Hungary v Switzerland team news: Shaqiri benched

The first of three European Championship matches today gets underway at 14:00 BST in Cologne: Hungary v Switzerland.

It’s the second Group A encounter following Germany’s win over Scotland last night.

It’s a match of limited Fantasy interest, although Hungary’s Dominik Szoboszlai is owned by 18% of managers in the official game.

The Liverpool midfielder starts as expected for his national side.

There are no huge shocks with the Hungary team, with Peter Gulacsi getting the nod over Denes Dibusz between the sticks.

The big team news from the Switzerland camp is that Xherdan Shaqiri is only among the substitutes.

      I was always staying away from Hungary after watching them get beat by Ireland a week or two ago. I heard some people touting them. I figure they must have missed that game.

    Scotland will be watching this game closely to see where they can pick up a point, or three. Probably hard to pick up a point in Cologne next time out, but it could be a three-point wooden spoon in Stuttgart.

    Then after the goal, another added: ' Hungary are winning this game now'.
    It's still 2:1 to Switzerland.
    I'm confused.

    Are in play subs not working for anyone else? I make the in play sub changes and it says “confirm” etc, but then the team just reverts to how it was without saving the changes?
    Or am I massively missing something here?
    Any help appreciated.

        Ohhh so you only get a short window for it to take proper effect? I didn’t know that.

            Cool gotcha, I’ll try and to them in future like an hour before first kick off of the day.

            Can you wait until subs play first before you transfer them in? I thought the idea was you have to take that gamble of subbing out players that you think will score more points than the ones your benching?

        Because germany lost their clean sheet, so wanted to replace the players with the above (Tah & Mittlestadt > Faes & Trossard), I’ve no idea how this works haha

          You're best off waiting until the morning that your subs play as someone else on your team might score less than Mittelstadt and Tah.

            I totally get that, but don’t you have to take the gamble of subbing in/out players before kick off? Or can you just bring those sub points off the bench and swap them in AFTER they&?3 played?
            It’s so confusing I think I might just leave it haha

          Subs open from end of game yday plus 1 hour maybe to just before kick off today.

          Now to put the belgians wait till all matches complete today. Or just do it tmrw morning.
          But as others said others in ur team may not even get 3 pts so wait till end of tmrw i suggest

            This ain't quite right. After the games yesterday, the game took over 3 hours to update, and even then you couldn't make changes until the round was "unlocked", which was around 4-5am UK time

            Cheers man, I tried doing them yesterday once all the games ended, and it asked me to confirm it and the action cannot be undone etc, so I clicked confirm, but then my team just still shown tah & mittlestadt still in main 11 with faes & Trossard still benched.
            I’ll try and do it jsut before games see if that makes it happen.

            I totally get you about others perhaps scoring less than 3 and stuff though.
