Would you sell Hojlund to Jackson for a -4 as Utd are honking? Thanks

Looking to maintain my ML lead (nearest rival is 29 points behind me has 14 DGW players atm and BB left, next nearest rival is 41 points behind, has 12 DGW players and BB).

    My team (* denotes DGW):
    Petro* Onana*
    Gab Porro* Gusto* Munoz Lascelles
    Palmer* Son* KDB* Foden* Gordon*
    Haaland Isak Muniz

    ITB: 3.6, 1 FT

Nearest rival has a completely different defence other than Porro (Walker, Burn, Dalot, Van Hecke-injured), Bruno instead of KDB, Jackson instead of Muniz

Next nearest rival has Walker, Van Hecke-inj, Bradley-inj? in defence, Havertz instead of KDB, and Jackson instead of Munoz

Problem I have is that in order to get Jackson instead of Munoz need to take a hit to get rid of Gusto for Burn or someone (so I'd be neutralizing points with this option), to get Wilson (for a shrewed differential) I have no choice but to get a non-playing 3.9 defender instead of Lascelles; other option is to get Joao Pedro for Muniz and hope that Gusto plays at least one game

    What would you do?

Do you have BB left to use? If not, how about Lascelles to Gvardiol?

Yes I do have BB (so looking to get as many doublers as I can get while acknowledging that I probably can’t realistically get to 15) and I can’t get gvardiol as I have KDB as my ‘third’ city slot (and rivals don’t have him atm)

or if you feel Jackson could haul again (I had him on the bench in 36 🙁 ) - I would do Gusto/Muniz to Burn/Jackson. This still gives you Petro is Chelsea manage a clean sheet and gives you Burn and Jackson which your nearest rival has.

but with BB you till have an issue with Lascelles not playing

Just realized that Gusto/Muniz to Burn/Jackson gives you 4 Newcastle so need to take another hit to do Lascelles to say Dalot to match your main rival. That's my final thought - good luck!

Seeing lots of chat that ARS will hammer Utd this weekend and it makes sense as Utd have really been awful but their record at Old Trafford is not very good at all... Other than a win there during Covid times, their last win at OT in the league was in 2006 .... #footballheritage....

Definitely feels likely they'll go there and win but it isn't a great ground for the ARS...

    Playing BB in 37 - 1 FT and 6.6 IB (* = DGW)

    Dub
    Gusto* Gabriel RAN
    Son* Palmer* Odegaard Havertz Foden*
    Haaland* Jackson*
    Neto Branthwaite Mitchell Mateta

    Neto to Ederson with FT
Any of these worth a hit:
    1. RAN to Gvardiol (need another keeper instead of Ederson) for -4
    2. Odegaard to Gordon for -4
    3. Mateta to Isaak for -4

Was doing great but messed up post gw34 wildcard..still have TC and BB, when to play each? Bench is rubbish anyway (kellegher, Udogie*, Taylor, Muniz) so best to TC Haaland in DGW37?

    Porro Burn Maguire Walker White
    Bruno Foden Gordon Son Palmer
    Jackson Haaland Isak

BB this week (not ideal with keepers etc) but what’s best moves here?

    Areola Kaminski
    Porro Gusto Gabriel Branthwaite VVD
    Saka Son Gordon Palmer Foden
    Haaland Jackson Isak

    A. VVD & Kaminski > Gvardiol & Keeper (Pickford/Onana/Raya
    B. VVD & Saka > Burn (5.1 def) & KDB

Is this the correct bench options out of all these? Or do I start White against Utd over Branthwaite

    Dubravka
    Gvardiol | Branthwaite | Chalobah
    Son | Gordon | Foden | Palmer
    Jackson | Haaland | Isak

    Areola | Saka | White | C.Richards

    BB 37, 2 FT
Got Maguire, Van Hecke, Bruno (also Gabriel who originally was going to swap for a dgw'er)

Just do Maguire and Van Hecke to 2 other defenders? (slim pickings!)

BB this week and have Maguire, Van Hecke and Schar.

Think I can convince myself to do Maguire and Schar to Burn and Romero for a -4. Anything worth and additional hit for Van Hecke (up to 5.1m)? I’m thinking not.

    BB in GW37
    .1 ITB

    Onana, Petrovic
Gabriel, Burn, Romero, Maguire, Van Hecke
    Foden, Palmer, Gordon, Son, Bruno
    Jackson, Haaland, Issac

    Bruno>Richarlison
    Maguire>Gvardiol

    Van Hecke >4.9 Defender for a -4
    A. Webster 4.2
    B. Branthwaite 4.4
    C. Other DEF...?

The premier league is the farmer's league now. If the players are going to be run into the ground, only squads like City can win on all fronts.

Players arent been run into the ground. Paid a fortune for what most of us did at that age for free. I played junior football for 20 years, 50 games a season. Its the squad thing that makes the difference though. 2.5 teams you can wheel out anytime and so it's City again.

I would disagree, football is way more physical than ever. When I was younger I beat David Beckham's time (who was considered fit) on the beep test but it means nothing. I bet a lot of people are more "fit" than De Bruyne but if we make De Bruyne who isn't genetically athletic play an excessive amount of games compared to other leagues, we lose seeing a world class player play football. Henderson literally built his career off of running and pressing but is half the footballer. Other times this season, I've seen great players like Salah, Saka, etc. not playing their best because the premier league is so tiring. Liverpool can't turn up against Crystal Palace or any team in the league and expect a walk in the park.

Football gods helped Dortmund win today over state owned P$G.

Mbappe did nothing over two legs but is the modern day GOAT in football. Sold his soul for money.

Feel like football has dropped in quality compared to other sports. The smaller league/supporters are holding it down.
