    Apologies if people are seeing this again, just trying to get some more opinions here. Sorry for the length of this post also.

    If anyone fancies a read and help then would be most appreciated.

    After leading my ML pretty much all season, my rival in 2nd has clawed things back to just 2 measly points! Quite unbelievable, and I desperately wanna win it.

    Anyway, my team is:

    Petrovic
    Gabriel - Gvardiol - White
    Son - Foden - Palmer - Gordon
    Jackson - Haaland - Isak
    _____________________________
    Pickford: VDV, Bruno, Burn

    1FT, 3.0m ITB

    His team is:

    Petrovic
    Gabriel - Gvardiol - Porro
    Son - Foden - Palmer - Gordon
    Jackson - Haaland - Isak
    ______________________________
    Verbruggen: VDV, Bruno, Burn

    1FT, 0.2 ITB

    As you can see, very similar teams, and will both have 1FT going into 38.

    It’s a guess as to who MUST start for him, along with myself, and both will likely captain Haaland also.

    Wether he starts his double spurs defence and me double Arsenal defence I’m really unsure about.

    But with all the possibilities for a neck and neck battle into the last GW, what would be the best option here?

    Gordon > Saka/Havertz perhaps?
    Cover one of his spurs defenders and bench Isak? (Not fond of)

    Really don’t think a hit would be wise with it being so close.

    I have way more money ITB, so maybe exploit that? I dunno.

    Maybe just best to play my own game and simply choose who I think will score most points.

    Anyway, open to any help and ideas, VERY nervous times!

      It will just go down to luck..

      I'd sell bruno for havertz and would consider captain Palmer . Gl keep us updated on the final outcome:)

        He’ll definitely captain Haaland, so I’ll defo do the same, if I was chasing I’d probably captain Palmer or Son.
        Bruno likely benched right now, but would like to play both Bruno & Gordon, but would mean benching one of Jackson/Isak in a 352

        Such tough decisions.

      I'd be surprised if he started both his Spurs defenders...

      That said, the easiest way around this is to simply pick a different captain and hope for the best.

        Thanks CP! Agreed, I doubt he’d play both TOT defenders also as he has Gabby and Gvardiol same as myself. He’ll likely bench VDV.

        Yep, a switch in the captaincy is a bold call, but I just know he will go Haaland, and righty so….he’s a great captaincy choice, so feel like I must do that to block him.

        This will all come down to either who we transfer in (could even end up doing the same move), or quite literally who keeps a clean sheet and who concedes haha.

          I get why you're captaining Haaland, so, assuming he's getting Havertz (like everybody else), why not going for Saka or even Trossard?

            Cheers man! But gutted as I was 12k like 8 GW’s ago but ah well those are the turns.

            Indeed, I had considered Trossard, just his mins that slightly worry me, Saka definitely an option, it’s between him and Havertz really, I actually think he will go Saka in all fairness.

      If you are convinced he will captain Haaland then deviating away from that makes it 50/50, or worse if you trust that Haaland has the highest expected points this week. My starting 11 is most similar to your prediction of your opponent's but De Bruyne instead of Foden, Saka instead of Gordon and White instead of Gabriel. I am an Arsenal fan, but will have Haaland (C) but am toying with De Bruyne to Havertz (because I don't want to sell Son or Saka to Havertz and don't want to take a hit and don't have the cash for Gordon - currently on my bench - to Havertz).

              B) Burn + Bruno ➡ White + Havertz (3-4-3)

              A has Palace cover and Isak on bench. B has double Arsenal, Isak starting. Tough one!

                To be honest it's just too hard to decide. Will olise haul 3 games in a row ? Will Arsenal crumble under pressure? I'd go b but a is a great option too. Bruno could also outscore both olise and havertz haha

      Isak could easily haul as Newcastle are still playing for Europe, so getting Ortega is the safest bet.

    Evening all,

    41 points ahead of my rival going into the final gw in our money league, haven't won anything yet, so still cautious! want to avoid a - 4 hit if I can help it. Bench boost is active but aware only two players will start from my bench. Worth the - 4 to get Porro on the boost? or just roll with the below and hope I've done enough to get over the line, appreciate any feedback.
