Just pick a differential who will outscore the obvious choice. I think that was the key part to the strategy being suggested!

Nah, that was a community article from FPL Virgin which a fair few pushed back on.

There's probably still comments there under the community link.

TC is the simplest chip, stick it on a guy who you think has two chances of scoring and a great chance of playing in both games in a dgw.

Remember when aguero limped.off 30 minutes into the game v Cardiff when everyone including myself TCed him? Haaland feels like the best option though

% chance of players starting both fixtures in the double according to an algorithm I created (rounded to the nearest 5%), might need some tweaking though. Thoughts?

    Doughty 95%
    Barkley 95%
    Adebayo 95%
    Toney 95%
    VVD 95%

    Haaland 90%
    Jota 90%
    Aké 90%
    Diaz 85%
    Reguilon 85%
    Darwin 80%
    Walker 80%
    Alvarez 80%
    Robertson 75%
    Foden 75%
    KDB 70%

    Doku 40%
    Bradley 40%
    TAA 20%
    Salah 5%

85%, could be better value than VVD if you're happy with slightly less guaranteed minutes

Pending KDB comes through unscathed tomorrow night is it worth doing:

Trips & Gordon to KDB and 5.2 defender for a -4?

I already have Foden, Jota and Darwin for the double. Otherwise I am tempted to roll.

Massive impact on Villa CS imo

Still a big loss with the role he plays when he drops deep to cover attacking FBs

Does anyone think a bench boost this week of Gordon, Burn, Branthwaite and Areola is worth it? All look like decent fixtures, Bournemouth, Palace and Forest

    Shall I:

    1) Keep Adebayo for the DGW25
    2) Cut my losses and bring in Hojlund
    3) Do Darwin > Hojlund in GW26

    Current team:

    Areola Dubravka
    TAA Doughty Gabriel Udogie Lamptey
    Richarlison KDB Foden Jota Palmer
    Darwin Haaland Adebayo

Before anyone mentions it, yes, I will have a lot of blanks in GW26, but I am considering a Free Hit.

Thoughts on these moves for a -4 please?

Trent and Palmer out for VVD and Jota

Have exact funds and could be priced out tonight if Jota rises. Trent a risk but could be injured or get reduced mins anyway.

    Thanks

    Two questions/

Bench one of Gordon, Gross or Watkins?

Play Porro or bring in Reguillon for Konsa and start him?
