Which are the best SGW or DGW players that would break the Scout Picks front 7 (that looks quite template)? I'm likely to transfer in Jackson but could play 5-2 and go with a differential (not MCI) as spots taken

I think Arsenal vs a Casemiro and Evans CB pairing could go big. Even Everton could score a few vs SHU but not sure i'd be that brave. Otherwise I think you are looking at variations - e.g., KDB instead of Foden, Wilson instead of Isak, Richarlison instead of Son.

    Final decisions on BB.
    Porro or Romero?
    Cucurella or Chalobah?

I'd go R and Cu, can see why people would opt for Porro though.

Dropped to 3rd in my league (damn you Mitchell and Robertson...)

    Thoughts on Maguire/Saka/Solanke > Porro/De Bruyne/Jackson for a -8?

Gambling that United somehow keep up their decent record against Arsenal and nullify Saka (whom they both have).

Would give a bench boost of:

    Pickford, Areola
    Gusto, Branthwaite, Burn, Aït-Nouri PORRO
    Foden, Palmer, Son, Garnacho, KDB,
    Haaland, Isaac, JACKSON

Could also just bring in Porro/Gvardiol and Jackson and enjoy Saka's 15 goals against United...

BB generally gets 15-25 points, so a minus 8 really doesn't feel sensible. Maybe -4 for the Maguire & Solanke parts is comfortable, but I would not take a hit to lose Saka. I am considering getting Saka or Havertz in on a FT in place of Bruno...

    Advice needed please

My BB37 team is looking like this:

    Petrovic Onana
    Burn Gvardiol Gabriel Porro RAN
    Son Foden Gordon Palmer Havertz
    Haaland Isak Jackson

I kept my Arsenal players as they would do really well against United.

Is there anything you would do for a hit? RAN the obvious weakness but not sure there is a defender worth taking a hit for?

      Ouch, tough call.

I'm not sure I see an Arsenal pen. I'm not sure Everton get a clean.

Comes down to Saka vs a depleted United, perhaps with Bruno back, and whether we have last gw's KdB or the KdB of the few weeks before that. I'm not sure KdB is as high goal threat personally, so I'd lean to A.

Penalties are strange thing to try and predict, but why don't you see one when Saka, Martinelli, Trossard, Havertz are going to be up against Evans and Casemiro, and Ben White messing with Onana? These are all accidents waiting to happen!

Potentially, I think it's easy for each of us to have an idea of the narrative the game will go, which is all part of the fun.

Personally, I think Arsenal will cause the damage before fouls are made. Stats say that a pen is slightly more likely than average though so maybe go with that!

    A)keep garnacho
    B)garnacho to adingra (-4)
    C) saka + garnacho to richalison + gordon (-8). Get havertz in gw38 for free.
    D)kdb + garnacho to foden + gordon/richalison (-8)

Tough, United looking poor and unlikely to score highly vs Arsenal. But its not like a poor Spurs are going to score highly vs City so you're comparing Bruno vs Newcastle against Richarlison vs Burnely - so maybe the latter just about edges it, but occasionally VAR forgets they are watching Man United and occasionally give us a pen, so that could swing it.

Bruno to Arsenal would be more clear for me and I am tempted regardless of his fitness status.

    B: Ederson, Van Hecke & Schar -> Onana, Gvardiol & Burn (-4)

I wouldn't hit to bring in Onana and not really getting the Brighton appeal. Schar to Burn is the obvious move and would then see what that leaves you with upgrading Van Hecke.

The speed the linesman put his flag up was concerning. How often do we see blatant offsides and the lino keeps his flag down until the attack is over.

More so the first transfer, both have a double and teams not defending well. Guess a CS vs Burnley would be enough.

If Bruno is fit its 2 fixtures vs 1 but if hes out its a no brainer.

My only certain transfer right now is Schar out. I have Bruno (who could be injured) and Onana and strongly feel one of them will be my second FT.

I keep coming round to the idea of Romero, and then I remember it is Spurs and could easily see them lose both games. But I can't look past Havertz as my Bruno replacement.

      1. tommo-uk-
        • 13 Years

Yeh Havertz is a lock for me. Also gives a bit of cash to go Gordon to Luis Diaz in 38 as a cheeky punt.

Only concern i have with Romero is his temperament...hes capable of a red card in any game, maybe VDV instead?

        1. Pegboy
          • 15 Years

Go Romero if you can afford it. He's only had 2 YCs in last 20 odd games and he looks much more of a goal threat

I think this is the thing for me - I don't see any doubler who I don't either own (or my rival this week owns) that provides clear CS potential. So why not one of the more attacking defenders around in Romero?

Nacho, although he could be United's main hope this week.

    Morning all,

1FT, BB active. Went for template WC35 as on best ever rank, clear in ML’s and didn’t want to bugger it up.

Schar, Van Hecke > Burn, Dunk -4 the obvious moves?

    Petrovic / Vicario

Gabriel / Porro / Branthwaite / Schar* / Van Hecke*

    Gordon / KdB / Son / Foden / Palmer

    Isak / Haaland / Jackson

    Cheers!

Yeah those are the obvious moves.

Yes on the Schar to Burn. Does Dunk score 4 points to pay the hit? Not convinced.

People looking to sell Onana, then he'll go and do something really silly in the DGW, like save a pen and get max baps despite conceding 5.

      Only if I sell him

I think when United had their third string defence in front of him, he was taking a lot of shots but the quality of them was low enough that he was racking up the saves. But now the fifth string defence is playing, the shot quality he is facing has improved and given the opposition will also be improved in 37 so negative points quite likely. That said, I don't really know who I'd bring in to replace him.

He's in the don't buy / don't sell category for this week IMO.

    Yay or nae?

    Kelleher > Pickford
    Maguire > Cucurella
    Watkins > Jackson
    Bruno > Son/Olise

    (-12)

    Bench boost

Prefer Petrovic and Tarkowski for the first two.
      Bring in Jackson.
Wait on Bruno news, if fit then keep.

I'm in a similar boat and I'm not going there - will probably save BB for 38 even though it's a risk.

Differential FH team. Too risky or could work?

    petrovic
    gvardiol romero burn
    kdb richarlison palmer madueke
    haaland isak wilson

    pickford son dunk dalot

Looks good. Son vs Burnley is dangerous to bench though.

      Nothing risky about it.

Wilson over Jackson could work, no Son or Foden seems very risky though.

Son was rampant in the reverse fixture and his recent returns haven't been as bad as some people might imagine since Spurs sat out GW26 (6ppg).

Play double spurs and bench madueke then? Or bench Rich?

I guess a home fixture against a doomed and poor Burnley side might just be the tonic Spurs and Richarlison need this weekend.

Which 2 to go with Haaland in FH37?

    a) Isak

    b) Jackson

    c) Wilson

      A and B.

I like A & C, assuming Wilson stays fit and plays both games.
