What a week to punt captaincy on Foden.. season over

I weighed it up myself, Foden has been in fabulous form. The confidence/simplicity with which Haaland moved the ball to score last GW swayed me to back him though. I could have easily been in the same boat as, it felt like a marginal call. Don't beat yourself up over it, second half still to come for a Foden brace.

Absurd use of VAR again. Why can’t he give that after seeing it once!? Total waste of everyone’s time watching it ten times! At least they got the decision right I guess.

Completely agree, it's a joke that a professional football official requires 2+ looks of a slowed down replay to call that

I went isaak captain so definitely not ideal Haaland getting (at least) a Hattie. If I lose 15 points to captaincy still places to make it up elsewhere.

Unless you were chasing by like 50 or more points, not captaining Haaland was quite silly. There are still 3 weeks left, enough to catch up using other methods and Haaland always had the best data

You are not going against Haaland in 37 so if you don't gamble here you only have 38 to gamble on. Bit late by then

      1. Dammit_182
        • 5 Years
        1 year, 11 months ago

Exactly. Haaland was the obvious shout but arsenal/newcastke offered up options that had a chance of hauling so you either just go with the EO and hope the rest of your team is differential enough to make gains or pick a different captain with the outside shot of making up ground. Just didn’t come off this time
