Last minute switch from Garnacho, Isak to Gordon, Solanke.

I think it was the right choice. I think

In fairness though I don't think Lascelles, at 3.9m, who would remain on benches until 37 when he would double was a bad choice before he got injured.

Yeah the mistake isnt picking Lascelles, its thinking you can wildcard in a bench boost 37 team 7 weeks in advance.

FT's can be used in the meantime and you're making the mistake of thinking that bench boosting in 37 was a major reason for wildcarding this week.

He's a high energy, direct player. Got a bit of snide in him. Doesn't let up and seems pretty durable. He'd fit well in a Klopp team. Playing against LFC, he's a rat-faced so and so

    4. nerd_is_the_werd
      • 5 Years

In FPL he is decent, for that very reason he takes a lot of shots.
In footballing terms, that isn't so beneficial for the team.

He has pace, but don't think he has has the natural ability to construct an attack when he receives the ball deep, nor in a forward position when he's expected to dribble past players.

Gordon does score a few goals here and there, but when he doesn't it can be a detriment to the team.
Same can't be said for Foden, Grealish, Palmer who play in a similar position.
