If all fit, who are you benching?

    Son/Foden/Bruno/Gordon/Palmer
    Haaland/Isak/Jackson

          Fair

But people who pick him on a wildcard will defo play him into a double in case he scores!

Gordon - not as effective away from St James Park. Plus Burnley are fighting for survival and this home fixture is must-win.

It's not close for me. Jackson benched.

Newcastle are playing for European spots against one of the worst defenses in the league.

I also favor benching strikers if the decision is close since they get fewer points for goals and no clean sheets.

But nailed on for BAPs if they score.

They (in general) maybe are but we talk about Jackson, he's often offside, wastes so many big chances and likes to foul (he was banned or close to it for yellows this season already), he is not a BAP monster.

After all the moaning I did last week, it's only fair to say congratulations and well done for getting the Haaland call right in this week's predicted line ups. It was an incredibly difficult decision based on the information available, knowing whether he would start or be benched, but they got it completely right.

        A - Maguire

No need to transfer Ederson this week if Petrovic (WHU) is your second keeper right?

Looks doubtful Ederson will return before the end of the season if hes in a sling, however would be painful if you bring Ortega in this week and Ederson returns for either game in 37.

Depends if your BB37 as its ultimately

          Bruno x 3 fixtures
          Havertz x 2 fixtures

However if you captain Havertz and it pays off you're laughing!

Only risk really with any Arsenal player is if they drop points in any of their remaining games and city do not, the season could be done after 36 or 37 ends.

          Lots of ifs and buts.

Want to leave an encouraging anecdote for the managers chasing.

          In GW31 I transferred out Foden (20) + Odegaard (11) for Havertz (5) + Salah (1) -4

I fell behind my ML rival by 39 points. I thought my chance of turning it around was slim since we had the same remaining chips.

Fast forward to GW35 and I'm now ahead of said rival by 15 points. 54 points made up in just 4 weeks. I'm not even that extreme of a case. I have another rival who has made up 72 points on me in that same time period (with an insane FH29)

Point is, you can turn around even some big deficits. 3 weeks to go and if you have a BB there is still a big opportunity there to climb!

I'm at 44k and it's quite close in my ML (about 30 points across the top 5 places and I'm currently third).

Trouble is, we all have very similar teams and the template front 7 is very strong for GW37, so it's hard to make gains.(No BB left for me).

Everyone owns Garnacho so I'll swap him out for KDB and hope that closes the gap.

Classic chasing dilemmas. With 3 GWs to go, similar teams and everyone likely to draw the same conclusions about the Dgw, then the key thing for you to remember is that predictability of your opponents lineup is the key information you have. You already know their likely teams, and probably likely captains too. You are right in looking for a differential, and I would also suggest that you choose to make a captain your differential.
If you pick the same teams for the next 3 weeks you have no chance of winning. But if you have key differentials and ones you intend to captain then that is maybe 30% chance. Good luck

              You don't need that much.

Tracing my doppelganger's moves showed me that you can make gains even without having a vastly different lineup. We basically had 11/12 the same players from GW8-GW32. Only 1 player different and a differential captain, and he gained 36 points on me.

3 weeks left okay you'd maybe need a bit more but not drastically so.

If you're chasing, I'd use captaincy as your differential and find maybe 3 or 4 spots to find an edge. You don't have to start picking up guys like Harvey Barnes or Adingra to make up anything less than 50 points.

Probably the top picks for defenders right now.

Senesi does clearly offer goal threat.

          Raya Pickford
          Gabriel Branthwaite
          Saka Bruno Gordon Palmer Foden
          Haaland Isak Mateta

          Flagged on the bench

          ... RAN Gusto Bradley

BB left and £7.7m itb, 1 FT.

Should I spend the £ on KDB or someone else, if so, lose who?

                It's not a bad call.

I missed his points previously because of a lack of cash then went with Trent when Haaland was out.

I heard the mood music was doubtful tho.

I was thinking of Schar but held off in case of Salah news because I was keen on Gordon.

Then realised I had an opportunity for KDB but had got Foden in by then.

It's going to the wire which is great.

Hey all. Haven't paid much attention to football as I've been busy. Rank has tripled 2 weeks and I'm going to wild card. What going on with Foden? Should I just get in KDB?

Foden was just ill but if money is no issue KDB is a differential.

There is a fever in the Man City camp.

A bit like dgw fever around these parts!

Did Son owners get a bit fortunate with the penalty? Or was it just game state.

Neither. I made him score. My rival has him as captain and I’d just commented how uninvolved he’d been.

Penalty was inevitable at that point

Pretty fortunate I think. Arsenal looked like they were coasting to an easy victory until Raya made a huge mistake, and then it was a crazy game and anything could have happened.

Little bit of both, he was pretty quiet all game except penalty and 1 good chance, almost one-on-one which ended in row Z.

Arsenal got bit desperate in defense in the last 20 minutes, if it wasn't for Raya's howler they would probably cruise to easy win but that Romero goal gave Spurs a bit of second wind.

He did miss a one v one in on the keeper earlier in the match....the old Son would have finished. Seems a bit low on confidence.

Brighton in April scored only once and it was an OG from a huge Muric mistake.
Newcastle and Chelsea might have real cs potential for gw37 as Brighton isn’t the attacking team we knew the past few years

The technical term is starved of service. Do you know which United player passed to Højlund the most on Saturday? Onana. Says enough about United's play I think.

          This is a ridiculous story…

Former Port Vale player Ryan Burge hates the club so much, he flew a plane over their ground on Saturday with a banner MOCKING their relegation from League One.

He got a pilot’s license, JUST so he could do it.

          All new levels of pettiness.

            Assuming BB37, 38 is best.

You will likely have fewer Arsenal in 37 on BB so you can WC in the perfect 3 for GW38.

The way that defence is going, you could easily be missing 2 or 3 of them. I'd roll if you can get a playing 3 out (Gusto, Burn and another) but even 2FT may not give you 15 players

          14/15 doublers for GW37

          Petrovic - Onana
          Porro - Walker - Burn - Dalot - Brantwaith
          Fernandes - Foden - Gordon - Palmer - Son
          Isak - Jackson - Haaland

          A) Roll 36
          B) Fernandes -> Havertz
          C) Burn -> Gabriel

I'll probably roll but got a major fomo on White/Havertz for GW36 and 38.
