        It is impossible to know. Current projections are based on FH transfers. If many bought Salah today you just would not know before tomorrow.

      Counterpoint. If I wasn't going to free hit this week I'd probably still have Reguilon, Doughty, and Morris in my team, but I'd have done worse over the last few weeks as I spent all my transfers getting them in.

      And at least I don't have these garbage assets on my team going forward.

    Not going to hindsight anyone - FH was the right call for many (probably most) teams, the selected players who all blanked were the right calls given available info.

    So here’s a foresight one - I don’t get why every FH has Watkins. He’s got a laceration on his leg from Thursday. Good chance they can’t keep that closed 3 days later? Fixture is good but not a standout. Forward was/is the area with maybe the most options on a FH, or could have gone 3-5-2. Just seems like an opportunity to differentiate that wasn’t considered enough.

      He's the top scoring player in FPL and is super highly owned.

      If he's injured, FH'ers win anyway because they have a playing bench to cover him. If not, he does just fine and the fixture is decent as well.

        He’s the top scorer player in FPL but FH is a one week shootout. This week was Watkins with a dodgy leg a clear better shout than Toney, Wissa, Morris, Muniz, Fofana? Not at all IMO

        Also he plays or you get your bench… or he starts and has to sub early.

        Finally caring about a player being super highly owned on a 1 week FH is just lacking courage in your convictions IMO. Pick the players who you think score the most points. Could be Watkins this week, but was a good chance to consider betting against. Won’t be another.

      Yeah but you’d imagine he either starts or is not able to feature. As you said it’s a laceration not a fitness issues. So on a FH your first sub just comes in if he doesn’t play. Watkins has 3 double digit hauls in a row away from home.

        I thought it from the beginning really but figured the Spurs triple up and a few other decent picks like Bowen would make it worth it given we should have enough time to plan for 34/35/37. The Reguilon red after 4 minutes isn't something you can plan for and completely screwed 3 players.

      Pondering doing the same tonight and doing KDB + Solanke > Salah + Muniz to leave me with the same front 8, but have 0.5 to play with.

      If you will be priced out and have no other option to afford it then I personally would, Salah is needed, and both Muniz and Salah have SHU in 30 and 31, happy days.

        He is pretty much, it’s just that pesky Watkins can score against anyone, it’s a tough choice who lost out of Watkins and Solanke.

          I scored 10 from 8 including captain, just got to laugh, it’s as though some teams today all huddled together and said “shall we just sod today off lads? Sorted” 🙂

      why would a disastrous free hit encourage you to wild card sooner?

      I plan on holding mine to set up the biggest BB possible.

      My team will be well set by next GW onwards so delaying the WC (which I had originally planned to use in 31), may just use it to set up well for the doubles and BB when we k kw the doubles.

      For me he was, I just don't get the Toney hype nor how the content creators all jumped on the bandwagon. There's been nothing recently from him to suggest any uptick in form.

          Not in the slightest. Had had an xGI of over 0.5 once since his return. Anyone who's watched him knows he been dropping deep.

          Wasn't a no brainer, granted, but Muniz has been in form and Fulham have been decent, especially at home.
